This whole vibe of how he "threw away his life with one bad decision" is so insane to me. He got drunk, kicked in someone's door and shot someone to death. It isn't like he spilled some milk that someone then slipped in when he didn't clean it up.
He details an entire “adult” life thus far of bad decisions: failing to take his medication, drinking instead, buying and trading in guns despite his chronic “anger issues”… he was a rage-shooting waiting to happen.
Nothing has scared me more than waking up and wondering why my knuckles were scabbed up and then not remembering a thing from the evening before. I was a happy drunk that made people laugh until I wasn't and failed miserably trying to control it by quitting for the evening when my mind went to a dark place where someone could say hi Dave and I'd read into it too far. With help from those I physically and mentally hurt I was able to quit. I've beaten crack, heroin, alcohol but only after hurting a lot of people and could have never done it without help. From random people in the DC jail who helped me get into work release 34 years ago to my buddies who quit drinking liquor so as to not tempt me and put our friendship first I realize how lucky I am to have these people be a part of who I am today. Thanks.
Man, I am three years clean of alcohol and meth. I would also go to dark places as well. Burglarized my next door neighbor's house, first and only charge. Went to six treatments, feel blessed to be off that.
Going to prison for the rest of his life at 19 might suck but on the bright side it'll be a pretty short sentence if the AB find out he was falsely claiming to be one of them.
I agree for the most part, but he seemed confused about the exact ingredients of his burrito. That’s important sheeit when you’re trying to wrangle your way out of a murder rap.
How many times does he say I was "drunk" or "I was drinking". Blaming all of his actions and alcohol, like it's gonna make a difference at sentencing. What a loser.
Alcohol was a deciding factor in his actions for sure!! But it definitely doesn't excuse them one bit! The idiot summed it up best, "He's just a dumb ass"
He won't be happy, but I think that he would need a more functional frontal lobe to be capable of the kind of perspective and self awareness, that you are imagining. In the long run, this is the kind of guy, who often ends up sort of thriving in an institutionalized setting. I mean if you told me that this guy had sustained a significant head injury. I would believe you. I don't know that he was capable of taking care of himself really. If it wasn't this. It would have been something. Thank God he was too stupid to get away with it.
Life in prison.. first degree murder ... Clearly no intent .Means his lawyer is a public defender and didn't give a sh+t .. people teach your kids that drinking is always bad. It's not cool any manly and over rated
@@Jehannum2000 I’m guessing by shots, he was referring to rounds (bullets). Also, there’s no gun in the world that will hold 12 rounds in the chamber, every single gun can only hold ONE round in the chamber. Not 12. The chamber is at one end of the barrel where a round (bullet) slides into from the magazine to then be fired out the barrel. No gun can hold 12 rounds in the chamber… it’s impossible.
Sounds like his entire community is infected with gun culture. The way he carries the flippant attitude towards carrying it around like a toy and his friends are all threatening to shoot each other and his other friend randomly shoots into bushes, yeehaw. Gun nuts have kids and pass along this carefree attitude to them. Pew pew, into the floor, take that cletus!
Lmao 😂 In all seriousness, everything in capitalist society is run by money. If there is no monetary consequence then nothing changes. No one is for abolishing police, defunding them is a colloquialism for regulating how that money is spent on training/mental health examinations/hiring etc. Tightening the wallet means the money gets spent better and not wasted on lawsuits and whatnot.
Love the channel. That said, the title was a bit click-baitish, as there isn't a moment where you get to see the guy realize he's going to prison for life. A brief glimpse of him in court, but he has no idea of his fate throughout this video.
I've learned that anybody who automatically says "i work my ass off" if asked if they work tend to be the laziest people on the job who do the minimum and complain constantly
@@j.sargent9172 That's what got me thinking. It seems like emotional immaturity, ego & possibly some narcissism are a big factor in why these guys do such asinine things & then they & their victims have to pay for it for decades. Me & my friends were big Vodka drinkers at his age too but we had an innate standard whereby we'd pride ourselves in doing the right thing. It's like in the present day things are reversed. Kicking people's doors in & discharging firearms like a maniac wouldn't be something we'd even think about doing let alone do it.
@carpathianken yeah, definitely ego and narcissism play a part. Seems like the younger generation have a lot of that, humility and empathy are a thing of the past because of the way social media is defining our lives. Me and my friends were wild but definitely weren't kicking doors and shooting, just typical partying teenagers
@@j.sargent9172 Absolutely. You know what I'm talking about. I actually steer clear of social media. I got kicked off of Facebook for offending some people on a Cardinal George Pell support page during his trial by asking the... Question- *"What's the easiest way to get a nun pregnant?"* Answer - *"Dress her up as an altar boy"* & I never signed back up to Facebook since, regardless of how many people try to convince me to. With so much negativity within Facebook I figure why bother. It seems like this current generation lack strong parenting & role models too. When I was growing up I aspired to be like people such as Arnold Schwarzenegger (Except for when he had that affair with his maid behind his wife's back) Fit, strong, hard working & healthy during the week & on the weekends have fun & eat & drink whatever we liked. These days it's like these guys are drawn through social media into being gansters & thugs & think they'll weasel out of their lousy behaviour .
This is the reason I could never be a detective. I’d actually speak this thought! While the interrogations would be entertaining, all the cases would be thrown out 😂
Yep. Also, when he first describes breaking into the domicile, he begins saying he "kicked down/open the FUCKING door" but stops himself, probably censoring his pleasure in the memory in front of the officer. Little shit.
Don't forget her family. She had a newborn baby who will NEVER have the chance to know her mother and she also had parents who lost a daughter. Maybe brothers and sisters. My mom lost her father to a murderer at 28 (my mom was 28 when her father was murdered by a stranger who then committed suicide). She is now 83 and she's never gotten over it. I never had the chance to meet my grandfather but I have felt the loss of never knowing him. Murder has a domino effect and it's like the ripples on a pond.

I wonder what it feels like the next day when you wake up in a 4x9 cell, the drugs are leaving your body fast and you realize you are NEVER getting out of prison for the rest of your life. DONT DO DRUGS KIDS!!!
I spent one night in Marion County lockup in Indianapolis, all I did was argue with a cop who was arresting my friend (for pissing behind a bar). Anyway that one night was enough to convince me I never wanted to go to jail again, let alone prison. I legit would rather be dead than incarcerated for long.
Shit I've been to jail a couple times and the longest I did was like 60days, every single day felt like eternity and I swear I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy so I couldn't even imagine being there for life Omg!!!!! 60days was too long!!!
Dangerous on alcohol, yes. I don't think he's too dangerous when sober. There are alot of people like this that know they can't touch alcohol because the chances of them doing something really stupid while drunk goes up like 99%...

Or not even being able to go 15 minutes before crying like a schoolgirl. (Sorry to any schoolgirls that may read this but I'm not sure what else would be an apt analogy to describe his behaviour)
Wow! Not too long ago I was roommatiing with an old ex he ended up drinking some moonshine at a friend's, came home ended up throwing me to the ground outside straddling me and put in a knife to my chest threatening to kill me. I finally talked him down, cops were called he went to jail couple days later he called me and asked me why he's in jail and what happened? We had never had an argument or altercation before. Apparently the moonshine erased the whole situation out of his head. What affected me the most was I realized that he could have killed me and not even remember what he did
Anthony did not throw away his life based on 1 bad decision. 1. He decided to get drunk, when he says he doesn’t drink often. 2 hanging around with a person he thinks is a bad liar and whatever else( he has nothing good to say about her) 3 going to house that he says he has no idea why they went there 4 being drunk and letting someone else make decisions for you. 5 deciding to have someone else make decisions for you and you decide to act. He decided to kick in a door after he knocked and saw there was people in the house, 6 so instead of waiting he kicked in the door of a house he did not recognize 7 after kicking in the door he decided to chase whomever he saw downstairs. 8 he decided to get into a verbal altercation and maybe a little physical with the person he chased downstairs, 9 he pulled a gun on a second individual to keep the person away 10 he decided that he needed to prove himself in some way, or scare the individual with the tattoos. 11 to prove himself a “tough guy” he decided to take a shot at a door. 12 when leaving the residence he said when he got back upstairs he shot twice more into the floor. 13 And his worst decision was made early in the night, he armed himself and then went drinking. So Anthony did not throw his life away on 1 decision. He made at the very least, probably 50 decisions if not more. His fault, hope he has fun in jail.
I was in a 12 man cell in Jackson Michigan with this guy... he legitimately thought he was going to get 10 years and in Michigan 1st degree murder is mandatory life with no parole and that's exactly what he got... and it wasn't mentioned here but the woman who he had never met was holding her newborn baby and her husband was next to her... that cop was lying because she was hit under the armpit through both lungs and heart and was dead on scene
I know a girl works in office at prison farm, She said SO MANY there for acts carried out DRUNK they can't even remember. In black outs. Alcohol destroys lives. 😪
I agree. People talk about and use alcohol as if it wasn't as dangerous as other drugs. I was an in-patient for a week at an addiction center. I was there because I wanted to unalive myself. The majority were there for alcohol. They walked around with their adult diapers full of pigs and shit and one man carried his piss-bottle everywhere, the alcoholics were so disgusting. When I went to the bathroom I shared with 3 alcoholics there was an adult diaper FULL of feces on the floor, and the toilet seat was smeared with shit and piss. Made by a woman who worked for the government. The alcoholics were so disgusting. I hated them when I was there to be honest. Alcohol turns people into monsters.
I have to add that 99% of the alcoholics, when they were allowed to leave, they went straight to the alcohol store. They are the worst addicts cos they NEVER stop. Until they die.

This whole vibe of how he "threw away his life with one bad decision" is so insane to me. He got drunk, kicked in someone's door and shot someone to death. It isn't like he spilled some milk that someone then slipped in when he didn't clean it up.
Ikr. He's young and has a job, a safe with enough savings in it to "escape to Mexico with", a Facebook accout... and yet he still is a complete idiot.
He drank 3 Smirnoff ices! What a badass
This dudes whole life had been bad decisions. Amazing that there are actually people this stupid running around
I think it was meant more of a bad decision in going over there that night.
Thanks.
Wow, congrats on your recovery and honesty. I wish u continued success ❤
👍
Howd you beat heroin and how long were you using for?
Man, I am three years clean of alcohol and meth. I would also go to dark places as well. Burglarized my next door neighbor's house, first and only charge. Went to six treatments, feel blessed to be off that.
Im glad youre doing good! Youve got good friends to who quit with you, most wont do that

Why? Can you explain it for someone like me from a non-gun country?
@@Jehannum2000 I’m guessing by shots, he was referring to rounds (bullets). Also, there’s no gun in the world that will hold 12 rounds in the chamber, every single gun can only hold ONE round in the chamber. Not 12. The chamber is at one end of the barrel where a round (bullet) slides into from the magazine to then be fired out the barrel. No gun can hold 12 rounds in the chamber… it’s impossible.
