    0:40 - Step 1: Use towel to position the head centrally
    0:57 - Step 2: Place a pillow under the weaker shoulder and arm

    1:30 - Step 1: Lying on the strong side, ensure patient is well rolled over onto the side and head is well supported and in good alignment.

    2:11 - Step 1: Ensure that the weak arm is placed away from the body before turning patient over, roll patient on side, allowing body to rest back onto the pillows

    2:27 - Step 3: Place a pillow between the patient's legs
    2:44 - Sitting out on a chair
    2:46 - Step 1: Ensure patient is not slouched, and avoid leaning to one side
    2:59 - Step 2: Place pillow under weaker arm to support it
    3:07 - Step 3: Ensure that foot is flat on the floor. If chair is too high, put foot stool under foot.
    3:25 - Step 4: Ensure weaker leg is in neutral position
    3:42 - Step 5: Ensure weak arm is well supported when patient moves as this may injure the shoulder joint.

    My mother had her 1st mild stroke and has a blood clod on her left side of the brain.
    After using walker, cane, physio...she recovered and can walk without aids.
    But she had her 2nd mild stroke as a result of covid.
    Blood clod is gone.
    And now can walk without walker or cane but still need support from another person.
    Hope she can recover fully.

    My father is facing nerve weakness along with diabetes and animia...from 15 years....as day passes he unable to walk...and his eyes r not easily open...hoping through this video I can do something

      Check out Dr. Berg's UA-cam about stroke videos.. He will advices what to eat to help understand why/how patient's has stroke. In addition explain what to do to recover/ prevent from has another stroke. Hope it will help your father. Also check out Dr. Fung because he help reverse diabetes.
