Toshiba used cursive script on a lot of things they made not just electronic parts but complete devices as well.

My DD-4000 "Big Foot" and My DD-2000 has Fake Toshiba's and they work well. But you can't find the good ones anymore OH WELL!
Agreed...there is some REAL GOOD WORKING FAKE ones out there but wow they are a lot harder to find! I had a TS3200 that had them in it and it worked really well and last I heard still kicking lol. Today is the Lottery for real when it comes to them!! THANKS for stopping by my friend!!

@1883GotDown I am really wanting to build a 4 pill I just wished there was a 1 stop source for all the parts even better I wished someone would come up with a kit like the old days with a heath kit. I have already built one of those 2 transistor Chinese kits but I am ready to go bigger and more specific for the 11 meter band.

I still have a deer hunter 100 . I was gonna use it as driver for my dave made mobi 4 pill 2879 . The DH100 has a 1446 in it

This is very much a real 2879. If I'm not mistaken they used them in the yaesu ft 757 and the yaesu ft 301 in the very early days.
