For Bach piano pieces, I listen to Glenn Gould. For Brahms, Beethoven , Schubert, Schuman and some Mozart, I listen to Radu Lupu's takes. Gould left the concert stage to devote in studio recordings. Radu Lupu on the other hand felt uncomfortable doing studio recordings with all those microphones around him and preferred live concerts. Thanks to Decca for releasing all the recordings he made under their label. And thank you very much for this download.

Unfortunately, Decca sound engineers destroyed Radu Lupu's sound. This is also the reason why he compeletely left the studio for his last 30 years.

Of people I owe thanks to, and have failed to thank for their wonderful uploads, you are one of the conspicuous ones in my mind, troubling my conscience. Thank You for so many wonders you have brought to us all!
I hope in the next couple of days to upload another Lupu recital, no Mozart, but some haunting Schumann and Schubert. As time permits, concerto performances by him also have surfaced. I hope to get them up too, but not immediately. Thank you for writing, and for so many treasures you share.
