haha as a teen i was listening to lots of emo bands...so yeah if any sound would remind me of something, that would be some emo song :P if you've heard ''my curse'' you'd see that the intro arpeggio is very similar to the 0:31 here

Low-fi slowcore shoegaze. I LOVE it. Only wish my Chinese language skills were more than rudimentary. The SOUNDS are really familiar and warm, expansive, Crimson-esque but way more accessible. Might make an MBV comparison, but no. Playlist, added.

Not even close. Not lo-fi because the mix is pretty clear and the song progresses a lot. Not shoegaze because the guitar effects are minimal and there are no walls of noise. Not slowcore because the speed doesn't drop below a moderate tempo.

Also, I really dislike the name "math rock", just seems so unclear. Like how does this sound share anything with groups like tera melos? Outside being a bit complicated to play? Just feels like something someone would call a song if it involved tapping or odd time signatures/rhythm.

@@devinstipe1711 I am a big fan of Pinback, yeah. But actually I found these guys through a yt recommendation. They're usually not something Id be interested in at all, but these guys really fit me. At least their more melodic stuff anyway, never really liked chaotic junk.

Sometimes I find music on here from other fans, one of them once suggested el ten eleven for me. And after I got into them I suggested Pinback for their fans and some of them thanked me, haha.
