Exploring Looe, Cornwall, UK | Where to Holiday in Britain

- Join us for our Looe Cornwall UK Tour - filmed in July. This breath taking harbour town is rightly famous for it's beach and restaurants. It's also perfectly situated for trips out to Port Isaac, Padstow, Newquay, Polperro, the Eden Project and many other famous Cornish destinations. We start our tour in East Looe in front of the beach and explore the harbour with it's brightly coloured fishing boats. We then explore the winding streets of the charming town centre, lined with welcoming pubs, restaurants and Cornish pasty shops, before heading over the bridge to West Looe and a fantastic view across the river and out to sea. With so many people wondering where to holiday in the UK this year, you can see why Cornwall England continues to rank at the top. It's certainly one of the top tourist destinations in Britain.
We're in the land of Poldark locations here, so very atmospheric!

Hi, L.W. ! Thanks for this full exploration of Looe, Cornwall, a great experience!! A very characterful location, so well maintained, plenty of variety and interest with the church, cottages, shops and boats on the estuary. Also the quieter area on the other side👍. I would not enjoy bringing a car into the small village, much further than the bridge !! I see the car park by the water. Are there remote car parks, and shuttle buses I wonder, I saw that red double decker go past. Thanks again. All the best, Cheers, Don 👋
Well good morning Don, thanks for dropping by. Yes a very characterful location indeed, and the quieter area on the other side is a welcome respite too and has it's own feel. Bringing a car into the town must be a nightmare. Yes, there's the car park by the water but I didn't notice any shuttle buses. We were lucky to be staying on a home enchange just up the hill so we could leave our car behind fortunately. Have you ever done anything like that? I'd certainly recommend it.
The red bus is CityBus from Plymouth. One of the several bus companies serving the area over the years, after Western National went out of business First Bus used to have it.

You can also take the train in from Liskeard--the engine is more functional than pretty, but the line itself is pretty gorgeous in spots!

Hi , Just found your YT channel , thanks so much , loved seeing Looe again , very fond memories of when we stayed there , everything looked very familiar , even saw the pub where we enjoyed an evening meal . Cornwall is a beautiful county and we lived in Helston for four years .

Love Looe, been going since I was a baby, I'm now 47 and take my own family. We try and go every year, lovely place with some great memories.. A lot cleaner than it use to be!!

looe in Cornwall, our favourite holiday town, went every year in May or June, from the Isle of Wight, really love the place, not been for a while due to ill health, but have great memorys of the place

What a great video! I visited back in 2018 (arriving by train and staying at Trehaven Manor--both highly recommended!), and it was great to see a recent exploration of this town!
