You are so simple n humble. Those cheap sunglasses have seen the end of it and yet you still have the. You wear clothings in repeat mode a lot. You chose to stay in the province and enjoy the simplicity of life. I was touched when you returned to that family and bought them iron sheets as their roof was leaking. You stopped there cause of the rain. Many more. I have seen your transformations even as a boyfriend who wasn’t used with PDA. Sherlyn is a perfect partner to you. Buying Condo's, furniture, groceries and etc. They choose to live there as what you said for comfy and also ma'am for their securities, I don't see nothing wrong with it. They already spending and investing on it. Can we just stop and not comparing them. They already help us in our economy and should be thankful with them. How about those Filipinos vloggers choosing to leave in Philippines and stay abroad. It's like vice versa ma'am. Please don't compare them, we all have different choices. Each and everyone of these bloggers/vloggers come to the Philippines to see, experience and enjoy what the country has to offer. A lot of them fall in love with the country and its people and an increasing number of them chose to live there permanently. How they chose to live may differ but all of them promotes the country in their own way. Some prefer the comforts of the city and some really dive deep living like locals in the provinces, like Finn and Kulas, Kumander Daot, etc. But I appreciate them all for giving us great content and beauty. So many things we wouldn’t have seen or know if not for these guys. So more power to them. Finn is Filipino at heart, he is a very kind and sincere upstanding young man.

It's been frustrating the last few years to say the least! My first trip back in February was stressful. The second trip in May was a bit better. I'm hopeful that trend is going to continue! Thank you Finn for your help promoting tourism in the Philippines, my birthplace, which now I re-connected to the country as well. Before my father passed away, my parents went on European vacations year after year. I remember him telling me one of his favorite country he visited is Iceland.

Hi Finn regarding your allergies. Im a Brit living in the Philippines, when ever i go home to the UK i get crazy allergies too, they start at night time and it makes it hard to breathe the whole night so i barely sleep, on my last visit i had to even call an ambulance. The moment i leave UK... boom, zero allergies... in the Philippines i have dead ZERO allergies... its the weirdest thing. My UK doctors said it might be an allergy to pine (trees) but i spend a lot of time up in camp john hay Baguio and im fine there. one thing ive noticed is Philippine houses dont have carpets, im convinced its the carpets/dust. Because actually there is one place in the Philippines i get allergies and thats at my wifes childhood home in the province. Her bedroom there has carpets and i get allergies but thankfully just mild. Anyway just thought i would share this with you as i know how annoying allergies are and thought this might help.
I am a Filipina and got the same allergies. Admit it or not. It's because I am more happy in the Philippines. Europe is physically comfortable, people are not comforting, I don't mean literally, it's in the ambiance, you get out of your comfort zone, here it starts, see sad faces, or get out of my way, body language, things we can do nothing, when I adopt and change attitude my allergies are gone, no more itching of the 5 senses. Runny nose dried up. Our immune system drops when something is disturbing. Especially when you don't found out what it is.
Wow it’s the opposite for me , I grew up in the Philippines and have allergic rhinitis but when I left the Philippines 22 yrs ago for U.K. my allergy suddenly stop 😁
Strange that. Are you coming back to the UK during common hay fever season (May -July). The air quality is better in the UK so you should be breathing better..
@@Jason787 People in Europe (the natives) overall are more friendly than the Philippines. Most people in the Philippines are friendly for monetary reasons. Actually the older generation in the Philippines are mostly really nice, I believe that is where they get the reputation for being genuinely friendly. It's certainly not for the under 50's. That's for sure

My husband has seasonal allergy. Spring time when the pollen count is high, he will take antihistamine as soon as he gets up. If he waits for the symptoms to start, it will be difficult to stop the sneezing & itchy eyes despite the medication. Too late. So, May 1, he is ready with his medication. One that works for him is Allegra. Nice to see Sharlene in Iceland with you. Enjoy your travels.

As a resident guest in the Philippines, an expat qualifies as having a responsibility to the nation hosting him or her. same with me, i am a Filipino, born in Phil, but i have been living abroad for more than 2 decades. I developed Rhinitis over the years and is easily activated by the environment. It’s horrible when i have it. But when i am back home in Philippines, i don’t have it and i feel great. Humidity is a good thing for us😂

Hi Finn regarding your allergies. Im a Brit living in the Philippines, when ever i go home to the UK i get crazy allergies too, they start at night time and it makes it hard to breathe the whole night so i barely sleep, on my last visit i had to even call an ambulance. The moment i leave UK... boom, zero allergies... in the Philippines i have dead ZERO allergies... its the weirdest thing.
My UK doctors said it might be an allergy to pine (trees) but i spend a lot of time up in camp john hay Baguio and im fine there. one thing ive noticed is Philippine houses dont have carpets, im convinced its the carpets/dust. Because actually there is one place in the Philippines i get allergies and thats at my wifes childhood home in the province. Her bedroom there has carpets and i get allergies but thankfully just mild. Anyway just thought i would share this with you as i know how annoying allergies are and thought this might help.
I am a Filipina and got the same allergies. Admit it or not. It's because I am more happy in the Philippines. Europe is physically comfortable, people are not comforting, I don't mean literally, it's in the ambiance, you get out of your comfort zone, here it starts, see sad faces, or get out of my way, body language, things we can do nothing, when I adopt and change attitude my allergies are gone, no more itching of the 5 senses. Runny nose dried up. Our immune system drops when something is disturbing. Especially when you don't found out what it is.
Wow it’s the opposite for me , I grew up in the Philippines and have allergic rhinitis but when I left the Philippines 22 yrs ago for U.K. my allergy suddenly stop 😁

@@Jason787 People in Europe (the natives) overall are more friendly than the Philippines. Most people in the Philippines are friendly for monetary reasons. Actually the older generation in the Philippines are mostly really nice, I believe that is where they get the reputation for being genuinely friendly. It's certainly not for the under 50's. That's for sure

My husband has seasonal allergy. Spring time when the pollen count is high, he will take antihistamine as soon as he gets up. If he waits for the symptoms to start, it will be difficult to stop the sneezing & itchy eyes despite the medication. Too late. So, May 1, he is ready with his medication. One that works for him is Allegra. Nice to see Sharlene in Iceland with you. Enjoy your travels.

I partied my opportunities to invest in real estate when prices was cheap ... lesson for people) dont drink ! , work and do things that you are passionate about and invest in yourself and future. Drinking brings alittle happiness for an hour but down the road you will regret it many times over.

It’s horrible when i have it. But when i am back home in Philippines, i don’t have it and i feel great. Humidity is a good thing for us😂
