    Over the past 6 months, I was struggling with fatigue and occasional swelling. After starting a daily regimen of 1800 mg of Resveratrol, I noticed significant improvements. My GFR improved by 8 points, and my creatinine levels dropped from 2.5 to 1.9 mg/dL. This substantial improvement in kidney function has increased my energy levels and reduced the swelling. Resveratrol has truly made a noticeable difference in my health journey.

      That's amazing progress! Did you make any other changes to your diet or lifestyle along with taking Resveratrol?

    Thank you so much for this useful information. Please help me with these two questions. 1. Is it okay for CKD stage 3 to take astragalus? 2. Do I still need to take selenium supplement since I eat Brazilian nuts everyday?

    • @PureNutrition101
      @PureNutrition101  6 днів тому +2

      I'm glad you found the information useful.
      1. Astragalus can be beneficial for kidney health, even at CKD stage 3.
      2. Eating Brazilian nuts daily should provide you with enough selenium, potentially eliminating the need for an additional supplement.
      However, it's wise to confirm this with your doctor to avoid excess intake.
      Have a nice day! ❤️

    Great video. Is millions the new orac measure for nutrients now? First time I’ve heard of millimoles but orac levels have always universally been used. Just wondering what’s the difference between the two if there is? Thank you.

    • @PureNutrition101
      @PureNutrition101  6 днів тому +1

      Thank you for your kind words! Millimoles (mmol) are a unit of measurement for the amount of a substance, often used in scientific contexts, while ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) measures antioxidant capacity. Both are important, but they serve different purposes. Are you interested in learning more about the specific benefits of antioxidants for kidney health?

      Vitamin C supplements are not typically used to lower creatinine levels. It's essential to consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice on managing creatinine levels. Have you discussed this with your doctor before? What other methods have you considered for kidney health?

    An NHL coach suggested to keep tlaks/lectures to between 4-5 minuyes otherwise most lose their ability to retain and or theri attention levels fall fo the topic.
    That's what and why I'd keep your vids limited to.

      @@PureNutrition101 "the 4-5 minute range" applies to me for most topics incluging health.
      I can at times do a bit longer.
      It's a limited few that keep my attention for twenty minutes.
