Fair statement and you are right. We cannot offer the engine completely pre-assembled due to product liability and many other regulations here in Germany. If it is offered as a kit, the liability does not lie with us as the manufacturer. We have to take this into account. We simply cannot offer the engine at this price. Find Hansen's aim was always to run the engine as slowly as possible and that is also our aim. And I can say that it is a pleasure to watch the engine idling smoothly and slowly.

In all my engine videos, I love the sound of engines and slow idling as well. My hat is off to you sir, we watch your efforts with interest and appreciate your reply! Vielen Dank!

Forgive me for my colourful characterization of German engineers as perfectionists! There's much to be proud of in that reputation :)

@@ThomasPCGuruENGINES I am absolutely fine with it! Had to laugh when you said "NEIN", perfectly pronounced btw!

Yes, it is. Even more so if/when it goes. Marketed as "educational toy"

I would pay $1600 for that outstanding quality product. Frankly its wrong to pay full price and be the lab rats for the product that dont even work right out of the box .
I think there is a differnce between inspired ( with respect to the original design that he legally aquired )and stolen design which seems to be in this case with chinese model 😅

Ok, I'll think about that...I'm not sure about stolen but I do feel lab ratty, and not happy. I need to keep the manufacturer on board for now tho' so I will be chill. I do value you guys comments and opinions. Thanks for moderating your comment :)

@@vellamechanicalservices6836 Wow, I haven't seen your engines before. Fantastic work and the engines run very nicely!
Solid engineering and i guess without rubber piston rings...
I am not against these rings, they are ok for slow running petrol engines with low compression, but not for a diesel engine.

@@niffi2 Thanks for your comment and for choosing to check on my content. Yes, rather than using rubber piston rings I chose to use cast iron rings. Even the piston and the cylinder are cast iron. It is similar to what Find Hansen himself explained. Always feel free to comment on anything else.
