How to fit Handguards from a Suzuki V-Strom on to a Suzuki GSX1250FA

- Just another night of me fitting handguards to my Suziki GSX1250FA. I also reinstated the original bar end weights as the ones that were on it really didn't suit the bike
The handguards I used on the GSX1250FA were handguards for a V-Strom DL1000 and they fitted perfectly

Absolutely Dunc, I was unsure when I fitted them to the Honda last year but I quickly realised how good they were so it was a no brainer to fit them to the GSX
Hand guard and heated grips that’s the ideal setup

Definitely to my taste... Love a handguard... Practice and looks better in my opinion.
As for the roads.... I think everywhere is now like the moon surface.... Shite. Hopefully doesn't cost to much to fix your mini.
Cheers Scotty, yes the roads are in a dreadful state of disrepair and are getting worse every week. I do like the handguards on a bike too, great for wind and rain protection and they also look pretty cool too.
I got the car repaired then a few days later it needed front pads and a sensor. It's never ending lol. Hope your well buddy
I find handguards do make a helluva difference especially in keeping that freezing air off ya pinkies. Look ok too don't they👍👍
Cheers Nige, yes they definitely make a big difference and I have white finger so anything to keep my fingers warm is a good thing plus it dies look nit too bad lol
How do you get the bar ends in ? There seems to be some sort of stopper in my bars and I can’t get them in , am a complete novice when it comes to bikes .
It sounds to me that you've completely unscrewed your bar ends and withdrew them leaving the old nut and rubber spacer inside the handle bars.
Check inside the handlebar tube to see if you can fish the nut out with a coat hanger and a small magnet
@@BMCMOTOUK thanks bud , it’s been driving me mad , thought that was supposed to be in there and didn’t want to try and force it out .
Yeah you are supposed to undo the bar end slightly to unsqueeze the rubber Bush then pull the lot out in one go. That caught me out last year and there's still a nut and Bush in the bars lol
