    Just found your recipe! This looks delicious! I have a bit of discard left, I normally don’t like to leave or have it! Because it makes you think of more way to cook or bake!🤦🏻‍♀️☺️ but we do love scones 😊 so I’m so glad I found your channel!

      Yay! I’m so glad you tried it- but agreed, sometimes the bottoms get crispy depending on the oven!!!

      Bill! I think frozen blueberries would be delicious- I would add them just exactly the same as I added the chocolate chips! They are small enough that even frozen, they should thaw and bake through during baking :)

    So is sourdough discard just replacing the buttermilk in traditional scones?

      pretty much :) the discard will give a little more rise and cakiness than buttermilk would, but both buttermilk and discard will give your scones a slight (but delicious) sour taste!
