I really like Bramimond's refine and remix and how it continues how they mirror other people. I'll definitely be playing around with them more. Will come back to this video for sure to look at all of the different builds. Thanks for the video analysis and breakdown!
Bramimond really hit the jackpot with all that damage he gets, and as a blazing blade fan myself, the fact he mimics the opponents special cooldown is a nice touch. Chrom I'm also happy about since he acts as a statball with garanteed follow up, something he needs to help make up for the odd remix he got.
Not to mention that the stat checks that Brammi needs will be always there given the powercreep. Brammi can not shred through godswords sure, but shredding through save tanks and armors in general is an entirely different story. He might not kill them but still he can dish out the damage he desperately needs.
He can shred through godswords all the same with the DR piercing. Fallen Byleth and Ninja Camilla are is worst notable matchups, but he still can win them with Triangle Attack or Infantry Pulse support paired with Hardy Bearing Its a very stacked refine overall, which allows for insane compression in a Dark Season Catria Ball since he wins so many matchups on his own. Running mine with Fallen Maria as a secondary nuke to deny player phase, pulse him down, and cover the Byleth & Ninja Camilla matchup, and i'm confident this should yield very good results Also switched Dancer Eldi to Berkut for an extra layer of IP so that Maria, Brami, and Medeus can all have a precharged special
I hope people don't underestimate how useful the "stack Bonuses" effect is that L!Chrom got: combined with the blue color it makes the Chroms with this effect pretty good at dealing with Godswords because it can help them outspeed, or in L!Chrom's case, Deadeye can fill the gap his lower base speed might not be able to bridge. My Brave Chrom is one of the handful of units I have that can reliably kill Lucias within a single combat and while I don't have his legendary counterpart, I hope people don't downplay him
I'm honestly happy with how Chrom turned. While I was skeptical about his remix at first, getting those extra stats and guaranteed follow up is what he really needed, especially when having such low spd. And Bramimond I'm definitely excited about, as I do like how he mimics the -1 CD that modern units usually get, along with having true dmg and dmg reduction, it's like a love letter for FE7 fans.
Thanks for the builds! Bramimond's refine (+remix) is so stacked, and L! Chrom's refine isn't bad either. Both of them are probably my favorite refines from this batch
It wouldn't be Bramimond without a bunch of unique checks in his weapon! L!Chrom getting the B!Chrom effect of stat stacking with status effects is pretty cool too. Kempf inflicting Discord on his foes surprised me the most with how soon his refine came out after S!Shamir first introduced this status effect.
Chrom definitely surprised me with how decent his refine is after getting bonus doubler in his prf skill and blue feud of all things, so I'm happy he gets extra stats, dmg reduction and guaranteed follow up, and Bramimond got such a unique refine that I love how they based it on him from blazing blade. I'm glad with how these legendary refines/remixes turned out.
Dude. I feel so bad that they turn chrom into the most over powered unit in the game right now. Before the update I managed to get my chrom to 45 speed and 81 attck. My chrom didn’t even need this update and now he is too over powered 🥹. I’m gonna give him speed preemptive and watch him nuke entire teams alone.
The only interesting for Bramimond is if he face against a unit with slaying, he gets slaying, which shrats a lot and definitely nuts when i build him with magical nfu build. Having brash assault build is also very good too.
Gave Idunn Close Def 4 for that extra def and res. Plus Shield Sessions in case only melee units show up. Plus DR Near Save. I tested this out before the refine, and it gives 35 def and res, adding the -14 Atk from weapon and VF4. So, pretty good setup, I feel. Maybe I’ll switch to a stance skill, but only if I feel it would work better.
My take on L!Chrom hasn't changed. No Slaying hurts for Deadeye builds, but I've run Ruptured Sky + Special Spiral since it was released and this refine hasn't ruin it so I'm happy about it.

My legendary chrom personally runs atk/spd hexblade in his A slot, it lets him target lower ers stats, and is an extra bonus for his weapon to give stats from, while L!M!Byleth provides NFU
Bramimond definitely has the most complex wording as part of his refine, but that only makes him better post-refine. L!Chrom's refine is the one I looked forward to the most since I have him at +10 and I will definitely enjoy seeing him wreak havoc during Water season. But this also means I'll have to design a brand new team to provide him with plethora of active buffs on him, or pray that the opposing team inflict stuff like Panic or whatnot. Kinda like Brave Chrom, but a little harder to use due to the fact he cannot copy active buffs like his Brave counterpart can. Regardless, I can see him being an incredibly fun unit to use even outside of Arena usage.
I knew pulling for a second Heidr for skill inheritance was worth it! I've always thought Brammimond was really cool, but a little underwhelming compared to some of the other units that I've got. Very excited to watch him shred! Quick question: Is Sturdy Impact still a worthwhile A skill to use with Mag Null Follow if I don't have the resources to go for Remote Mirror?
I haven't noticed the deep lore behind Brammi's special charges gimmick. That's really cool! I love his remix/refine. I've always loved everything about Brammimond in FEH from the incredible voice acting to his gimmicks as a unit. He used to be my B! Ike check back in the day (running hardy bearing) and I'm really happy to see him coming back to the meta! It was so satisfying to watch him obliterate a B! Dimitri in today's AR-D replays, honestly! Haha L! Chrom's remix/refine is also pretty good, he is like a weird side grade to B! Chrom now, but even less self sufficient in the sense that he cannot copy his allies effects himself. Even so, it should be noted that, as with B! Chrom, he also doesn't have a limit cap to how much stats he can get by stacking field effects! And he can do this while running all the degenerate infantry skills. I haven't much to comment on D! Idunn. She seems really cool and I do love the Idunns (ascended one is a merge project and still my main save tank), but I don't have her unfortunately.
Not having a cap on the stats in Chrom's refine seems crazy. I can think of at least 13 non-stat bonuses/penalties off the top of my head, which is +30 to all stats...
i love when a refine plays to the characters identity well like bram, i would take refines like this and shigures, for example, over broken ones any day also the way hes punishing accelerated cooldown is such a good touch i love it.
damn Bramimond is one of the coolest units on feh, the refine is perfect, also duo Idunn is back, I got her on the free summon on her debut banner, is time tu use her a lot again
So Happy with the refines this month actually. L. Chrom is not insane like Hinoka but I know he is going to be usable. Maybe not and much as the Duo because the Special condition but, yeah. And Bramimond is also very cool. I like to see these characters get some love again❤️
Hey PM1 long no see I’ve been busy but I need some advice for FEE (fire emblem, engaged) if I want to level up Alfred and Chloe did the fastest level possible should I make Chloe a ground unit and Alfred to a flying unit or just keep them as their original unit
Heres the thing pertaining to l!chrom, with the spd he can get, he will double, or he will double. Theres no cap to the stats he can get, the only limitations is the number of team members. I can bet i can get him to easily crack 90+ spd. My brave one can hit about 114-120
When I first saw Chrom's refine I was like "holy shit is that Unit and Grand Strategy in one weapon?!" but now it all makes sense lmao! IS may be crazy, but I don't think they are on THAT lvl yet

*Few months ago:* Pull your first Brammimond randomly, cool, but don't think much about it. *Last month:* Learn that Bramimond is getting refine/mix next, actually get hyped for once! *This month:* Stare in awe for all the stars aligning and Brammy actually getting it good!! Seriously, I was just happy to pull a Yuri Lowenthal unit and thought "maybe I'll do something with him eventually" and here I am looking all the stuff he ended up getting in total and now actually WANTING to do something with him! I don't really care for AR O/D nor do I pay much attention to my teams in there (for reference, I just use my very first 5's I got on my account on ALL SEASONS out of sheer want to keep using 'em somewhere) since those modes just ain't for me, I just do 'em for dailies, but now I actually want to do an actual Dark season team just so I can use Brammimond. (Even if that's the only season I care about lol) ...Like, let that sink in. That's how much happy I am for this random pull I got and for their Refinemix!
I wanna inherit Atk def ideal 4 from Priam to Legendary Chrom, do you think I should wait to get a Ferdinand to give Chrom Rouse spd def 4 as well? Or is the effect not worth it?
Why didn't they give Chrom times pulse 4? Is it because I have 3 copies of him and wanted to sacrifice him for his new remix skill? 🤔 It seems like all the legendaries I want to sac get horrible inheritance skills.
It doesn't work that way, first you cut it by 50%, and then it cuts the remaining 50% by 50%. Someone with better math knowledge might explain it with better words
I still hate how badly inconsistent IS is in what inheritable skills they give Legendary/Mythic Heroes during their remixes. Bramimond gets Tempo, which is fantastic, and then Chrom gets B Feud in the same batch (and that's not even touching on the abomination that was Sothis getting Null C-Disrupt...)
Im kinda disappointed by chrom cuz I thought it was gonna be something more interesting, he’s definitely much more improvement but I wish it had more interesting effects,
. You and I have to talk if you think he isn’t better than duo chrom at this point. I have an insane build for him that you have to see. My chrom is at 81 attck and 45 speed. Plus with this update he gets bonus attacks and speed and damage reduction 🤦🏾♂️. I’m gonna give him speed preemptive and watch him nuke peoples team.

Legendary Julia. Girl just doesn't care about debuffs, her foe's buffs, and can be deceptively fast and bulky
Eir. Heals her allies with her refined Lyfjaberg. No recoil damage after combat if buffed.
Lucina. Haha debuffs go brr. Not tlly a fan of chroms isolation once u use to change fate. Lluci has more mix up options

It just sucks that he can’t copy statuses like Brave Chrom, which definitely limits the max potential. It’s still a very sweet effect tho.

It feels really fitting to have Bramimond's Void Tome act like a mirror. After all, it is his nature.
I think imma stick to the dual phasing of Chrom Style. I wanna give him Phys NFU too to keep things consistent

These were really cool, I'm so hype to finally use more Brami!!! His refine is amazingly unique and appropriate for the lore reasonings as well
