I was so pleased to see you back in Ned and alson in Fred, and the huge displays so well look after as it show that despite your increasing age you have lost none of you junior interests.. Well done.! You have inspired and entertained for a long time now and show no signs of them diminishing. Thought: With the value of the combined sheds ever increasing, I hope you have them fully insured! Lol Rob
Love the Redex remember when you used to get shots of it free it was always next to the pumps that was the time when petrol was 6/8pba gallon. I love your collection, great video thank you.
When I lived in Scotland I went to an auction for an old repair garage that was closing down. I bought a big old work bench for 3 quid and found when I went to collect it that it also came with all the contents. There were various tins of lubricants, grinding paste, underseal, funnels etc etc. A few items I have never been able to identify.
Very interesting collection. When I was a young teen, I started collecting Beer cans. [ it was quite popular in the 1970’s]. Now I collect vintage radios. [ and like you, on a budget.] Very cool to see all of these items. 📻🙂
Superb video brilliantly presented. I do like the "Ned & Fred" updates. Seeing the engine head reminded me that we haven't had a fitness video with carparts and other assorted heavy objects in quite a while. Seeing the collection of lamps made me wonder how much plastic wrapping would be involved if you bought a dozen equivalent lamps today. You've done really well with your collection and I think you could start charging admission soon.
Great collection there Harley, When i started working in a garage in the early 70s Redex was 1d a shot, then when we increased it to 2d people were outraged! 😂😂
Your collection in both sheds has multiplied nicely, Harley. I love to watch these videos from you and your dad's collections of "stuff" as I've seen very little UK/European articles in the US. Thanks for hanging the plates I sent and glad you especially like the "Hooters" plate. 🙂 That one is actually dated and has a bit of collector value I suppose, but it looks great in the shed. Good luck with saving for the car, my first car didn't happen till I was 24, out of college and earning an almost living wage! Cheers!
Harley, the sheds are looking great! I've been going through snaps., and found some with the tuneman plates on my 98 Land Rover Disovery, and the Midget, with it's p wee mg plates. I even found one with the Avanti and the RSX new mexico plates. If you'd like them, I'll stick them in an envelope, and send them along! Thought they might be nice to display with the plates.
I imagine you can’t wait to start driving on the road. I wonder what would be your dream vehicle but what would you realistically be looking for. This would make another great video actually. Good skills.
@@jut20five my dream first car would be something like a MK1 mx5, but insurance is crazy as I mentioned so that probably won't be possible. There is one type of car we are looking at currently, I'm sure when I get on the road I can feature it!
@@CarTractionvids cool , I shall look forward to it. Thanks for replying and it would be fantastic to hear your views on your up and coming driving career! I was behind the wheel at an early age too . I learned how (not) to drive on a Kubota mini tractor and drove all sorts before I was 15. Dumper trucks, caterpillars ,pick ups …. My Dad was the warden of Petts Wood for the national trust so 600 acres to play in. Very lucky lad.
Wednesday? Nearly caught me unawares. Nifty bit of reversing on the OCC channel by the way Harley and an interesting collection of interesting bits and bobs there. Redex, I still use that from time to time.
@@CarTractionvids Hey Harley! I've sent a bit more towards your first car and the extortionate insurance premium! I will send a little more in the future as long as you assure me that it goes for this purpose and not to buy more trinketry for the sheds......
Fred and Ned’s sheds remind me so much of my Granddad’s shed in the 1960’s. Very fond memories.❤

Haha I might have to resurrect the steering column pull up bar one day, thanks
Great!
Thanks for sharing your shed contents - always a fascination for old codgers like me, and so much more quality than today's plastic rubbish.
Nice😎☺️

What a fantastic collection Harley ❤ thanks so much for sharing. Any updates or progress on your standard 8?
I'm afraid it hasn't appeared much recently, as nothing has gone wrong with it! At the moment it seems fairly reliable 😊
@@CarTractionvids They're great little cars. So over looked as a classic. I'm loving my 10, there's videos of it on my channel if you're interested 🙂
