- This is Railway Training School Walton Lahore. Here different officers, station masters and train drivers are given training about the working of Pakistan Railways and movement of trains. There is a very wasteful system of trains in Pakistan
Any English railwayman from a hundred years ago would instantly recognise this system , it has not changed apart from diesel and electric locomotives since partition, railways in the rest of the world have moved on while Pakistan railways are still stuck in 1900 , still pretty much as the English left it
