It kills me that these new cards don't give you full control of the GPU clock. I don't want some trite GPU boost algo messing with my set clocks/voltages. If I set the core at 2010MHz it better stay at 2010MHz. I know it's past the card's limits, that's the whole point! It sucks that Nvidia has baked in this stupid safety net like we've all suddenly forgot that overclocking comes with inherent risks. If I want to run my card out of spec that should be my choice.
But by doing so, you may achieve the same or near the level of performance that they’re delivering with more expensive cards, so they surely wouldn’t want to allow that. They wouldn’t want people to be able to get the same level of performance of a mid-priced 1660TI out of a cheap 1650S now would they? Greedy bastards

i dont understand the video precisely so, would u please give me some exact , safe numbers ? like " turn the core clock to this , turn it to that "
There is no exact number for overclocking, every video card is different and even the same models have the silicon lottery. You can do it manually by changing the values and slowly increase the GPU clock speed, but this is time consuming and will need a lot of stress tests to make sure its stable. I suggest using the Auto OC Scanner as explained in this video. If you want numbers, I suppose +100 on the GPU would be fine without validation, but it is impossible to say as explained above so I am just giving what I presume to be low enough that it is a safe value for mostly all GTX 1650 video cards.

Thanks for the video. Even though I have a 1080ti.
This guide works for the 1080 Ti since the Auto OC function has been added to Pascal series.
@@overclockersclub so is it safe to just go in and hit the auto OC button and that's it?
Yep! NVIDIA has so many protections in place, that you can't damage the card if you wanted to. You will get more out of the card usually if you change the fan speed (to cool it more) and raise the Power Limit. Raising the Max voltage limit is hit or miss, so leaving that alone is fine. Only makes a difference for the last 25-50mhz.

If You are not using an external power supply and ONLY using PCIe, Is it bad to raise voltage? i heard PCIe is at its limit with Voltage going through it and can burn out
This card won't power on without the external power connector. Also it is very bad to raise the PCIE slot power as it can cause all sorts of problems. Mostly burning out the motherboard slot, but other things can happen to. This is why AMD got so many crap for this on one of its graphics cards. It was a software bug and patched, but it still wasn't good.
@@overclockersclub Ah ok thank you, thats what I guessed without an external power supply so i didnt want to Raise my Voltage, because my 1650 is PCIe only

you need to wait to see real changes in the performance, I also overclocked my video card since December the past year today, and still working well, obviously the use / no cleaning/ programs using GPU/CPU and so many other things affect the performance but talking about OC I don't see changes on gaming and render at all since I bought my 1650 Super.
what for is msi afterburnig? should I put random values? what happend after I slide changing the values? does It modify my gpu settings? what after closing the app? I have 1 question: how much will OC affect the gpu lifespan? I just got it about 2 months ago.
if youre using msi afterburner (like in this video) you most likely will never damage your gpu.
what it might affect is the lifespan of the fan bearings, that will probably ramp up more than usual to keep up with the temps, but if you do it right you probably wont have any problems

I wasn't aware NVIDIA had a mobile version until you pointed it out. Anyways all mGPUs are NVIDIA OEM branded, so I suspect the TDP is 75 watts. I would just run the Auto OC. My msi afterburner does not give me the power limit slider
Ok umm not to sure if this is normal but iv been running the artifact scanner for around 30 minutes on 2000 mhz and iv had 0 artifacts
Its probably broke again.
How do you re set the over clock?
on msi afterburner you can find a circular arrow pointing back. this button reverts all of your settings to default settings.
Wont the max voltage damage the card
More or less no. All it does is allow the voltage to go up to NVIDIA's safety limit. But the way NVIDIA Boost works, this is already do automatically.
i overclockt it and its niw just a black screen?
can i overclock my pc with these specs?
I7 processor
Gtx1650
B250 motherboard
8 gb ram
You are going to be limited by the B250 motherboard, but you can certainly try to overclock the CPU. If you are going for the video card, the motherboard doesn't matter.
