I love rotary watches , I've been buying them since my dad had one many years ago . And when he past away in 2010 , I buy them in the memory of him
I have 4 Rotary Henley gmt's. Sapphire Crystal, Solid stainless steel. Ceramic bezels, 100m water resistant. Solid watches, Never let me down, And the finish is excellent!
I also have 2 Rotary Oxford's again sapphire Crystal. Stainless Steel, water resistant, These however are on Genuine calf leather straps with a stainless steel buckle. I'm currently thinking about the Heritage range next.
These Rotary Watches are extremely reliable Watches, And very stylish! Even their homages have a slight change in design that makes them unique! Most of these watches are around the £200 range.. Some a little more. But in my opinion, You get fantastic quality at an affordable price! Accurate time keeping, They use the Miyota movement, But some like the les originales range still use Swiss movements and are Swiss made. But the others like Henley, Oxford, Cambridge etc are made in the UK 🇬🇧 👍
@Chris QDG Beautiful! 👍
I have one of their 'elite' branded watches, which uses the excellent eta 2824 - 2 auto movement. Even though it's not the cosc grade, it has proved accurate and 100% reliable during the 26 years I've worn it.
5 days into no shave November and Jake's beard is looking nice!
Cool video, keep them coming!
@Strahinja Stra Bojat Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the informative video. Do you know something about the brand Exactus? It's also an old swiss brand but unfortunately I couldn't find any information about it.
The first watch I bought with my own money was a 1981 Rotary Quartz Day-Date, I was 15. Back then, "quartz" was cool, mechanical was old-fashioned. A fantastic watch I kept for around a decade, until it was stolen. I changed the original leather strap for a metal strap with a fantastic clasp, paying all in all OS 2000 (that's Austrian Schillings), $ 462 in 2021 US Dollars adjusted for inflation.
i have 9ct gold watch by rotary I've had it since i was 21 I'm now 51 i bought a lovely 9ct gold strap which was hand made in birmingham jewellery quarter its lovely dress watch that keeps perfect time and the battery normally lasts for good two years
Great video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
I’m in my 60’s and only just acquired two 1960’s Rotary’s here in London UK, wouldn’t think they were top of the range, they are basic models.
I can't seem to find information on a rotary night & day watch but I just saw you have a picture showing as your video is running with the man talking at the same time. I've had this watch for 12 years now. It was presented to me after 25 years+ working in a garage. Lovely looking watch but the 2 batteries don't last very long. I've rarely worn it as frightened of scratching it. I've been trying to find out how to fit new batteries in as when I sent it back to rotary they fixed the winder (which has came out again when putting to winter time in October) and put 2 new batteries in apparently cleaned it, I only have ever wore it about 10 times at Christmas works out evenings and so only worn it for about 30hours at the most, it still looks like brand new.
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Rotary has some nice watches but often their more sold models are those huge quartz models. Hopefully they will focus more on automatic movements with better sizes.
Rotary certainly makes beautiful watches - key word being 'beautiful'. Regrettably, I have two of their midrange watches that worked fine only while they were under warranty. Once they were out of warranty, the watches just went crazy and eventually died.
Two watches are enough lessons for me to keep my distance and admire Rotary watches from a safe distance.
Rotary fits my all. I like to wear low end of high end if that makes sense. That middle class I can afford more and switch things up. I would be able to buy a rolex and then appear at work with dry bread for the next 2 years but I like cheese
Love the cheese refrence lmao
I found the Star Wars Darth Watch the other day. Didn’t realize how great of a watch company Rotary was
How can I get that cabinet behind you. Some help
I found an old rotary watch that I can't find on the internet wondering if you could help me identify what year and model please

What games do you play on that computer
I play the occasional Dino Runner when the internet goes down 🤙
I had 5 rotary watches all were brilliant. High quality lower price point and very robust
It just says rotary San Marco no other marking or numbers and on the back it says Swiss with a stamp 9k gold plated
This beats talking about Rolexes
We couldn't agree more 👍
I wish I could grow a beard like Jake
gosh dam do you have $100 toothpaste or do you just paint them pearls
@MrIanD #filters
Rotary watch ? Never heard of them are they still in making them today ?
@sol star Yes, they're still manufacturing them! 👍
You look a little like Aquaman. Hope your watches are waterproof
They have Japanese quartz movements in there new watches... I don’t support Swiss brands that do that
Once over Rotary USED to make great watches.. Sadly the Rotary watch name has lost its way slightly ..
You are better off buying a Seiko or a Citizen ..You are getting a much better watch for the same money.
The Seiko 5 is a MUCH better timepiece.
Hm depends. Those Rortary Seven divers for under £200 have an NH35 and sapphire, and better specs than any Seiko in that price
