After installing the ridge beam Erin had a mini-stroke and was rushed to the hospital. We are revisiting the way both the channel and the build will continue. For now we are moving forward at a much slower pace. We greatly appreciate your understanding and support as we work towards returning to normal.

After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while building our own debt free, off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.
Our house build is documented entirely on our main channel "Wild Wonderful Off-Grid" and the buiness/work related side of our life can be found on our secondary channel "Josh and Erin- The After Show". Erin, josh have you considered purchasing a defibrillator for your home and one for your vehicle 🤔. They used to be very expensive but nowadays they have come right down in price and knowing that you guy's live miles from anywhere it may be a very good idea to purchase a couple of defibrillators. Better to be safe than sorry. Even though you say it almost a couple of weeks since it happened, please be safe and try to slow down a little. You guy's have a lot on your plate between the new build extension and the cafe then there's the candle making business not to forget the farming side of your life. As always guy's 💯% 👍 🇬🇧 🙏💔❤️‍🩹🙏.

Erin & Josh: do us all a favor and hire a carpenter crew to finish the addition structure. You’ve done more than enough, and you deserve a break from the high, heavy & scary tasks. Your health is more important Erin. Please go slow, rest when needed. I am a registered nurse, in 2010 I almost died, kidney failure after having my gallbladder removed, this stumped the doctors. I spent 2 months in the hospital fighting for my life. I am much better now, and off dialysis. My teams of doctors really fought to keep me alive, but most of all my faith in God healed me. Trust in God and His healing powers, and He will heal you and make you whole. My prayer for you is that God covers and protect you and your family always, and that your health will always be protected, also your husband and children. God blessed

Hi Erin, I had a mini stroke this past October and I am fully recovered. Living in upstate NY I was able to go down to the Columbia University stroke center in the city two days later to meet with some of the best neurologists in the country. I have fully recovered after a month of vestibular physical therapy to recover my balance. Josh used to commute two hours to DC every day. Find a great hospital now and go there. Do not wait 3 months. I have been watching you guys for several years and I love all 5 of you. Saying prayers for your speedy recovery.

I finally got one word out “bye”. I was taken by ambulance immediately to the hospital. After several days as an inpatient I was released and had therapy to do. My mind was alert and I was able to regain speech and vision. I recovered fully and have been on meds since. My lifestyle is good and blessed. I have a full life and appreciate every day. I don’t have any limitations to date. You are a strong and wonderful woman. You are loved and adored for who you are and not just what you do. Take care and go easy on yourself. Much love.

Hawthorn berry tea is great for the circulatory system. Help clean and restore elasticity within that system.
Cayenne is a vascular dilator to help increase blood flow. They will likely push for blood thinners.
Pomegranate juice and dark grape juice are excellent for the blood and circulatory system.
Ashwaganda tea is good herb to reduce stress among many other benefits.
The damage done will heal over time if the stress on the body is reduced enough.
I wish you the best and a speedy recovery.

Having a TIA is nothing to deny. Turning straight to the ER was absolutely the right decision. Knowing there is such a thing as a TIA is important to begin with. The fact you're on here, being very honest about it, is going to save some one someday. I hope the care you're getting makes a good determination on what the cause was and how best to move forward. I hope you and your family all have a long healthy life ahead of you.

My grandmother had TIAs her whole life, but was still the first one down the sledding hill with her kids, the one who hit the ball so far they couldn't find it at the office picnic, and the one who got on the back of the 4 wheeler she rented me on Daytona Beach when she was in her 70s.
My mom was entirely used to finding her on the floor as a girl, and then my grandmother getting back up and carrying on with cooking or laundry or whatever.

We where warned on the back channels of this in 2020 form Drs. And we tried to warn people but they thought we where insane anti-vaxers.. I feel for you all❤. Please start detoxing and taking Ivermectin, NO Stress, clean the body of all processed foods and I truly believe Coffee is a bad Idea, it stimulates the nervous system way too much and drains your Adrenals, which can lead to neurological problems among other problems. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Erin, I'm so sorry that this happened to you. As soon as Josh said you've had too much going on, I immediately said out loud, "Yep." I had already thought that while watching previous videos. Being ambitious is one thing, but your body may be trying to tell you that you've taken on TOO many responsibilities. Please allow yourself to slow down and relax more. Aside from that, I love the channel! I just found you yesterday and have already watched more than 40 videos! Be safe and well, take care of yourself ❤

YES Movin...they did say they all took the shots@@movinngroovin2104...and for those like me who never did... 'shedding' onto us from those who did take it is talked about in their patents. This may be why I was dx'd with lung cancer and MS - at the same time - at the age of 65 !!!!

No they did@@russelltackett4779 I was there for the video where they told us they rec'd them. You'd have to go back about 2 yrs. so it will be difficult to find. I was quite sad for them knowing the science behind it all and was worried that something like this would happen. Hopefully, this is the only issue they will end up with. That's why I mentioned IVERMECTIN... it works, as there are parasites in the vials as proven... and why they outlawed it.

Greetings from across the pond guys. So sorry to hear about your health scare Erin, had a similar scare with my wife a few years ago. positive thinking and family support are key to a speedy recovery. It sounds like you have the same problems as we have with our Health Service, over worked and under funded. So pleased that you look so well after what will have been a very scary event. I have followed you you guys from day one so like others have said, feel like you're almost family. On a different note, received my candle from you (with shipping to England its the most expensive candle I have ever bought) but more than happy to support your efforts, and it smells wonderful. Please take care.

I had a mini stroke (TIA) over 15 years ago. I have my 80th birthday in a couple of weeks and I live an active life with no recurrence of the TIA. I take the medication I am supposed to and follow a healthy regime. Please don't worry Erin - everything will be fine. Its a wake up call - that is all. Love your show and am rather jealous of the life you and your lovely family lead. Keep going! Edwar4 from the UK

I've had 3 TIA's to date. They are scary and sudden but no discernable damage. My prayers are with you. Per my doctors, I have a 50% blockage on the left side of my neck. If they didn't find anything with MRI's and such, it will probably not happen again, or there is a partial clot somewhere else. PS, I'm almost 70 and really enjoy your videos.

Love your family and enjoy each episode and your projects, been watching you build the original house and now the addition. Will pray for your complete recovery. Erin, people will call me crazy for telling you this, but I don't really care anymore. Take some time out alone and ask "out loud" your angels, your team, for guidance and to help you navigate this. I did this recently with a personal problem of mine and within hours I had the first sign show up. It was undeniable from my perspective. And a few days later came another major sign and help. Also send them the joy and love in thanks in advance. They love that. I wish you all the best. (I a side note as I proof read this it brings tears to my eyes what they did for me. I won't go into it here but I have been touched deeply by this experience.) Much love to you.

I experienced this with my wife. Be patient, I know it's hard, it's going to seem like the doctors don't care because the appointments are going to be far away, but it's because they are so busy not because they don't want to help and get to a diagnosis, but that is certainly how it feels at the moment. The good thing is you are recovering, so like they say, just keep an eye on yourself. We are praying for Erin and hope the worst is over.
