Another great video MJ. As always, you covered a lot of ground as far as the potential uses for the particular product you’re presenting. I especially liked your idea to use green for the trail leader and red for the trail sweeper while having all others displaying blue as personal locators. Another use for the different colors would be for large public events where you could have security agents with one color, EMT or First Aid personnel with a different color, and perhaps information agents (“Ask Me”), with a third color.

I love these! I spend a lot of time outdoors at night for a variety of reasons. I would use these for headlamps, locator beacons, hazard markers, and even party lights.

This light will be a perfect addition to my flashlight collection. All twelve of my flashlights are from Nitecore and no other brands come close. I'm a firm believer in Nitecore to the day I die and beyond! This channel is amazing for information and tips for flashlight selection, I wanna thank MJ for helping me find the perfect flashlights for my needs! I would use the nu06for my camping trips to illuminate my backpack and other gear if I set it down.and my bike rides through the forest to be seen by others.
As usual another great video MJ extoling the virtues of the Nitecore personal safety products, giving all the information of each different item and how each has been significantly improved over the previous version following input from external sources and even exceeding these with this beautiful NU06LE and the various options for mounting to equipment.
I would love one of these for walking my dog, who being a terrier does like to explore and with this now being able to be more securely attached to his collar, I would be able to allow him to follow his nose: the different colours available would also allow me to configure a suitable choice should another dog have a similiar colour showing, very simple but well thought out by Nitecore.
Man, these are perfect for so many uses! I live in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. where we have dark winter days with short daylight periods, and where it rains and is overcast much of the year. Would keep at least one in each car and use for walking the dog and exercise walks for me and my wife. Glad you have a multiple unit discount! Thank you for moving to USB C also! Great video! I don't have a use for all your lights just some but I still end up watching all the videos so informative! So glad a new version of this light is out! I almost bought the NU07 but held out because I wanted a smaller version. I'm glad I did! I plan to use these for my hikes, camping, riding my bike at night, and even putting them on my kids for when we are trick or treating on Halloween!
Its the kind of light I’ve been waiting for. I commute everyday to work using motorbike & I find it helpful just to clip it at the back of my backpack. It helps when I’m riding early morning when it is still very foggy over a bridge & visions for drivers/riders arent that good. So it definitely helps with visibility. It also helps during the rainy days. Been using the NU05, so quite curious to see how this will work for the better.

I'm really appreciate for the 3 x Nitecore bike lights recently purchased & my family of 4 can go cycling in the night without fear of unforseen situation & this NU06 looks really nice for my daughter's room as she's afraid of dark so can use this small light throughout the night without the need to buy a lamp & fear of forgetting to switch off the power b4 leaving the room.

I love gadgets and Nitecore products are brilliant. I would use this for night hikes and runs. I would put these on my dogs' vests too so I can locate them much easier at night while running or hiking.

I would put this light on my bag when I am moving around in darkness especially outdoor to illuminate my position with everyone nearby.This also can be my rechargeable keychain beacon light that can be useful during emergency situation such as car breakdown. Very good implementation and a real alternative to glow sticks. I would use it privately for hiking and mountaineering, but it would also be very practical for duty.

Mj back at it again with a great video. Honestly I'm not a super tactical person but this would be so good outdoors. I would use it as a running beacon for safety cause some roads here in Malaysia are dark and can get pretty dodgy to jogging at night/early morning.
Man with the constant on, it can even be used as like my camp light since it should be bright enough to look around the tent. Hell I could even put one in my bag as a tiny lamp to look for items in my bag. Can do literally anything with this light dude!
Perfect little marker light to add to my bag when out on my early morning walks.

I love the new mounting options. I am a volunteer SAR member and this would replace my 05LE which I use as a safety light on my vest. But also thinking about adding one to my helmet.
Fantastic little light. Could really come handy here in Queensland, Australia. We're facing one of the biggest floods in history at the moment and to be seen at night is also crucial during our efforts to help with evacuation and bringing supplies. People here are really struggling, the government literally doing very little to help. I use my trusty MS12S, which is great, but sometimes you just need something as small as this that can be attached to a range of things.

it still too bright for tactical.
I bought two Nu05 for our baby buggy last month. I missed the constant red light there. The new NU06 would be now perfect for this use case, even more with the new mounts.
I love the new NU06 LE’s versatility, for use as a beacon, or close distance flood light!
Amazing how Nitecore keeps upgrading and invent new uses and better runtimes. Would use it in Hammock adentures. 15 Lumens in a HAmmock is great and enough light to read etc. Thanks for another nice explanation from your "Mancave".

I would definitely use this light for hiking, camping, fishing or just about any rugged adventure. This looks to be a fantastic light with a variety of applications. Many led colored lights for solid and flashing, recharagable battery with usb C, massive 75 hour run time, and versatility of flashing lights and combinations!
Im a heavy wrecker operator and light like that would go along way in keeping me safe while working on the side of the road.

As a civilian, I will use that to make me more visible when I go back to night shift and/or walking at night. Also during hiking and camping trips where it's dark and we need to be visible. Since that thing is also magnetic, it can also be used when our old car gets in a predicament and needs to have assistant blinkers.
Philippines is hit by many storms, earthquakes, and other disasters. That small tiny light can and will come in handy as an emergency light and beacon. The water proofing on that thing is also a massive + because the country is mostly flooded during storm season.
Here in the Philippines there are portions of walk ways where pedestrians share lanes with bikes and kick scooters. The roads and side walks here are somewhat chaotic. Maybe attach that on my backpack or traps of my messenger and sling bags. Since it's colorful, I can use it anywhere.

Oh wow. Nice little light. Personally, I'll use this more than the handheld ones. Specially when doing chores in the dark, and fixing stuff like motorcycle and car. This is one handy light.

Wow, exactly the light I need! No need for 1000 lumens (wanting to get a new Nitecore for that), but I do use all colors (both steady and flashing) for work as signals, can use red or white as a reading light, mark myself if needed when walking along dark paths and as a great bike light going home after work. Also useable if working at a large event as a medic (my side gig). All together the ultimate light for me!

This would be an amazing light to have inside all my packs in order to help see what's in them at night without whipping out a flashlight. Bonus is being able to throw it on the outside of your pack when needed

This is a highly multi-purpose flashing light. I would definitely love a flashing light for my night hiking coupled with my Fenix e12 v2.

Great video and review man! Definitely something that I could use since I bike alot and visibility can be quite an issue. GIven how versatile it is, I could easily swap it out for other uses such as hiking etc. Magnetich backplate will definitely help especially if you have a stalled car, similar to my nitecore hc35, perfect companion !
This is EXCELLENT! I'd like to put that in a transparent bear canister when on a backpacking trip. When the canister gets pushed around by the bears and lost in the weeds it can be found easily. Doubles as a locator beacon when lost.

Seems like a great attachment to my hard hat especially as an auxiliary/beacon going to tight or confined space especially in the dark.

Looks like an ideal for paramotor wing beacon lightings. We normally need them for few hours spanning but brightness need to be extra..
Will probably use this for camp when in a camp as when i take a group for a camp or a camp hike, we always loose and mix up our team, others tried to use conor torchlight/flashlight but always lost them, not only that, most light are just the usaul white and the other were red but was quite bulky, and imagine us carring a file, pens, clipboard, and then a light I know people who tried to attach to the back of their bag but it always drop .So this will be very useful and during camp as i can easiely mount it on my back and tell my team to follow the "color". We also I will probably not have time or i will forget to charge.

Nice. I already own several NU05 and 07s and LE versions. Great lights. Happy to see usb c has been addressed on the NU06LE. The rubber flap I think is flimsy. Would have been better to have a closed rubber slot. Happy to hear light can continue under continuous usb c charging. Form factor and sizes are great. Looking forward to the mounts, however in my view the three mounts could just as well be combined to one universal mount to save on parts. I've noticed the more parts, I throw away 50% of the parts, because they're often too redundant and I lose reserve unused small parts quickly. To make the light more complete I would have like to see a few more improvements. 1. Have 2 extra light modes where all colored lights could blink at once, for a party mode. 2. Have two white and two red-light with the one blue and green. 3. Have a setting where we change the red light interval a bit more. Preferably the next steps: a. Continuous red b. One second red flash intermittently c. One red blink every 1 second d. Two blinks every 1-2 seconds e. One red blink every 3 seconds. Lastly, would be nice if the unit was low maintenance by easily being able to replace the battery after a few years of use when the battery has degraded too much.
I showed my friend one of the previous Shorts you did and now we wanna try go night hiking. Maybe will try go Bukit Batok Nature Park sometime soon. Now we just need the lights😅. Think this NU06 is gonna be useful.

I am presently using 4 of the NU05 while on search and rescue missions. I wear two and my K9 has two on his collar. But I had to modify the way of mounting them while on my K9’s collar. Questions are are they anymore visible from the sides and about how far can the be seen verses the ones I presently use. I was hoping to see in your video a side view with them on but so close but just not enough of a view. The run time is so much better so I will be purchasing them to replace my older ones possibly more of them though. We spend a lot of time out in the desert close to Mexico and I need lights that can help me keep tract of my K9 in case his gps fails. The same for me incase something happens to me. It might sound nuts me using them on my K9 but after a lot of checking these were the best signal lights I was able to find anywhere. Thanks
