I have an eqs 580. I have the dashcam but I can't seem tonset it to automatically record. I can only manually record each time. I can't find any options to enable this. Any ideas?
@EQS-Owner Hey, what all features do we get with the dashcam feature? Do we get the cabin inside videos as well? I see there is a small camera on top of the center console but not sure what is does.. I have a 450+ EQS sedan Premium trim
@@gauravarya6182 all you get is the front facing camera from inside the sensor area behind the rear view mirror. The camera facing you is to identify you for your profile and watch your attentiveness. It even knows if you start watching the passenger display.

Did you format the 1TB drive to exFat? Assuming it was genuine storage media, it should have worked.

As long as the memory card is in, the recording starts automatically when the car starts and records until the car is turned off.

There is an option for that. The key is going into the dash cam settings and selecting "Loop Recording" instead of "Individual Recording"
Does it capture video from the other cameras too? Or just the front camera?
Just the front - maybe it will do more in future years.

I paid the 200 bucks to turn on the dashcam feature via the phone app. well worth it. hope I never need it

Your 1T thumb drive maybe be the counterfeit product, get quality one with less than 1T.
