from all the videos, The Carly sounds amazing. But my question is, and forgive me if I sounds dumb but, you remove the adapter after coding and before driving, or can you just drive normally with the adapter in the port?

Hello, I have replaced my led headlights but they only go on when I unplug the lights plug and plug it back and when I adjust the lights from the adjusting lever it can't work, can CARLY code them(led headlights)?
Can you turn off thru iCarly, daytime running lights? And do you have video on your overall headlight setup to include functions, angle-eyes, color change? Thanks for the overall content and information.
I use this app for my bmw f31 and it's great. The downside is when having a android phone with Bluetooth, it takes a very long time to code. Running a diagnose, backing up your settings and code 1 feature takes at least 5 - 10 minutes. This is very frustrating when you want to code multiple features that requires to be coded seperatly. When you are able to code features together it's faster but still take a long time.
Thanks for the video, Evan. Re: the blinking brake lights: they may not be legal in certain states. Best for everyone to research their local/state regulations before putting them into action.
Yes it is illegal in most states however, when using your high beams usually no one should be in front of you. So it’s good for when your on a dark road.

The Carly you show in the video is different than the one you see on the link you have put. Is it the same thing ?
The link is the new version of the Carly adapter does the same thing and more
so there are 16 faults that came up, One of them being the running light which I have replaced and another being the license plate light which I have also replaced. Can I clear those faults so I know what the actual current issue is? Do I need to pay for the higher end app in order to do that along with many other features? Thank you

Carly cannot program a new LCM to accommodate the mileage correction, correct?

I have a quick question for you I have a 1999 BMW 323I have the I Carly generation 2 adapter It's telling me I need 2 adapters one for the 16 point pin adapter underneath the driver side and the 20 point adapter for inside of the engine Bay. My car has both ports I do not know which adapter the to get can you tell me
Its good for e46 models but for e90 the bimmer geeks pro tool is the better route

Yes it will work make sure you get the android adapter not the iOS one

Great content for e46 owners like myself. Can I use any cheaper Bluetooth or WiFi obd connectors to connect to carly app or must one use the official carly obd to connect to the carly app.
You need the actual Carly adapter for it to function correctly.

I've bought the adaptor and then i connected through Bluetooth and it gave me no coding options thats on a 2005 e46 325ci
And every other feature on the app needs a license purchase just a complete rip off

Oh you would have been pissed if you had have bought the old software like in video and paid for extras £115 plus the adaptor to be told need to upgrade to newer adaptor after 3 months £74.9. Then 18 months on old software wont work as in video, uninstall and pay subscription £4.92 per month. Even logged in to Carly site it now shows i have no purchases but knows how i paid before!
So much so for lifetime and updates, how long before carly rip this new lot off.

I hope they sent me the right one I have a iPhone and it looks like android version I will be pissed because I made sure when I ordered I needed the iPhone USA version. I had to go to work so I will find out soon.

Evan Goyuk no the universal is forthe iPhone the the one they sent me yay 😁 The one pictured is for Android.
They sent right one ☝️ the brand new battery I bought was bad took a min to figure that one out. So I’m a expert Battery installer now. So now I am on my second battery and am positive that it’s installed and registered correctly. So if the battery still drains I’m unhooking the blue wire on the negative cable wish I tried that first that basically makes it work the old school way. Way I have it now is factory so on few days I find out if it worked.
They only list the Universal one now as of 2020 for the better Android and Apple things £74.90.
The old adaptors work with latest subscription only, video above is the old software and GEN 2 Adaptor they tried on with me, now nothing works having bought everything 2 years ago.
In my case Carly Connected is a complete fraud and a scam. Their website makes false claims about features and car models that their adapter and app support. They simply refuse to support their product. I've emailed them a dozen times and the only response I receive is that they are too busy and will get back to me and then don't. There is no other way to contact them. This is not a reputable company.
Why can’t I connect through the WiFi?
It connects through WiFi on iPhones and it connects through Bluetooth on android
Evan Goyuk I have iPhone but doesn’t even pop up in the WiFi signal. Wish I knew what the lights meant on the obd2 connector

You cant code with the Lite Version. You have to upgrade to the Pro Version which will cost you. This is a rip off. Better with INPA has everything and more . and cheaper.
