Hi there instead of using the metal crimps that come with the kit you can use cable ties also know as zip ties. Plus you can get them off easily without having to cut the hose down if you need to do any maintenance work on your pole

These would still work if you ran the tubing outside the pole wouldn't it? I'm guessing you could just hold the tubing above the valve the just pull below valve.
