That is good to know that there are Dugong sightings in the area. Please protect their feeding ground. The seagrasses. They feed on S. isoetifolium and Halophila species.

although manatees and dugongs are part of the same family, they are not the same species and you can tell by their tails. manatees have paddle shaped tails while the dugongs have separate lobes like that of a whale.

Wow! I am so happy that there are concerned citizens who really take care of the Dugongs. I was touched to see how they are. I wish that they live longer (they usually live up to 70 years).
I have never seen abundant jelly fish driven at the seashore. So beautiful though they are also harmful. Each creature has its own purpose, therefore, it must be respected.

Wow! What a phenomenon, those pink jellyfish, so many of them. Looked like an underwater alien invasion, haha! The water even turned pinkish. Kudos to you nd Sherlyn for being experienced enough to swim between them, am sure not an easy one. And what a delightful mammal a dugong is, tamed nd friendly. Wonderful for u both to have your most cherished/precious 15 min with Aban. He has grown so big! What a lovely experience! You really excelled urself, Finn, in this video. Palawan as it’s remote to most people abundance of sea species where mostly live there. Species of any kind tend to multiply without any problem . This makes the place even more beautiful and different than other island . Rare species can be found easily and keep their survival for long.

There's a lot of manatees around here I see from time to time. Especially where I go to watch the sunset and daydream about traveling again. I'm unfortunately in the same situation you had with your mother. It's any time now. 😪 I'm still watching, but it's become increasingly more difficult. The envy is literally painful. Can't travel.....yet.
