I wouldn't say it's dead at all, it has certainly changed but it never died.
I'm 27, this genre never be dead to me.
Its not dead a lot of people still listen to these but they never post it and just kept it
Definitely p-hardcore is not dying anytime soon! At least its influences are deeply rooted into pretty much most of what we know as "metalcore's choruses" which genre is still alive imho
I'll never stop listening to this genre. I'm 30 now and I love the nostalgia of easier times.
33 now and still loving every second of this shit. Definitely find myself needing a break, but not for long. Just hits different. I’ve been heavy into synthwave these days.

That's the most heartwarming bands and a little many others those keep me doing best as I can. Respect for all of them.

This got in my recommended lol. As a kid/teen I would always be into these kinds of bands and this just gave me the most nostalgic feeling for some reason. Made me realize how much people, music and fashion have changed in such little time. Now that I'm in my 20s its very different from when these people were
There are so many damn good bands on this list I had never even heard of before. So many on this list deserve more attention for their talent!!

I love that the algorithm is bringing all the warped tour kids back together ❤️ I miss the era of music so much, I remember every single one of these bands. But alas, we cannot stop the clock from turning. Post-hardcore has a bit of a different sound now, but that's just how music evolves. Now we have bands like Spirit Box, Dayseeker, Eidola and many others keeping the genre alive without it getting oversaturated like it did. ❤️

I can actually appreciate that this video did not include Matty, Jonny or Tyler, but instead a lot bands that did not get as much attention as the legends we all know. Nice video that puts some of the underrated bands in the spotlight.

Really great video review! I'm from Europe, where we were not as widely exposed to this genre of music, but I do see really close similarities between Metalcore and Post-hardcore, ESPECIALLY in the clean/dirty clean Choruses! It's actually like listening to P-hardcore! Thanks for the video anyways, I just don't see it to get outdated anytime soon!!!

Erra I know they're easily the most recognizable due to the albums popularity and the sound the band has. I say technically it is post hardcore but Erra is actually a progressive metalcore band.
