Apart from noisy engine there are more cons with RXT O 2016 model
1) It has three screws in tyre instead of nuts & bolts. You cannot change tyre alone.
2) There is a fine gap under headlight where rain water seeps in and due to dust, the under portion of healight looks quite dirty and you cannot clean it.
3) Lot of gaps between rear hood and body of car resulting in dust accumulation
4) First gear starts stucking if pushed harder
5) Due to less power, unlike other cars you just cannot carry on on the same gear while crossing a speed breaker by releasing the clutch. You will have to lower the gear.
6) Top dash board glove box lock gets malfunctioned quickly.
7) No mesh wire in ac duct to prevent Rodents entry even in closed and locked car.
8) Old outdated Pin enabled inner door locks which can often break.
9) Silencer often develops cracks and is in single piece. For its removal you need to remove entire assembly of rear tyre. It should be in two parts (available in open market but not with service centres) so that rear tyre assembly is not disturbed.
10) Faulty Fuel indicator. Even when you top up tank to full the meter displays full and each bar represents 5 ltr but first three top bar will disappear within first 50km. Despite giving 15kpl in city conditions.
11) Only one reverse light on Left side
12) No default rear camera
Pros: Apart from those mentioned in video
1) Media Navigation system (including music system)Its connectivity with phone & USB
2) Plenty of space
3) Comfortable seats
4) Central locking system
5) Digital cluster MID
6) Easy manoeuvrability in city
7) Affordable price
8) Comes with basic security features like drivers airbag and anti lock brakes.
9) Decent fuel efficiency
10) Interior is very good as compared to its competitors such as Alto, Wagon R, Celerio or Spresso
Thanks for sharing the experience. This is why I think renault is selling at low price in 2nd hand market. This 2016 model is getting sold at 2.8 lakhs.

Worst experience...I bought a brand new Kwid climber AMT 1.0 ,within 2 MONTHS I faced a problem of break down n shown in service center n confirmed there is an inbuilt wiring issue n they r not responding ..even after resolving this issue how can they assure me there is no more brk down due to wiring issue...dey didn't resolve the issue till now..I'm a working woman who has to travel alone 100km everyday.,if the break down due to wiring issue happened even after resolving..whom can I ask for.!!.I'm goin to put a complaint thru legally...how cum a brand new car got this issue..!? 2 months car. ! So genuinely I'm pleading all of u ..plz don don buy Renault cars..
Its fault of that service centre not of kwid

Bro the point here is not about rash driving or something. The point is about that Renault is providing with a plastic underbody in kwid which is fragile and is subject to damage even with a less impact. Even after so many feedbacks from thousands of customer they have not improved it yet and even in kwid 2022 face-lift model the same issue is still there. In 2022 when almost all other car manufacturers are providing with a metal sturdy underbody even in entry level segment cars , Renault is still continuing with the same plastic underbody which certainty makes it more vulnerable to damage.

Bro this is good car I own kwid 1.0 climber 2018 model till now I have drove 1 lakh 20 thousand km but not having any issue. Plastic chamber is not a problem but if you drive over some big obstacles then you should check your car ones for any damage. Do periodic service on time. If you care your car then it will care you also.
