Bill! I think frozen blueberries would be delicious- I would add them just exactly the same as I added the chocolate chips! They are small enough that even frozen, they should thaw and bake through during baking :)
pretty much :) the discard will give a little more rise and cakiness than buttermilk would, but both buttermilk and discard will give your scones a slight (but delicious) sour taste!
