My kwid completed 2.5 years, during this period I took my car from Uttarakhand to Udaipur around thousand kilometres continuously, many times, and this car Never ever gave me any problem.

@@marellavenkatesh2688 (Read Till The End; You will Thank Me Later) Kwid always has a little noisy engine. But thats not the problem. Main problem is low pick up and road vibrations inside the cabin while driving. Shock absorbers are not that good. I changed both lower arms of front shock absorbers in just 2.5 years of use. The whole body is made with thin metal sheet. The Oil Chamber is made of plastic which gets damaged by uneven rocky surfaces. Due to which the Engine Will Cease (if chamber is even slightly damaged); so the damage and engine cease both are not always covered under motor insurance. Gears get hard and stuck and service people DO NOT have any answer for it. Service Centre Personnels are Less Trained and DONT listen to customer requests. They consider customers as fools. If you complain to customer care then the service manager will try to save his job and prove you (the customer) wrong by catching you in techincal terms. Only things good in kwid 800/ 1000 CC are its AC , Milage and Power Steering. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 🙏🏼🙏🏼 DO NOT BUY KWID OR EVEN TRIBER (This 7 seater car has only 1000 CC engine; very low on power and pick up). Renault is a company which has lost its mind and only makes light and powerless vehicles which are only good for milage.

Mercedes nahi chahiye bhai... bas car thik se chale bina band hue... meri kwid 30-40 baar band ho chuki hai last year... kai baar mai highway pe accident se bacha hu... it is very dangerous when car automatically shuts down while driving. On top of that Engine takes very heavy load when AC is ON. Itna load nahi lena chahiye car ne. Koi luxury car nahi chahiye hume... bas smoothly chal jaye... bina band hue.

Jab tak khud ki G**d nahi jalti tab tak 99% Logoko dusro ki problem faltu lagti hai. Mere kwid ko same problem ayi thi. Highway pe chalte chalte achanak band. Scanner tool pe bhi koi error nahi. Pick up loss to bohot hi zyada. Mai un sabko challenge karta hu (jinko ye video/ problem faltu ya fake lagti hai) ke meri Kwid chala ke dikhao aur pasand ayi to fir bol dena.
520000 km abtak chala chuka hu bhai...aajtak service centre jane ka nobata nhi aayi aur average ki to badsah hai bhai.24 with AC in highway.

I am facing the problem with its accelerator pedal. In low speeds the accelerator pedal doesn’t work and even I press the accelerator, the car doesn’t accelerate or move forward. When I switch off and on the engine then it works well. I contacted my nearest showroom, they don’t have any clue regarding this.Any one else facing this issue ?
I also visited Renault service center Jammu in connection with the kwid recall relating to an issue of staring. But I was told that 2016 models were not in the recall list.weather it was true or not

3 years ago my car's ac suddenly stopped cooling when we are going on highway and when car is at idle position some noice comes from the engine which ac is on..
i am using renaut kwid 800 from last three years. so far car was good but travelling on hilly roads is an issue and now my car is giving lot of noice in engine.
My kwid has done 22k km.. faced 2 power steering failure 2 times. 1st time service centre ppl said it's just software glitch. After 6 months same issue happened again and they replaced the whole power steering unit. I know we cannot expect good interior quality at this price point but glovebox lock broke down, door lock pins broke, AC went's slider broke. This is unacceptable. Also from day 1 I'm hearing a weird noise when I press the clutch while reversing. Never heard such noise b4 in any car. The power steering issue appears to be most common issue on all Renault car. I have sen this issue in duster, triber too. They had recalled kwid for this issue. But my car was not recalled. Thankfully I had bought extended Warrenty and got the power steering replaced for free of cost. Otherwise it would have costed me 20k
ONE OF THE MAJOR PROBLEM THAT YOU FAIL TO MENTION IS THE PROBLEM OF FRONT CONTROL ARM BUSHING. EVEN AFTER REPLACEMENT, IT CAN HARDLY RUN FOR 1000KM, WHICH MEANS IT WON'T EVEN LAST FOR A MONTH.
ANOTHER PROBLEM IS ITS EXHAUST PIPE, WHICH WONT LAST EVEN FOR A YEAR.

Yes,,,,sudden stopping of engine I also encountered but not frequently,,,I went to service centre n they changed the accelerator pedal....After that power of the engine n mileage also increased dramatically,,,now local running 14 to 15 km/L n on highway 21 Km/L,,I am getting,,,,,Darbhanga service centre for RENAULT is excellent,,,,

All performance issues discussed here would NOT be faced by 2nd generation and upward owners.
1st generation KWID (2016 make) had serious issues (as discussed above).
Chalti gaadi achanak se band hona bahut risky hai especially in hills. Steering lock hua aur agle mod pe gadi khai me.

I am using this Car from 2 Year. Issues I faces are 1. its suspension get loose that create noise when it goes in uneven road. 2. Its has uneven mileage issue 3. its Acceleration issue and loss power while driving 4. Misses Breaking when you are on little high speed (complained many times they fix somethings ) then problem come again after service.

My kwid 1000cc is now one year and 4months and done 16000kms.in Mumbai Bangalore highway I have driven in 140km/hour speed.its stable and never vibrates.perfect car.i have driven 800kms in one stretch in 11hours it's very comfortable.

Cars of this particular segment aren't meant for doing 120 kph on highways, these cars are purely for city uses and it is also good for that, build quality isn't bad at all, because you'll get what you'll pay for, considering the price it's a good city car
I have driven kwid for 40000 km and yes i have faced some issue like car stops while running clutch plate are damaged after 38000 km. Having issue in braking and car doesn't roll on high speed or any kind of instability
sir, l would like to make a complain that during pollution control testing in a petrol pump for my kwid rxl 0.1L,it was found that after pressing accelerator in high speed in between 2400 to 2700rpm, it varies and fluctuated but didn't stand fixed. they said that. so, speed fluctuation is a big problem.

I am owning a Kwid RXT 2016 (800cc) & Verna fludic. I am facing a series issue in my Kwid in summer's.
38° temperature k baad, AC cool nh krta and car pickup nh uthati hai, first gear me (in traffic).
Jise hi AC swich off krte h, lgta h pure engine me power fir se aa gaya h, and then pickup uthati h.
Jb car 2nd gear tak pahuchti h, tb jaa kr AC cooling samajh me aata h. (Thoda traffic se nikalne k baad)
5 saal me Kwid bus 40k chali h. Papa aaram se chalate h, and bhut maintain (on time service/part change) rkhte h.
Is issue ko Renault Varanasi wale bhi solve nh kar paye.

Meri kwid rxt 1.0 hai aur ye 6000 km chal chuki hai, itne km me bahot pareshan ho gaya hu, pehle to isme vibration ki problem aayi, phir 2 baar accelerator sencer ki problem aaye gadi apne aap race hone lagti hai, phir abhi jo haal me 18 mahine se ye problem continue hai k jaise hi gear change karne k liye clutch press karte hai to engine (car) apne aap band ho jati hai aisa hamesha nahi hota par 100 km ki drive ma 2-3 baar aisa hota hai jo problem aaj tak solve nahi hua hai.
Baki milage highway par 20+ mil raha hai, thoda break noise, breaking issue bhi hai.
Samajme nahi aata k Renault jaise international co. aisi faaltu gadi kaise bana leti hai.
Me is gaadi ko purchase ke liye recommended nahi karungaa.

I m talking about this year 2021 my brother brought this kwid AMT varient and within 24 hours car stop in traffic don't know what's the problem but it's not going further like wheels are not taking power we can say on drive and reverse mode on both.. so much disappointed 😞 after spending almost 6lakhs for AMT model.

Mere me overheating problem ho rahi hai. Heat indicator kuch dikhata nahi hai phir bhi exaust fan automatically itna shor karta hai, jabhi bhi fan chaloo ho jata hai tab gari ki acceleration mein bahut dikat hota hai. Iske bare me bhi kuch batao

True. Body quality is low. Battery issues are there. And braking is top most problem. Rest can be ignored considering the cost like fuel mileage fluctuations, noise and vibration.
We are facing starting problems frequently. On 1.8.2022 also faced the problem at Chalakkudy in Kerala at around 2.45 pm. Contacted the Authorised Service Centre at Pulluvazhy in Ernakulam district, at the toll free number etc and they have not responded positively upto 5.00 pm and informed that the Service centre will close at 5.00 pm and we have to leave the car at Chalakudy and return to home at Perumbavoor in Ernakulam district. The actions from the persons attended the call in Toll Free Number and the service centre at Pulluvazhy were so much irritating and irresponsible. It was heavily raining on that day and in the car obe Epileptic patient was there. It is fortunate that the problem occured after we have stopped the vehicle for our lunch in front of a Hotel and not in the middle of the road in the Highway. It is to be noted that Customer is the backbone of any business and when the customer lodges a complaint immediate and prompt action must be taken upon it. I have informed them that I will be proceeding further in the matter including legal ways to get my rights protected and to see that such irresponsible actions will not occur in future. I have told them that I will be returning/gifting the vehicle to them. I have the recordings of all conversations we had with the persons attended the calls in Toll Free Number and at Pulluvazhy Service Centre.

Meri kwid 1000cc wali hai, mein bhi engine stopping ki problem se pareshaan hun. Service centre mein 6 baar jaa chuka hun lekin wo problem waisi ki waisi bani hui hai. Kab band hogi iska pata nahin. Kabhi 100 km chalne ke baad bhi band nahin hoti aur kabhi 10 km mein hi 2 ya 3 baar band ho jaati hai.

Their was an excilarartor problem facing in my kwid car but when I reached service center & told him then change the new one but after paying money of the product. Eventhw that is a manufacturer failure. But suffering customer. Kwid modal RXT( Jan 2016).

My Reno kwid has finished 9 months and i have driven for 13,000km and i have found no problems. During the first service i had just had an acceleration problem. It had been corrected after that service. Till now there is no problem. It is perfect Car. I use to drive it 400 kms and no problem has been found.

Chalte chalte engine ka rukna SERIOUS SAFETY issue h. Steering centre lock ho jata hai aur brake kaam nhi krte. Is karan mai kwid ko hills me bilkul bhi nhi le ja pa rha hoon. As usual, service centre ko ghanta ni pata kya krna hai.

My, Kwid climber AMT is shaking at lower speeds below 40kmps. As per the dealership it's normal with all AMT versions. I am not happy with this.
भाई मुझे भी स्टार्टिंग प्रोब्लम हो गया है सुबह से परेशान हु मेकेनिक को समझ मे नही आया कि कियो स्टार्ट नहीं हो रही है कंपनी बोलती है सर्विस स्टेशन पर लाओ जो पचास किलोमीटर दूर है । ओर बीच बीच मे जब स्पीड कम होती है तो कट कट की आवाज आती है ओर स्टार्ट के समय भी अलग आवाज आती है ।

Mere pass bhi hain.. Kwid.. More than 8000 kms ho chuke hain.. I drove nasik, aurangabad and daily in city too in Pune... I have not faced any issues in pick up and engine and anything.. Steering is beautiful and it gives me 23+ kmpl on highway..
