I saw these guys with "Loudness" and "Stryper" back in 1987. To this day, it remains one of my most cherished moments of my young adult life. It is very puzzling why TNT never made it in the USA. What a damn shame!
Because Tony H had to compete w Mike Tramp, Kip Winger, Janie Lane and many others. He was flat out told he wasn't photogenic. Even though he was 100xs the vocalist they were and TNT's songs just as hooky, hard rocking and better structured than they offered. It killed Tony. Made him bitter and resentful of the American market. America broke up this band. Style over substance.
Saw this same bill here in Massachusetts as well. Such a great show and shame that they should have been much bigger. 87 was also great year for music and good times.
TNT the 80s most amazingly catchy and talented band! You can't beat Tony's voice, Ronni's guitar, Morty's bass, and great drummers always. Now music is so bad that it makes the good music even better. We cherish it more.
TNT are one of the best bands in the world. I had the opportunity to FINALLY see them two years ago. And they rule! Showguitarist? What do you mean with that term? He's a killer! Speed, harmony, structure, riffing... everything is 200%.
I had the privilege of seeing TNT at the marquee in London in the 80s ... right up the front and was blown away and have been ever since ..Ronnie is one of the greatest rock guitarist ever and what can I saw about tony harnell?...voice of an angel
Phil, saw them in Detroit on this tour with 2 of my other favorite bands Loudness and Stryper. All 3 bands were at their best at that time and that day! Absolutely one of the top shows I have ever saw. Worked out perfectly because all 3 bands were and are in my all time favorites.
The lead singers of all the 80's bands were incredible. There are few bands these days whose lead singer can hit notes like these guys !!!!. Im travelling back to the 80's tonight on youtube.
I loved this song when it came out..Still sounds great! Tony has such great hair! Yes People can sing that high..Glenn Hughes has been doing it for 35 years!
saw tnt at the marquee in London in a one off show in the 80s .. I was right up the front and had one of the best musical experiences of my life …. ive seen most of the worlds major hhard/heavy rock bands many times over and I would loved to have seen tnt more than once … tony is still active but age has affected his voice as with halford and tate etc … however in their heyday these guys were my gods .. and still are! … harnell has the voice of an angel and an angry devil rolled into one … Im so glad I got into rock music it has provided me with experiences I think no other music could have … keep the faith
+cassidydolls Me too I'm 40 years old, but I've been a vocalist for 14 or 15 that's when I started teaching myself how to sing from records. If you try it is not impossible to reach Tony Harnell's register depending on whether or not you are comfortable with putting A LOT OF EFFORT in at the beginning. I'm out of the idea of forming a band as a band has its twists and turns. Good news is I'm working on lyrics for my first solo album after I never got a band off the ground. It will allow me tons more freedom. I am glad you love this song it says a lot about the power of love. Believe in yourself and anything you want to achieve is possible!
Yeah! And what`s really impressing is that I saw this band last summer live, in Hokksund! And he STILL does the high tones without any trouble at all! wery sad that they aren`t together anymore.. my first band
Cover from 5 days ago of 10000 lovers (in one) from Tommy Johansson . Singer and guitarist in Majestica and guitarist in sabaton. Great 80 this rock voice ua-cam.com/video/YffEg5JAJZ0/v-deo.html It’s a kind of a time machine 😀
I remember seeing this on MTV's rotation for the first time and all I remember thinking was OMFG this guys voice!!! I was a young blooming singer then and I was floored and knew I'd never be this good. Well I'm ok lol had a great amateur career singing. Poor Tony and TNT should have been world beaters.
This is such a cool song and Ronni Le Tekrø is an amazing guitar player. I just saw them live in Steinkjer this august and it rocked! I just HAD to headbang to this song! LOL :)
Where it all started for me :,) so much nostalgia. I heard this when I was about 9, I'm 16 now and i'm into much heavier music than this, but never, EVER forget your roots
Miss the 80s like hell Today music has no meaning....Remember the woman whom everyone eyed on and those were the times with melodies like these made the life kick
Holy shit my post has been removed! I can;t imagine what I may have said that would have offended. I love these cats. The most precious, sweetest, cuddle kitten of my life gave me the "tell no tales" record for may birthday. That summer we wore that vinyl through! She was like ten thousand lovers in one. But our relationship was doomed coz I was married to her older sister. But until this very day we both give each other that special "remember when" look at family events. Everyone is a star.
hehe, you are both right in some way :D Tony Harnell is the singer in this video and was togehter with TNT for 22 years. He has now left and Tony Mills is the present singer in the band
@ParrisVstefanow I saw that same tour in Portland ME. TNT was the opening act but they were clearly the best band that day. Loundness was AWFUL! I waited in line 10 hours before the show so I could be the first ones in. Unknown to me at the time, my uncle was working for security for the same venue and he spotted me in line with my friends. He let us in 1 hour early before anyone else and we got to meet Tony and Ronni (EPIC!!) as well as Michael Sweet (Stryper). Greatest day of my life ever!
They actually have a dozen albums & Tony Harnell has a bunch of releases too. All good stuff as I am sure a lot of you know. They were overlooked like a lot of bands, Raging Slab, Badlands, Saigon kick, Liquid Jesus, Kick Axe, Le mans etc. Glad to be one of the ones who did not miss out.
Im in it for only for the progressive sound along with operatic power vocals... Badlands and le mans are the only bands on your list that somewhat have that... I prefer TNT, crimson glory, queensryche, metal church, deadly blessing etc etc... Do you know any unkown 80s bands like these i might like
I know they´re a "famous" band along the list but Winger has a very Strong progressive influence in their sound , check In The Heart of the Young but the demo version , it´s high class musicianship
At one point of the show Ronnie sat at the drum riser playing an accoustic, the spotlight faded, after a seconds blackout, Ronnie was dressed in a wizards cloak wearing a pointy hat: two midi guitars on stands and one strapped to his shoulders, he played a looped riff on each of the midi-axes an went straight into a tapping style solo finding the time to wave the girls in the front row. Maybe he was bored! UNBEATABLE!
This band is my favorite, ( should've searched for a way to get tickets back then, either Rockefeller or Oslo Spectrum, ( meaning a concert with the original crew ), don't get me wrong, they're still my favorite band, but the same feeling I had when I heard the band back then isn't the same as now, the sound, AND the feeling isn't the same. :D

I saw that tour too
@@johnsuttoniiijs That's pathetic and sad if true.
Saw this same bill here in Massachusetts as well. Such a great show and shame that they should have been much bigger. 87 was also great year for music and good times.
I saw them here in Baltimore MD at Meriwether too and what a great concert.
TNT the 80s most amazingly catchy and talented band! You can't beat Tony's voice, Ronni's guitar, Morty's bass, and great drummers always. Now music is so bad that it makes the good music even better. We cherish it more.
TNT are one of the best Norwegian Rock band's of all time.

I don´t believe it! One of my favorite songs in the 80:s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really love 80s style music video atmosphere. And hair hand too.
Hair hand?? Do you have hairy palms?
The Music speak for itself with an American vocalist who have one of the greatest voices on earth:-)
Norway Rocks!
I saw TNT live yesterday:D It was so awesome. Ronni Le Tekrø was the most amazing guitarist I have ever seen
Loved the song and remember it fondly from the days when MTV was actually showing this kind of stuff on a regular basis.
This is such a cool song and Ronni Le Tekrø is an amazing guitar player. I just saw them live in Steinkjer this august and it rocked! I just HAD to headbang to this song! LOL :)

It's a nice beautiful song!!
That's great!
Love this tune. The lead singer has got the best hair in Hair Metal. Not even close!
I saw them touring this album at the original MARQUE CLUB in London - fantastic!!
I remember they were anounced on stage as TNT from Sweden - True!
This band was a flash in the pan. Never before, not now, and never again. Talent is fleeting.
Plenty of talented bands ended up being a "flash in the pan." the 80's were LOADED with great musicians. Things couldn't work out for all of them
+Daniel Tyler Crazy comment dude!!
Great flash and shot!!

any rock song from the 80's is awesome, but to me this one is the best
