I really love Dimitri and am so glad I can actually get this one since we have f2p Forma Souls now. My copy of B!Dimitri has been stuck at a +9 merge for almost a year and I’m so glad that my almost 2 and a half year merge project can finally be complete! I have been wanting to update his A and C skills for quite some time now but haven’t had the fodder to do so. I can’t wait to just have Dimitri at level 40+10 with so many skills and then the other 3 still a level 10 haha
I can't believe that IntSys give not just one of the best Omnitank, but also one of the best Near Save (who is also a decent to good Far Save unit), a powerful Nuke exactly when SS4 is in the pool to grab to and Claude, who is good.
I’ve got a few forma souls and am definitely getting a forma for Brave Dimitri and Lysithea. The merge on dimitri will be nice to offset the speed bane on the one I have (and get some new skills) and getting a copy of Lysithea will be fun to have a warping nuke with special spiral 4 In other news, I’m sooooo happy I pulled a copy of the new Leo. Being able to gravity 2 rows per turn in AR-O thanks to canto is absolutely insane with how much easier it is to win raids and snipe pots easily.
I definitely ATTEST with your Leo sentiments - we'll see the final results later but this unit definitely helped me reach tier 39 this light season (and hopefully my first golden throne)
@@FEH he rocks! It’s very good against things like flash staff units that could otherwise make an Omni-tank have a tough time by gravity-ing them and also makes it easier for units to avoid being dogpiled
Great guide as usual! I'm not sure who I want from this batch. I am definitely grabbing Lysithea but for my 2nd I'm having trouble deciding between Dimi and Claude; Claude has favoritism bias while Dimi is... well as you have shown here, a monster.
For the Godlike Reflexes proc, do you feel like running the new Tier 4 Repel/Close Call skills over his BLR b skill might be worthwhile, since those come with a Spd/Def debuff and a mini phantom spd?
At this point, I still like blue lion rule more, but it’s VERY close. The thing is, Def based DR is very rare and incredibly powerful for what Dimitri wants to do. I’m the sims I was running, it did better that close call 4. That being said, close call gives him some really interesting flexibility in the player phase.

B!Dimitri will be an amazing addition to my account, can't wait to get him. I still hope to get some good fodder for my Brave Edie too since i have an amazing near save build but on the far save side she's kinda weak (Main objective is a DC +Res A skill and a A/R Far save). Wish me luck
The biggest reason to use Close Call 4 over Dimitri's B prf is that it helps to one shot Embla. The -4 spd/def debuff and Phantom Speed effect (which also frees the seal slot) go a long way to eliminate Embla's damage reduction. However it can become useless against some of the fastest speed demons which are far more common than the units with enough def to ignore Blue Lions Rule. A soul for a soul I guess.
@Fehology Are you sure about the way Godlike Reflexes procs ? The description says : "If unit's Spd ≥ foe's Spd-4 and unit's Special is ready or unit's Special triggered during combat, deals damage = 15% of unit's Spd. When Special triggers, reduces damage from foe's attack by 40%. (Special triggers only if unit's Spd ≥ foe's Spd-4.)". As such, if we take numbers, let's say unit's speed is 30 and the enemy's is 32, then the special still procs since 32-4 = 28, which is lower than the unit's 30. If the special acts like you say (meaninf it's actually unit's speed - 4 >= foe's speed), then the game has a huge problem in its description. We are talking a 9 speed difference, which is quite big. From the description, you just need to not be naturally doubled (aka the foe doesn't have at least 5 more speed).
Im so happy... i believed in B! Dimitri even everybody thrashed him all day. I use him since release cuz i started playing there. He made my pve experience so easy in the beginning and im so happy that he have that great power now! Im pulled him allready to +8 and the Forma gonna be updating my Build and just a bit closer to finaly +10 the best King of the World! I've been clamoring for y'all's recommendations on this hof. I know what I want for Dimitri (Godlike reflexes, def/res finish, attack smoke 4). I guess I understand why you chose atk/spd finish over it though. Do you think spd/def finish would be most optimal for him when it comes out?
Loving the love that Dimitri has been getting this past half year. I've already got a +10 since his release but will still summon the forma to flex with the blue stars to match his blue lion house. The Godlike Reflexes Dimitri crowd has a LOT of naysayers just because he doesn't have slaying to have it up 100% but like you said, the niche that it DOES cover on 2nd hit specials was a heavy threat to him. I'm glad I pulled the plug on it. It's probably the only way to stop a max investment N!Corrin in Arena. The only issue is that against a max speed investment godsword like Alear, it's useless. But the trade off apart from that is fine.
Because of your aether raids videos I've been using lysithea on my light team and she's been such a good follow-up unit that I was looking forward to getting her with ss4! Then I remembered she needs wom in her b skill, so guess it's Dimitri for me this time!

You earn those by summoning up to a spark. you can also buy the forma souls with money. If you need more help, I highly recommend hopping into the discord. It’s a lot to type in a comment.
Def/res unity or when it comes out spd/def are equally good of him to its a sacfice of safety for other units but means debuffs actually give him benift, I atk smoke 4 is a good additional buff but also if somthing is running panic he will get even more of a benefit
i've been thinking about this. Peony's refine is what tipped me over into the finish skills for dimitri. But as long as Yune is around, unity skills will be very strong.
Lucia is interesting. I’ve been doing a ton of sims, and if you put DC on her, she struggles vs melee threats in AR. She just doesn’t have elite speed. If you’re using her on SD, might of myriads will make her an absolute monster this week.
It’s mainly the bonus units. For this season, i was using Eir (Res), Dagr (Res), Gotoh (Res), and Peony (Spd). The supports are all listed next to the condensed build. Honestly, I’d love to trade out one of those for a Spd boost though. For someone with as much DR as you’re seeing, it’s more important to have high HP and deny doubles.
@@FEH next question is it really worth wiping my ascended traits for a slightly better build? Would need to use another floret which is bogus (+Spd +Def).
My B!Dimitri is already maxed out with pretty much everything he'd want right now. The only reason I have for actually considering picking up his Forma is that I could get his kit ready for the eventual Spd build once Spd/Def Finish releases. The only thing I don't really like, is that he'll be stuck with those ugly blue stars. Personally I am not the biggest fan of Atk/Spd Finish on him, because his Def is his key stat. His survivability almost entirely comes from his Def, while he also gets a good chunk of his damage from it. My favorite A Slot right now is Def/Res Finish. For the longest time I didn't value his Res at all. But since I gave it to him, I realized just how bonkers he becomes if you are also able to stack some Res on him. Every point of Res makes it even harder for mages to damage him at all. It also opens up his special to run a damaging special. Although I do think Spd/Def Finish will be better once it releases. Peony's remix is kinda nuts for him. Being able to just place him in front of a Yune without any worries is insane. Like you mentioned his three spaces condition is also great to get around Yune or other units like L!Veronica. For the longest time I was running him with Flayn/Elimine + Kaden. But with Peony's remix I am honestly thinking about cutting Kaden entirely. Right now I am running him with L!Eliwood, because of Embla and am also planning to summon for Astrid, so I have a replacement for Eliwood, when he's off season.
@Fehology I've been been running my Dimitri on light with Astrid for the bonus doubler effect that she provides him. Running A/D ruse on her B skill for the guard effect for my team. It's a bit trickier than Kaden but it has been a fun thing to play around with, and the build does quite well against Embla teams
@@bwittykatt After giving it a bit more thought. I think Spd/Res Finish might also be really solid on a Spd build. For the most part Def/Res Finish will only give him one additional point of true DR. But the extra +7 Def can be pretty important for BLR Def checks. Stacking his Atk feels kinda like a trap to me. He already gains so much damage from his weapon, special and the Finish skill that his Atk stat becomes kinda negligible. So I'd generally advise against Atk/Spd or Atk/Res Finish. While the other two are both really good for him.
Tbh, I don't really know who to pick, I like all 4 formas, with Lysithea and Claude being my favorites. The thing is, do I go for the ones I like the most? Or do I go for the ones I USE the most? The latter one being Dimitri an Edel. After seeing this I think I'll just go for Edel and Lysithea. I'd like to also go for Claude, but you can't realistically get 3 fully decked formas.
Do you think Flame Lyn is worth merging? I gave up on merging Mareeta, as she is now Vital Astra fodder for me. But I snagged a few Lyns while pulling for Corrin merges, so I've been thinking about rocking a +1 and keeping the last one for GR fodder.
I have a visceral hate for unit who require to be near allies but I've tried getting past it and use brave dimitri, had great fun so maybe..... I'll take his forma! Altough it still sucks to me that all CYL4 units got great refines that need them to be near allies! (claude has an hp condition on the green text but for the white text he needs to be near allies)
Neither of those is necessary. Pick your favorites and go! The one that is helping him is peony with the debuff neutralization. Gotoh just helps vs AoEs. You’ll have to be careful around those without him.
I hate IS. I was keeping that one forma soul for a nice canto control unit and I they drop this. Well, I already got SS4 Lysithea. Making my Dimitri work won't be too bad.
Is this still the best build for him if we have low merges? Can't go for all the fodder so it's best to know what build/fodder is must have with a low merge version.

Very interesting idea, specially since he now tanks and surpasses most of his current weaknesess. Would an unmerged Dimitri still work with this build idea you presented? I have another unmerged one and if I get the forma Id rather have one for light and one for astra instead of fusing them. Instead of using times pulse 3, would it still work to get something like spd or atk smoke 4 AND get support from duo Askr for the pulse part?

These are really good units, but i only have one forma soul and its just not worth for me personaly. I actually could recreate some dimitri builds (i somehow got 3 fallen gustavs as a f2p player) but idk if i really should.
I've got enough Forma souls to do a full sweep, but I don't think I will. There is a chance that Valentian Palla could be on the SoV Hall of Forms in a couple of months. I would never have thought it was possible, but then THIS Hall of Forms came out, and they're all more premium than she is, so...
Most of us thought it would be the 2021 Three Houses Summer Banner. The Fire Emblem Heroes developers are like it is the 2020 Brave or Choose your Legends Heroes instead.
I'm picking BDimitri as that would be my final merge. However, I will prioritize BLys over him, as I can see myself replacing most of what I'd get on him down the line, when S/D versions of Finish skills and Oath 4 get released, and also Close Call 4 when I get my hands on it (of if they give us Velocity 4). GLR is a must though, so defenetely hunting that. BLys, on the other hand, is someone I don't plan on investing in the future, as she does her supporting job amazingly well with her base kit. Passing the chance to actually make her great at killing stuff is too good, even if having to choose between Spd Preempt or Special Spiral 4 will give me troubles. BEdelgard and BClaude will have to wait. I have no use for them right now. If things go well with my main two, I could give them some kills and see what they got.
Sometimes, I hate being a F2P player. I have two Forma Souls and considering that Altena is rerunning in March, I really don't feel like using my last one here. I've been looking into building some of my favorite units as omnitanks though as while I know Dimitri is the best you could ask for, I'll make do with what I have.

This has nothing to do with B!Dimitri or the vid itself but how many orbs do you think is possible to save until october on average starting from 0? Im thinking somewhere around 1200.
It’s different. If you can get a unit that’s times our VA correctly, it’s amazing. If it isn’t procced at the beginning of combat, it’s just a damaging special. It can also be pierced, but it works against AoE’s GLR can’t be pierced, and will reduce damage when it’s procced regardless of when it goes off. It also has speed based true damage. That’s a really long way of saying, it depends 😅

Depends on what you need. I think Dimitri’s best role is as a light season omnitank. B!Edel is the best AR-D near save in the game. If you’re looking for an upgrade, you just can’t beat her.

I'm torn between Lysithea and Dimitri. They're both cool characters, (I'm more biased toward Lysithea however), but I already OWN a Dimitri. If I get the one from HoF, I'll have a merge on him. But like... Would the Merge even matter?
Not sure if speed stacking is worth it unless Dimitri is max invested, the stat has become way too competitive. I will probably go for Def/Res Finish and Atk Smoke. But either way, definitely a must-pick-up!
The sims I’m showing first are all for a +1 B!Dimitri. When combined with phantom speed, he’s very potent. The problem I wanted to fix was units like L!veronica. In every other build, he just doesn’t survive her, and she’s so common on defense.
@@FEH also why Speed Smoke for Dimitri as if for him needed Inf Speed Tactic for NFU, Atk smoke with GLR still better if you commited him in a single mode.

I got him at +10 speed some 4, god like reflexes and etc, it was easy you have to have atleast 3 takedowns and let the other 3 ally's take out the fourth one so you can only build one character. And you are right Dimitri is built Ford Tough 😂😂😂
personally I still prefer asc!tiki on offense. she kind of just shuts down half of the meta, with an easier spd check and the decharge effect. Will still be picking up dimitri for favoritism
I've considered building BDimi out of love for the character, but he's so much weaker than Asc!Tiki, I don't know where I'd actually use him. Astra maybe, but with Arval everywhere and no false start in my barracks he'll just get plastered.

(Guard 4 fo claude, time pulse 4 for Lysithea and atk/def finish 4 doesn't even exist yet for Dimitri)
I've resisted bothering with Brave Dimitri in spite of having a couple copies of him to merge mainly because I dislike his character but with how good his refine is and the value this HoF brings I figured I might as well since I have a bunch of unused Souls. This will likely be the first HoF ever where I spend more than one XD

The only issue is that against a max speed investment godsword like Alear, it's useless. But the trade off apart from that is fine.
I hope in the future brave tiki has a refine that can rise her as much as dimitri's rised him, but knowing how IS hates Awakening tiki I doubt it

To get the forma soul, you have to spend 3 celestial stones. You earn those by summoning up to a spark. you can also buy the forma souls with money.

Def/res unity or when it comes out spd/def are equally good of him to its a sacfice of safety for other units but means debuffs actually give him benift, I atk smoke 4 is a good additional buff but also if somthing is running panic he will get even more of a benefit
i've been thinking about this. Peony's refine is what tipped me over into the finish skills for dimitri. But as long as Yune is around, unity skills will be very strong.
I only needed one more copy to finally +10 my B.Dimitri so this couldn't have come at a better time!

Lucia is interesting. I’ve been doing a ton of sims, and if you put DC on her, she struggles vs melee threats in AR. She just doesn’t have elite speed.
If you’re using her on SD, might of myriads will make her an absolute monster this week.

Really wondering how you got 41 res on a mid merged BDimi? Is he a bonus unit in this example
It’s mainly the bonus units. For this season, i was using Eir (Res), Dagr (Res), Gotoh (Res), and Peony (Spd). The supports are all listed next to the condensed build. Honestly, I’d love to trade out one of those for a Spd boost though. For someone with as much DR as you’re seeing, it’s more important to have high HP and deny doubles.

My B!Dimitri is already maxed out with pretty much everything he'd want right now. The only reason I have for actually considering picking up his Forma is that I could get his kit ready for the eventual Spd build once Spd/Def Finish releases. The only thing I don't really like, is that he'll be stuck with those ugly blue stars.
Personally I am not the biggest fan of Atk/Spd Finish on him, because his Def is his key stat. His survivability almost entirely comes from his Def, while he also gets a good chunk of his damage from it. My favorite A Slot right now is Def/Res Finish. For the longest time I didn't value his Res at all. But since I gave it to him, I realized just how bonkers he becomes if you are also able to stack some Res on him. Every point of Res makes it even harder for mages to damage him at all. It also opens up his special to run a damaging special. Although I do think Spd/Def Finish will be better once it releases.
Peony's remix is kinda nuts for him. Being able to just place him in front of a Yune without any worries is insane. Like you mentioned his three spaces condition is also great to get around Yune or other units like L!Veronica. For the longest time I was running him with Flayn/Elimine + Kaden. But with Peony's remix I am honestly thinking about cutting Kaden entirely. Right now I am running him with L!Eliwood, because of Embla and am also planning to summon for Astrid, so I have a replacement for Eliwood, when he's off season.
the only nice thing about Kaden is the guard. i'm still trying to replicate that. i was wondering about OG Loki.
@Fehology I've been been running my Dimitri on light with Astrid for the bonus doubler effect that she provides him. Running A/D ruse on her B skill for the guard effect for my team. It's a bit trickier than Kaden but it has been a fun thing to play around with, and the build does quite well against Embla teams
Thank you for this, I could not decide between Atk/Spd Finish or Def/Res Finish, and they both showed up on my HOF screen same time…Def/Res it is!
@@bwittykatt After giving it a bit more thought. I think Spd/Res Finish might also be really solid on a Spd build. For the most part Def/Res Finish will only give him one additional point of true DR. But the extra +7 Def can be pretty important for BLR Def checks.
Stacking his Atk feels kinda like a trap to me. He already gains so much damage from his weapon, special and the Finish skill that his Atk stat becomes kinda negligible. So I'd generally advise against Atk/Spd or Atk/Res Finish. While the other two are both really good for him.
Tbh, I don't really know who to pick, I like all 4 formas, with Lysithea and Claude being my favorites. The thing is, do I go for the ones I like the most? Or do I go for the ones I USE the most? The latter one being Dimitri an Edel.
After seeing this I think I'll just go for Edel and Lysithea. I'd like to also go for Claude, but you can't realistically get 3 fully decked formas.
Honestly, you can’t go wrong with your picks this round. This is by far the best HoF we’ve had.
Do you think Flame Lyn is worth merging? I gave up on merging Mareeta, as she is now Vital Astra fodder for me. But I snagged a few Lyns while pulling for Corrin merges, so I've been thinking about rocking a +1 and keeping the last one for GR fodder.
She Is a great omnitank and every stat count. And GDR Is only usable in very specific Units so merge and keep one spare for a fodder
it depends on how highly you value melee tanks. imo, F!Lynn is the best in the game at that role.

I have a visceral hate for unit who require to be near allies but I've tried getting past it and use brave dimitri, had great fun so maybe..... I'll take his forma! Altough it still sucks to me that all CYL4 units got great refines that need them to be near allies! (claude has an hp condition on the green text but for the white text he needs to be near allies)
One final question....i sadly dont have Dagr and the new light atk mythic... is it still possible to run that setup or do something similiar?
Neither of those is necessary. Pick your favorites and go! The one that is helping him is peony with the debuff neutralization. Gotoh just helps vs AoEs. You’ll have to be careful around those without him.
I hate IS. I was keeping that one forma soul for a nice canto control unit and I they drop this. Well, I already got SS4 Lysithea. Making my Dimitri work won't be too bad.
Hopefully, nothing great will drop before you get the next forma 🤞
Is this still the best build for him if we have low merges? Can't go for all the fodder so it's best to know what build/fodder is must have with a low merge version.
It looks like Godlike Reflexes is more of a max investment build
The first set of sims I ran was with a +1 Dimitri.
I got Atk/Spd finish and Vastra already. I also got Close Call 3 so I can fodder Alear easier. I think CC4 will be better for a spd based build.
I plan on building up B!Dimitri with fodder and also grabbing B!Edelgard's forma cause a merge is useful even if its got no fodder on it lol.
i think you'll be able to get them both built up. they're both amazing.

Honestly, I think he’d still do great. The only consistent Unit you’d be worried about is L!Vero. That one would be on a map by map basis.
Okay, I know the Godlike Reflexes build is for max invest. I don't have him at super high merges, but getting the Forma Dimitri will get him to +3. Should I still try to get the Godlike Reflexes and AS Finish build?
The first set of sims I did was for a +1. He still did amazing. I’d go godlike reflexes either way.

Would an unmerged Dimitri still work with this build idea you presented? I have another unmerged one and if I get the forma Id rather have one for light and one for astra instead of fusing them.

For a +0, it depends on the IVs. I think he’s much rather be at +1, unfortunately.

Yup. Dimitri is good even without merges. The first set of sims is all a +1 build.

I think he’s useable in both seasons with that kit. I just focused on light because so many folks are having Embla issues.

These are really good units, but i only have one forma soul and its just not worth for me personaly. I actually could recreate some dimitri builds (i somehow got 3 fallen gustavs as a f2p player) but idk if i really should.

Most of us thought it would be the 2021 Three Houses Summer Banner. The Fire Emblem Heroes developers are like it is the 2020 Brave or Choose your Legends Heroes instead.
I’m pretty excited about this one. I think they chose well.
I'm picking BDimitri as that would be my final merge. However, I will prioritize BLys over him, as I can see myself replacing most of what I'd get on him down the line, when S/D versions of Finish skills and Oath 4 get released, and also Close Call 4 when I get my hands on it (of if they give us Velocity 4). GLR is a must though, so defenetely hunting that.
BLys, on the other hand, is someone I don't plan on investing in the future, as she does her supporting job amazingly well with her base kit. Passing the chance to actually make her great at killing stuff is too good, even if having to choose between Spd Preempt or Special Spiral 4 will give me troubles.
BEdelgard and BClaude will have to wait. I have no use for them right now. If things go well with my main two, I could give them some kills and see what they got.

Sometimes, I hate being a F2P player. I have two Forma Souls and considering that Altena is rerunning in March, I really don't feel like using my last one here. I've been looking into building some of my favorite units as omnitanks though as while I know Dimitri is the best you could ask for, I'll make do with what I have.

On average, we get 300 per month as a f2p player. If you’re incredibly frugal, you can get around 2,100.

Is Vital Astra better than Godlike Reflexes?
It’s different. If you can get a unit that’s times our VA correctly, it’s amazing. If it isn’t procced at the beginning of combat, it’s just a damaging special. It can also be pierced, but it works against AoE’s
GLR can’t be pierced, and will reduce damage when it’s procced regardless of when it goes off. It also has speed based true damage.
That’s a really long way of saying, it depends 😅

Depends on what you need. I think Dimitri’s best role is as a light season omnitank.

for dimitri, +1 matters. past that, not really. he'll do just fine at +1. go get your favorite!
Not sure if speed stacking is worth it unless Dimitri is max invested, the stat has become way too competitive. I will probably go for Def/Res Finish and Atk Smoke. But either way, definitely a must-pick-up!
The sims I’m showing first are all for a +1 B!Dimitri. When combined with phantom speed, he’s very potent.
The problem I wanted to fix was units like L!veronica. In every other build, he just doesn’t survive her, and she’s so common on defense.

I got him at +10 speed some 4, god like reflexes and etc, it was easy you have to have atleast 3 takedowns and let the other 3 ally's take out the fourth one so you can only build one character. And you are right Dimitri is built Ford Tough 😂😂😂

personally I still prefer asc!tiki on offense. she kind of just shuts down half of the meta, with an easier spd check and the decharge effect. Will still be picking up dimitri for favoritism
A!Tiki is really underrated. folks were so mad that she came out right after B!Tiki, that they didn't pay attention to how good she was 🤣

I've considered building BDimi out of love for the character, but he's so much weaker than Asc!Tiki, I don't know where I'd actually use him. Astra maybe, but with Arval everywhere and no false start in my barracks he'll just get plastered.
A!Tiki is such an underrated unit! if you've already got it covered, there are 3 other amazing choices for a forma.

truthfully though i will admit, i am not too keen on this HoF banner, just felt they could have used some of the seasonal 3H units instead, especially because 3 of the 4 units don't really have their best skills available right now. (Guard 4 fo claude, time pulse 4 for Lysithea and atk/def finish 4 doesn't even exist yet for Dimitri)
I like meta units a lot. However I do not like dimitri enough soooo imma just take edel and lysithea for fun.
Brave Edelgard is the best near save in the game and Lysithea is one of the best nukes. I’m not sure you can make a bad choice on this batch.
I've resisted bothering with Brave Dimitri in spite of having a couple copies of him to merge mainly because I dislike his character but with how good his refine is and the value this HoF brings I figured I might as well since I have a bunch of unused Souls. This will likely be the first HoF ever where I spend more than one XD
