Been at it for 4 months now, Your videos are truly helpful man. Just wanted to thank you very much. Going to pick up my own gear next pay day so I can keep practicing at home. We get sent to like houses worth 5 million in my area and I just want to be sure I'm doing quality work. Thank you very much for your time and experience. Realized some things I've been doing wrong because of your videos.
Thank you thank you! You really helped me today! Earlier today I tried to wash the windows in my 2 bedroom apartment that I need to rent and I did a pitiful job. I was really discouraged but I found your demonstration on the internet and I'm ready to do much better!
Steve-O, thank you for your excellent teaching and guidance. You are an excellent instructor and I appreciate you sharing your experience on techniques, tools, and materials.
I love to make this part of my service as entertaining as possible when I do storefronts and restaurants. People are truly amazed at how satisfying watching this is! Haha 😆
Do you mind me asking what channel and rubber you are using. I'm currently using moerman, but having issues. It probably me, but worth trying something else. Cheers
When I'm done with a window I have some soap and bubbles at the very edges of the glass. On some windows it's almost like it's slightly underneath the plastic frame. Should I wipe a line with a towel to dry those or leave them alone and will they disappear when they dry?
You might want to try adding a wetting agent that slows down drying like EBC Glide - windowcleaner.com/products/ebc-glide or Winsol Super Slip Wetting Agent - windowcleaner.com/products/winsol-super-slip-wetting-agent
Would it be worth mentioning how an aggressive angle eliminates detailing next to the frame? I personaly move up into the corner come halfway across the glass drop down and come back up the other side then drop down the remaining sides then tackle my mountain. this alows an acute angle between the channel and frame on all instances of the frame. Great video 👍👍😁🏆
Hello. Super video. I have a question . When i start cleaning windows i start like you in the left side. But sometimes the squeeseer jumps. What do i wrong. Plesase someone helps.
Hello, I need some urgent help. I used my window pole to experiment doing cut in straight pulls on my personal window. I've been using HG Window Cleaner 500ml and I thought this might be the issue as to why my window cleaning isn't too good so when I tried out cut in straight pulls on my window I switched to washing up liquid. The washing up liquid made my window look so clean, after I had to scrub and squeegee with my pole a few time, but upon further inspection I saw dry rain marks on my window. What can I do to get rid of these dry rain marks and offer a better service to my customers? Many thanks.
Hey Steve O the streaking left behind sometimes I see a dull wide ban rather than a line. Is this caused by going over dry areas or lack of pressure? Or ? I tend to catch it later and wipe them with a dry surgical towel. I’m pretty green when it comes to window cleaning. Always love your videos
Hey Steveo I keep having the problem of leaving a line of water at the top of squeegee. Its an arching line at the top every time I turn the squeegee. Any idea what causes this?
I have the same problem and i think its because there is cleaning solution in the channel of the squeegee but im not sure. Let me know if you have figured out how to solve that one, cause i sure haven’t!
Straight pulls will result in no streaks. Fanning is faster but will leave squeegee steaks which won't show up on overcast day but sun shining through you will see chatter marks
You are wrong on finishing mate all ways finish in middle of glass if you finish on side you have to use skrim after to finish of on side wasting time. And as for sun drying the glass then you are two slow on wetting up and blading off . And best blade is 16 inch on all pains witch is standard size for sale if you can not use that blade then it’s skrim job . Ps I’ve been doing windows for 47 years
How eliminate fanning mistakes? Stop fanning 🤣. Straight pulls might take more time, but it will save your risk. Truth be told, only other window cleaner care about how we clean. Customer just want clean windows. They don’t care how. Just like none of us care how a plumber unclog a toilet. Just want the job to be done with
Pro video ! Here's another pro tip : Do not forget to change rubbers now and then on your squeegees !
This is good, just started window cleaning job, been wondering how to avoid mistakes. Thanks for this video!

I'm running into problems with thin frames where my squeegee runs over the glass onto the frame .....very frustrating
yeah, one of the ways to fix this is to cut in at a tighter angle. if the corner only touches the seal, it can slide past ~Jersey 862-312-2026
You don't use a sponge for the sides/edges of the windows?
What type of soap mixture should be used doing windows with the sun on them. Thank you.
You might want to try adding a wetting agent that slows down drying like EBC Glide - windowcleaner.com/products/ebc-glide or Winsol Super Slip Wetting Agent - windowcleaner.com/products/winsol-super-slip-wetting-agent
I always add super slip to my bucket here in Texas

How much dawn soap do I use?
It depends on personal preference on the glass, but we recommend starting with a dime-size drop of soap and increase to desired results.
Thanks man
No problem! 😁
Straight on, directly to my squeegee!!! Thank You!
Heinrich Nützel thank you!!
How do you stop the dirty water running down the sides of the window frame?
How long did it take you to learn these techniques

What soap are you using it last forever
Wondering how many time you have to rinse it per window
Oh and what do you use to clean the frames if real bad algae
Algae is pretty easy to scrub off, if vinyl, i would use my normal towel or if they are bad, a bit of bleach ~Jersey

how do you discern or judge to use more or less soap on yr applicator. ie very dirty or hot in the sun windows. thankyou cheers
Brad Cruise I put soap in my bucket, I put enough in so I see a good amount of suds on the window
Straight pulls will result in no streaks. Fanning is faster but will leave squeegee steaks which won't show up on overcast day but sun shining through you will see chatter marks
You can leaves streakes with straight pulls. I still do it sometimes
Great vid
Thank you!
damn how much did you quote for that window clean
what belt?
we have quite a few... ~Jersey 862-312-2026 windowcleaner.com/belts?pt=JJ
What tipe of squeegee you used
Luna Services this is a sorbo quicksilver 18”
This is the cleanest window ever.
You should see our warehouse windows when we have a bunch of new items to try out 😂
I do very successfully first 2 mistakes
😂
My main problem is I keep leaving streaks on the upper right corner. I can’t figure out why.
its how you are turning your channel, you might be letting it go backwards on the glass ~Jersey 862-312-2026
I get stuck on the turns when fanning. I always leave a bit of water and it's driving me nuts 😄
HAHA!
Tremendous
🙌🏻
Another mistake some rookies and veterans do is round corners.
Amen
That is gonna be the cleanest window ever 😂😂😂
You bet it is! 😂
Thanks man I'm a noob lol

Yes, of course, I apply everything I see here, but when I try to apply what I witnessed, I find myself not exfoliating well
I don't know if the problem is with the way I hold it
Some say that window is still clean to this day.

Now try straight GG4, Unger Soft Rubber, Brass 18", Flat Window Seals on hot large pictures in 98deg F direct sun. Then fanning gets challenging.
Vestin732 I like dish soap, in the sun I use the two hand method and pick up the speed a bit
So...we're trying to help people learn here. Stop drinking the damn vinegar M8.
