LOVE this shirt! The multi-coloured buttons was definitely a great choice :) thanks for sharing!
Damn I wish my thrift store had some good curtain/sheet fabrics! That is SO cute!
thank you! i've been lucky to find so many good textiles, just keep your eyes peeled!!
I love the top and sleeves being one piece! That is so unique!
I didn’t know there was a stitch in the ditch foot 😱. Must get one right now! Thanks for the tip!
such a cute shirt! Loved that you made yours from secondhand fabrication!
The video edit is so wonderful
The pattern looks great.
Like it and thanks for sharing
Yess I wanted to make similar shirt for long time, but always thought it’s gonna be difficult.
This video inspire me to make one soon 😍😍
i learned a lot while making it, but as long as you take it slow, you can do it!!!
I’ve just cut mine out of a white linen curtain! Love it even before it’s made. 🌺
Love that!!! Thrifted curtains FTW 🙌🏼
Love your channel! I cannot wait to make these.
And for what kind of fabric I would like to use, well just like you, linen silk or flannel. I need to find these somewhere because it costs too much, but looks so good!
@@chikawaiinthesky those all sound like really beautiful options! ive had really good luck finding linen curtains at the thrift store, and when i buy silk, it's usually from the remnant bin at my local fabric warehouse. good luck!!
Thank you I will keep you updated if I find the perfect fabric! I wish I will be as lucky as you!
I love olya shirt! I’ve made myself two already 🥰🥰 I love yours in linen 😍
It’s a great pattern! And thank you 🥰 what are yours made with?
@@stephtime the first one is a olive green cotton and the second one I made it two different colours: with a black silk/wool fabric and white-crème thrifted curtains 😍
@@Cestyoo those sounds so nice!!! wow, also love a color block moment. :)
awesome shirt
I've had the Olya on my plans list for so long but I can't decide what fabric to use! Linen is definitely the obvious choice but I'm also think a lightweight corduroy could be fun! Maybe I need both 🤔😁
Love your version and the button choice is super cute 😍 Tamika xx
ohh both options sound lovely!!
Stunning! You are super talented! Just a friendly idea from an avid sewing youtube watcher - I'd love it if you took more time explaining things and doing more of a tutorial style rather than a sew with me style video! More along the lines of an Essentials Club and Rosery Apparel vibe. I'm sure you're trying to get more subscribers and I think you definitely deserve them because you clearly know what you're doing when it comes to sewing! Those types of videos are more work I'm sure- but it looks like you know how to make aesthetically pleasing videos based on your intros and outros! Anywhooo I'll stop now but I think you're great and want you to get more people watching your stuff! And also selfishly I want to learn more from you lol
yes!! i plan on doing more videos like this in the new year! I always wonder if it's boring to people and i don't want the videos to take too long, but your comment has changed my view on that! thank you for your kind words and feedback!
I personally like this sew with me/vlog style videos! Many of us are not here for tutorials since super detailed tutorials for big patterns like this usually have technical sew along videos already available to watch. I need steph for inspiration to get up and sew all the things!
