This is so cool.. I always thought these things were made with 3D software like blender but you're doing this by hand. So cool!
Thanks for the lesson, Aurelie!
Very cool artwork!
Excellent presentation. You've inspired me :)
No one needs Ai just for the sake of AI. Don't fall for the marketing hype about AI.
I think AI is ok when you use your own assets. Like she did her own letter S and then she could use AI to make the others just to save time (and then reediting them for correcting the mistakes)
@@tomgrimard8075 This is sure some legitimate use for AI. I think most of us artist are against the use of AI for randomly generating images and material based on others people work being ripped off (or "trained" as the AI enthusiasts would say).
So pretty. i appreciate the detail process.
hermoso trabajo, todo mi respeto para la artista
Finally. I bought this kit and didn’t know exactly what to do.
Very clever.
Great Thank you 33:41
NICE!
Saying goodbye to Adobe. Affinity, if you are honest and fair with your customers, you'll have me as a customer forever. But, please remember, everyone is going to subscription models, making everything unaffordable. Don't do it.
Gooooooood
This is great but why not do this in real 3D? So that it can be animated later or you can replicate the lighting and colours on another shape or letter for example?
Thanks for the tutorial, although it would have been better to do more things with vector graphics. Those lens flare stars for example, are easily achievable using AD's vector tools. Everything you do in a pixel layer will not scale well, and won't print well at larger scales. If you are trying to teach beginners to use AD, it is more useful for them to learn to do as much as possible in vector, and only use pixel layers when really necessary.
Hi, we do have other Creative Sessions which are a full vector workflow, such as Luc Sauve and Chris Rathbone's Sessions. This Session was specifically using the brush pack Aurelie created which is a raster brush pack - hence the focus.
Cool. Blend tool? Gradients along curves? AI tools? Vector brushes?
If you have feature requests there is a forum for that: forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/52-feedback-suggestions/
@@Affinitybyserif Some of them have been suggested, promised or ignored in your forums for years now but you're probably aware (:
@@thisismyalias unfortunately we can't implement every feature that's asked for, however we have added many features even since the launch of V2 - you can see them here: affinity.serif.com/en-gb/whats-new/
I use my iPad Pro with mouse and keyboard. It would be great to have the option to use the desktop interface on iPad. The whole interface is different, the locations of things in menus is different, the methods for achieving things. I don't want to learn a whole other interface when I switch to iPad Pro! Also, I also use my iPad for drawing, and finger grease affects the drawing surface. So I detest the switching between fingers to zoom, and then back to pencil, in the iPad interface. Why can't I zoom in and out without touching the screen?
Great, only another 25 letters to go.
AI could be helpful, however a lot of customers want to own their assets. I’d prefer more 3D and animation tools.
Agree. We need AI tools
We really don’t.
No, no we don't.
