Mario Head always seemed like a fun character for a lawl because he’s (to me at least) one of those characters that could be interpreted in two different ways. One being based on the weird Nintendo edutainment games of the 90’s and the other being UA-cam Poops and both would make for fun and interesting movesets. This set I feel has a good balance between both of those aspects and in general represents the weird side of Nintendo incredibly well. Also the in-game Mario sprite used in the Down B gave me a good laugh
As my personal most anticipated character in your roster, I was very excited to see Mario Head get a modern take, and I’m very pleased with the final result we’ve gotten! Him being a Mix-Up makes natural sense, and the execution of the moves themselves was fun to watch. Neutral Special was very unexpected, but was also hilarious to see, and looks very useful for its damage racking and kill potential, Side Special is both a good pick, and it references multiple lines while fitting the playstyle in the process, Up Special taps into the YTP side of things, and I think it fits well while also looking very fun with all of its properties! Down Special also looks like a really cool tool to use in battle, and the various options makes it fun to experiment with, though I do think Mario Head should be able to teleport it to wherever he is in some way, and there could be a faster method of selecting, just so it’s easier to use in the heat of a match. Final Smash was also a good cutscene Final Smash, and paired with all the well chosen Taunts, Victories, and the lore, (with Mario Head being really fun to watch in it as usual) and I think this was a great set that was worth the wait! Aside from the things I had to say about the Down B, I don’t have any real qualms with this set, and I think it was a fantastic opener for the Lawl community in 2025! I’m really interested in what you can pull off for Rabbit Habit Fudd, and Shockwave interests me as well. Best of luck on them!

Here fishy fishy!" wait wrong mario game Mario Head was the one who I was most interested on out of the four since, while I like Laaaaawl's take on the guy, I feel that a modern take could very well work. And well, you delivered! I really like this set! The Super Scope as his Neutral B was unexpected but very funny and well implemented! I also like how he uses his flying as a Side B ranther than a generic "he goes up" Up B. Speaking of which, while it is a bit odd to include YTPs as moves, it makes a bit more sense here since Mario Head is an iconic character in many YTPs, so it didn't bother me too much. My only real complaint is Down B, while it's a really good move that represents the 'typing' part of the game, it leaves Mario Head open for attacks since we weren't shown that he can move around with the typewriter. It could've use a bit of a buff, but honestly that's my only complaint! This is a solid set and I'm looking forward to the fighters left!

Although the Laaaaawl series take on Mario Head wasn't bad, I feel like it was missing some elements that makes MH his-self. And too that I said that you did a awesome job at representing Mario Head just by taking elements/ iconic moments from the Mario's Teaches Typing games as well as little bits from YTP and translating those moments into a interesting moveset! (not to mention that this is a great way to start of the year for Lawl). Neutral B was a move I was not expected at all but fitted into Mario's moveset pretty well! Side B was neat idea, I would've thought that it would be Mario's Up B but this worked too! Speaking of Up B, Up B was a cool idea to show his chaotic side from YTP! Down B was definitely my favorite move of the entirety of the moveset, I really like the creativity that was given in this move! The final smash was really good that same can be said for his taunts and victory options. Overall I think you gave Mario Head that justice it needed and this has to be my favorite set from my favorite Lawl spin off that came out last year! Looking forward to the other character's set and what you have in store for us!
Alright, already we're off to a good start for Lawl this year, and who better than the return of the disembodied plumber. Having rewatched the old moveset twice from both last year and today, and while it was good for its time, it definitely needed some updating to make Mario Head feel like himself, and boy did you deliver. Aside from taking inspiration from his initial game (including the beautifully implemented Down Special), you also took stuff from material I didn't expect, like the Super Scope and Meet the Mario Head (Classic YTP, BTW), which were both hilarious and made sense given his Mix-Up playstyle. The Final Smash was an awesome Cinematic, and the lines you picked for his Ko's, taunts, and victories capture why he became such an iconic meme in the first place. The cameos were all fitting choices here, espically Commercial Wario, who I was hoping to see here, as it makes too much sense for him to be here. A great moveset that promises us an excellent year for Lawl (espically given how it will be our first year without Chin completely), and I'm excited to see Rabbit Habit Fudd next, as I actually explored his short, and I'm intrigued to see what you can pull off for him.

While I was a big fan of the Laaaaawl set, this one topped it completely for me -it didn't top XRD's set tho /j- The Super Scope was a funny surprise as I did not expect the E3 demos to be represented, yet it is fitting to the goofy nature of Mario Head. The versatility of his Side Special was really cool to see, the Up Special was a nice representation of his chaotic YTP side and the Down B was an interesting implementation of the typing aspect of the character, didn't expect his in-game sprite to be turned into a minion but it does fit with the way you "control" Mario in the game. The Final Smash was also pretty fun, as well as his taunts and victory options that really bring his charmingly wacky personality to life. Finally, I would also like to thank you for the cameo, this two big headed versions of Mario and Wario just feel right to see in action!
This was great! I Wish Mario good luck since he's being hunted down, I just realized that the hands in the Up B could be like a loose reference to the hands on the bottom of the screen when typing
Ironically, on paper this isn't too far off from what I had in mind for Mario Head right down to the sprinkle of YTP rep (barring move order and function, of course, but whatever). My old plans aside, this was a neat little comeback for the disembodied pizza pie lover and a double neat way to kickstart 2025. I will say you should add in some of the unclarified bits for the down special in closed captions so it clears up some confusion for later viewers. But that aside, good shit right here, real interested in seeing how you do Rabbit Habit Fudd.
