Pokemon Blazed glazed is one of the oldest and most well known rom hacks in the world. While being made over 12 years ago it has does have a lot of features that hacks at the time didn't have like a costum region and storyline so today we are going to find out if it still holds up.

Honestly nostalgia drives me way harder in this rom hacks corner, these older roms were invaluable to my childhood as I didn't grow up with a console or gaming pc

Yes. Yes it does hold up to the test of time. I played the standard Glazed when I was younger and it was peak. Recently replayed it in 2023 and it's still one of the greatest rom hacks of all time.
This and gaia are some of the first rom hacks i ever played. So thanks for the trip down memory lane

Fun fact for everyone: You can repeatedly do the Lighthouse challenge and get an endless amount of Eevee if you want on top of a lot of extra experience. That's where I tend to go for level grinding if I play this game, especially since it's trainers with set types each floor.
I even had a whole evee only team
My Pokemon Glazed team has such a special place in my heart. Despite it being a fan game, my team in that game is one of my favorites of all time.
I remember searching 'pokemon games gba emulator' as a kid and I did not knew this was a rom hack. It was definitely a better experience over other games

Theres 2more region and got all legendary pokemon
The one thing I liked about Glazed is that it has 2 or 3 REGIONS to explore after you beat the elite 4
I think you should play Pokémon reborn, it’s an amazing Pokémon fan game that is very long and also very fun to play. It has amazing antagonists and amazing characters you meet during the story. I think you would enjoy it a ton.

First romhack was the pokemon emerald one that let you get every pokemon in the national dex. I'm in love with the things we are able to do these days with rom hacks and realized i could of been playing so many better roms as a 10 year old

Dude, The other parts of the game you didn't played are not "post game content". They are the rest of the game. All the plots you played until the first league continue after the first league. If you play it just until this part, you're literally missing 2/3rds of the game.

Pokemon glazed the first rom hack after gaia that I felt that i really completed
I don't want to be that guy but I was expecting like Quartz or Snakewood or something. Glazed is a pretty late release in my pokemon rom hack timeline. I remember it blowing me away when I played it for the first time. There was so much more content and thought put into the game than any other romhack I had ever played.

Honestly, I like Luxray, and Lucario both better than the given starter options.
I only recently player this rom hack for the first time and its probably my favorite ever so it definitely holds up
Glazed, Renegade Platinum, and Ash Grey were the best back in the day. I'd play them on my phone emulator lmao.

I tried to play this game today, it seems so difficult.
It's because Blazed Glazed is the easy version of Glazed. Glazed under 9.1 version have level curves and good moveset. Gym Leaders are actually strong and the Lighthouse is really hard because of many Strong Fully Evolved Pokemon.
I dont have time to play these rom hacks or to watch an entire walkthrough but this... This is perfectly crafted for me :D

apparently later versions of the original glazed has incorporated enhancements from blazed glazed and more so the latter is now outdated

Wasnt the first gift mon a ditto in glazed version? I guess it made the game kinda hard that you dont really get any ground type before gym one iirc, so they exchanged ditto for onix

You should play POKEROGUE using Ash's Pokemon at PRIME meaning:
1.) Evolved all his Pokemon including NFEs such as Bayleef, and such
2.) Mega Evolving and Gigantamaxing all his Pokemon that can capable of such as Charizard, and such
3.) Using released Pokemon and applied Rule 1 and Rule 2

Just a heads up, this hack can be pretty hard to find as its banned from a bunch of sites due to Nintendo DMCAs over it.
i believe this version is a updated version of pokemon glazed since when i played it, it didnt have any gen 6 pokemon and the gym leaders also have different pokemon
He's playing blazed glazed which is update on glazed but since then glazed got many updates, glazed v9.1 is the current one
