I can't help but look at this group as a younger version of Toe (that's a good thing). From the mannerisms of the drummer, energy of the group as they play to their phrasing and sound, it's beautiful. Just wanted to share that thought and see if anyone agreed.

This vid has the rawest sound from this band as far as I heard AND I LOVE IT. I wrote at other vids by other band (none but tricot) that the two bands sound pretty akin to early bossa nova from Brazil, because of their attitude towards music in addition to chord preference and female half whispering voice quality, but this raw vid convinced me that I was right. My finding may not bring me back to Brazilian music. But I WILL continue to listen to the two bands. They represent spirit of certain group of people having the same mental tendency regardless of age, nationality or race. I join.

Evan Riser I don't think so. These guys are great, no doubt about that, but Toe is a very, very special band and there's nothing like them.
