I can't stand Emceemur...a seller could have Super Mario RPG for a dollar and he would haggle them down to a quarter and if they don't budge on his offer he would get mad

That guy that kept pestering the seller about those board games was being a little jerk. He kept asking, what's your price how, how much for it all, I gotta go, I got people waitin' in the car, I don't got time, being all pushy. He needs to understand that if he want's something on someone else's property on there time, it's not about him! He showed up at his place and the seller wants market value for his stuff which is 100% understandable. You can't get a deal on every single thing you buy.
You're right. He was trying to get the seller to slip in a very lame and stupid way. All these resellers just make me mad. I also hate when resellers start talking crap about the condition of the games in front of the sellers face. They don't care about finding cool that they want. They rely completely on ignorance and guilt tripping. It's pathetic!

I feel bad for actual collectors. I can never justify paying over $100 over data. I use to collect manga & videos games but I’m glad it was a short phase. The only time I was close to dropping crazy money was for earthbound but someone want exactly $400 I said nope have a good day & still sitting on OfferUp for 2 years & keeps promoting it lol
Haha yeah man it’s just a disc with some data or a chip inside of some plastic. I could understand buying sealed stuff for expensive prices but not for no dang old cartridge that was worthless for decades.
Except earthbound can go upwards of 6-700$ for cart only. And it's between 2-3k dollars complete.

I was there for 15-20 min just simply waiting for a price. Your comments are completely incorrect. This is an edited video I edited the waiting. It is kind of common to be able to get a price on an item at garage sales. I waited patiently and I was not pushy. I also didn’t talk crap about his items. I simply asked for a price. You speak of common sense often. Common sense tells me that if you put an item out out a garage sale to sell it then you may want to have a price in mind. You are right. It is his item and his prerogative to sell it or not sell it or to price it as he chooses. I simply asked for a price and never got it.

Apparently, the UA-cam algorithm is determined to keep showing me more and more horrible resellers that top the previous thing, or at least on par
Each new reseller is worse than the last. This is one of the worst examples of greed I've seen.
I need to find that video of CATRP paying some kid more at the garage sale. It's one of the few examples of a reseller not being a cheapskate overly greedy POS.

@@steviefreakinc It was from a while ago. He paid some kid more than asking for a 3DS. Was just refreshing compared to a lot of the others who are just pure greed. Chase is methodical, sure, but he's running a business compared to some of these selfish dudes ripping off kids and old ladies.

This reminds me of when I sold my retrotink 2x mini on ebay (I upgraded to the 5x). I listed it for about $140, since they weren’t being made anymore and prices were in that ballpark.
I got a message from someone who pulled some of the same tactics as these resellers. They scoffed at the price and wanted me to sell it to them for like half off, kept telling me how it wasn’t worth that much and they were giving me a good deal, and saying I’d never sell it at my asking price. They got so insistent that I blocked them.
About 1-2 weeks later I sold it for my original asking price. The buyer was very happy with it. Go figure!
the launch day version of wii sports is rarer because baseball does not have the cutscene where all the miis look at each other. speedrunners have made that version of the game stupid expensive

I would say a good 50% of the time loose Wii's have a Wii Sports inside. When it comes to those kids though, where's the parent that bought the storage unit? Why didn't they check to see if a game was inside? I'm not a huge Emceemur fan but what if the console didn't turn on? He still is taking that risk. It's tax free cash situation at a flea. Your supposed to pay a percentage of Ebay "solds". Also the parents that bought the storage unit might have made out like bandits themselves.

To be fair I don't think $5 for a Wii wasn't bad, given that it was missing a few covers, and some cords to test it -- for all he knows it may or may not work. People are practically giving Wii's away because they're upgrading to the Switch these days.

The first guy seems really scummy talking about how he likes to see kids make deals for themselves and then after getting a decent offer from a kid, he then offers that kid considerably less. How is that supporting kids making deals when the kid offers a deal that would be good for both of them and then he offers the kids less than that just to make the deal better for him and worse for the kid? It sounds more like he enjoys seeing kids try to make deals because he thinks he can rip them off. That dude offering $40 like it was a good deal comes across as ridiculous because there are copies of Suikoden V and King's Field: The Ancient City on the table and those games each normally sell in the $70-$80 range. Kudos to that guy in the next video for seeing through that reseller's tactics and not letting him take advantage of him. For the guy in boat shoes going through boxes in a condemned house, has he not considered that the game cases in an environment like that probably aren't sanitary because a place like that is probably filled with rat feces? It's one thing if he wants to take a risk for his own personal collection, but those things are probably so dirty that it would be unethical to sell them to someone else because it could make people sick.
Resellers don't care, they put on a front like they do, like they're helping the market get games circulating, yet they're charging maximum dollar and in some cases they increase the price for the heck of it. Or like in the last video I did, he raised the Xenosaga trilogy price from $400 to $450 because he's the only US Seller at the moment. How can you be part of a collecting hobby where your only contribution is making the hobby harder for other people in the name of Greed? It's ridiculous. I think you're definitely right about Emceemur wanting to deal with kids because he can rip them off. For the dude that offered $40 for the games, he owns a pawn shop, so I think he only knew a little about games so I give him a pass for not knowing about Suikoden and stuff. He knew Zelda and Mario, that's about it lol. He even mentions this in his video when he gets back to the shop. Definitely check it out for some closure.

After watching some more videos of his, I appreciate the pointing out of shady resellers blatantly ripping people off. The ones in this video were especially bad people. If you treat people fairly they will still give you a good deal.

Coming back to this video after watching your last video about this guy. This is worse than any reseller that is out there even phoenix resale gets more respect. Those where kids I would have tipped them to help them buy new games for themself.
I agree it's dumb to go through a condemned house looking for games, but man it's nice to see those game saved. me personally I would've grabbed every single game in site.

The one thing I will say in (sorta) defense of Commonwealth Picker, is that it is slightly annoying when people put stuff out and don’t know what they want for it. That being said, he’s acting like a complete jerk to the guy running the sale. Like, just leave, move on to the next sale…

The kids one was disgusting, but the guy who dealt with those old people was a giant prick! The first game he picked up was worth just paying for every game indavidually as priced and the other table had an N64 and controllers worth morre than 40. he knew they didn't know what they had and to most of us thats the deal of a life time and we would have happily payed the asking prrice and his first thought was trying to get it cheaper and then act virtous offering double the low price.

It's called a flea market for a reason. People sell at said flea markets expecting to be negotiated down from their asking price. That's the whole point. Weather the deal is good as is or not, haggling is 100% acceptable AND EXPECTED at a flea market. You and anyone else would do the EXACT same thing. It doesn't matter if its a kid or not. You also need to understand when you buy something at a flea market specially systems, there's a 50% chance it's not going to work. So the idea is to get it as cheap as you can because you're taking that risk and you can't just return it if it doesn't work. This video just sounds like you, complaining because you can't get deals like that and you're mad he got these deals. Also sorry to break this reality to you EVERY game collector/ person who buys games is a re seller in some forum. You buy something and sell it? It makes you a re seller. Instead of being clearly jealous go out and do the work and you can get these deals if not better for yourself.
