I like the simplicity of the old one. We have several different drivers and the fastrac is one of the easier ones to explain how to drive. With this one I can see dad phoning me up every time to let the handbrake off

I like the new layout of the armrest and the features on it, very smart and would be easier to use with attachments such as drills, can’t wait to get my hands on one 👍🇬🇧

Bring that chassis size out with up to 280hp pto would be great here in New Zealand. Even just a range from 160 to 280hp pto on that chassis as the 8330 just abit big of a clumsy horse for tight jobs

Sadly like all tractors now….electronics, electronics….when the faults begin you then become totally reliant on the dealerships…and I’ve heard some truly worrying stories..Good luck….old is best😊😊👍

about time they did something about the "off the shelf" controls, l’m a fendt guy and that is a reason i wouldn't have chosent a jcb even if the dealership was across the street... once you realise how much quicker you are with all implements in your palm or under your thumb, reaching around for front arms rear arms pto gas lever, you can't keep up with the speed at which you are used to turn around on the headlands.

More complicated menus/buttons that people will get setup at pdi/handover then won’t change as they’re a pain in the arse, what was wrong with a simple on/off park brake, still need a separate gps screen, and a isobus screen so you’re not flicking back and forward screens for everything and missing stuff

This is all good stuff to match an even exceed the competitors and features that operators were wanting for some time but how about producing a basic version as well as an option . Manual gearbox or even powershift as not everyone likes a vario style transmission , manual spools, manual controls etc . These might all sound like things from the past but they are very much wanted back . I believe a more basic version of the Fastrac would sell not only here in the UK but open up markets in countries that don't need and want all the latest tech .

I have to admit that for a couple of seconds I was baffled by the announcement that JCB had spent a fortune designing a new arm rest. Can't you give it a better name?

How about spare parts in say 5 or 10 years time. Will they still be available. Also, with all electric controls, I feel there could be too much that could go wrong, and too much down time when not working. Not just JCB, but all tractor manufacturers these days. Still looks a real nice unit, plus what is the fuel burn compared to other manufacturers per hour.
