Santal Complet is really nice although I was surprised at how masculine it was to me. Oud Juane Intense is a safer blind buy. Santal Complet is addictive though but it is not a feminine fragrance.
I think it’s very feminine enough. I get a coconut vibe on my skin, although when I sniff from the bottle I sense a more musky vibe. Sometimes I layer 1:1 with Delina to get a more fresh and sparkly vibe.
Same here, FdB please fix this. I got my MFK samples with free shipping, 14€ just for the 4 samples. I’m sure you can find a 10€ max shipping solution at least in Europe

Am I the only one telling that fragrance du bois don't stay long on the skin (I love them anyway) ? I own Santal complet and Petales de Cashmere and they are sooooo soft on me. Longevity is about 10 minutes :( Even Oud orange intense is mild, soft as a confort scent on my skin no one can notice me in the crowd. I am a little disappointed I would have loved to leave a beautiful "sillage" behind me

@@cristinamagurean well.... Encens mythique Guerlain, Delina, Oro Rosso Bois 1920, Holidays Mancera, Memo Paris.... but to be completely honest many scents are mild and sweet on my skin. Most of them become skin scents on me.... its a curse 😢 and Fragrance du bois have a weak projection and longevity : my body chemistry I presume

I think you should watch this video...I have also read the comments and sadly ....FDB is not what it used to be...I think there is nothing wrong with your body chemistry, you just need to find the right one for you. Well apparently they didn't only change the color... they definitely changed their formulations. They are NOT the same. They smell nothing like before and I am so glad I wasn't the only one thinking I went crazy. This house is lying to its customers, stealing money and you're over here believing them and advertising them because you're best friends now? AND you got free fragrances. Interesting. Im going to sample these fragrances when Im on vacation. Since there's a store with niche fragrances. I already own santal complet. My sister loves the fragrance even though she's very sensitive to alcohol. It's probably the coconut 😅. But she died when she saw the pricetag. Im looking forward to oud jaune- and oud orange intense.😍 I know taste in fragrances is subjective but I sampled a lot of your recommendations and loved them.
Ahhhh nope! Checked out a few of their offerings and Siberian Rose sounds like a dream in a bottle but the price, shipping and current economical trainwreck that is my country are all wagging their fingers at me to stay away from this brand. Shame, because I love oud concoctions and FdB seems to have a lovely arsenal of them.

Hey. I own two by FDB and two by MFK (including baccarat rouge) the projection of FDB is not as powerful as MFK but in a good way. I think most MFK is overpowering if you spray more than once or twice. Fragrance du Bois have honestly the most beautifully blended fragrances I’ve ever smelled. They’re stunning. I have sampled around 10-11 of FDBs fragrances and I would say what I have said applies to most of them.

Oud Rose Intense smells very much like Amouage Interlude ...Interlude has a creamier smell to it...where as I would say with Oud Rose, I would say it's got a bit more spice to it.

Do these scents have good staying power? I, like you, have a perfume obsession, but I’m about to give up on them. I know there have been regulatory changes that affect the staying power of perfume.....since these changes there is zero staying power for most fragrances, including the classics.
