My favorite Far Cry by far , the the feeling the area and the music gave me was so calm , melancholic even though you are in a middle of a war in a way, but the nature and everything around you makes you feel still warm inside , kind of hard to describe but other games didn't make me feel like that.
Imagine a soundtrack for a video game that in itself was so jaw dropping that the music that goes with it inspires visions inside of us and reminds us of the great times of running around Peggie county in it's hay day. Enough to get 1.6M of us here together. I'm convinced this game has the best soundtrack of this decade, paired with such a crazy story.
Hard times make strong men. Strong men make good times. Good times make weak men. Weak men make hard times. We've been living during phase three. *On to the fourth.*
No, It's we're in the first phase again. The boomers ruined the economy and now, All the younger generations are creating changes and trying to make everything good.
Guess it kind of depends on where your from, but for the most part, we aren’t living in ‘hard times’ at all. We take things for granted and are the spoiled children of the spoiled children of the boomers whom (you believe) ruined our economy and brought upon ‘hard times’....? Surviving a bit of debt, doesn’t create Strong Men. LOL You need to take a step back and re-evaluate your perspective. Cause I’m willing to bet you’ve never actually experienced true desperation, where your life is at stake against the unknown. Against actual threats and the slow creep of starvation or dehydration. You’ll learn who you truly are during those hard times. And what you had taken for granted.
They were psychopaths who brutally tortured and killed thousands of people. But hey, Joseph Seed squirted a few tears, so maybe he's not so bad after all.
@@danielsilvers2896 Lmao! Thank you. People on here acting like the Seed family were victims struggling just to make it. They clearly were insane: kidnapping, drugging, beating, and killing people who resisted. There is nothing noble about the Seed family or their minions. On a lighter note, this song is beautiful.
Am I the only one who played this game and constantly had the feeling " I don't think I fight the real baddies." Don't get me wrong: the Seeds are a bunch of lunatics. But was their criticism wrong? The game left me hollow and wondering. Neither Resistance nor the Cult were actually the reason for all the problems. Maybe it's just the governmental sanctioned lockdown talking through me...
Yeah that’s the strange thing about far cry. Even though you know the villains are psychopathic, delusional and evil murderers, you somehow still sympathize with them, and it makes you doubt yourself too when chopping through them
Far cry has been progressively getting better at that. Fc3 you knew they were clearly bad but you liked them so much (I.e. Vaas). Fc4 you can definitely realize the “villain” of the story actually makes a lot of sense, and compared to the other groups the game has you side with, really is easy to understand where he’s coming from. Hell even in the secret ending he gives you everything you can to Kyrat for, and then acts like your buddy, lastly saying along the lines of “Now let’s finally shoot some damn guns!”. I haven’t really played Far Cry 5 that much but from what I’m seeing the villain is just as understandable as the one from 4, but has some sadistic ways of creating this new “prophecy”, for lack of a better term. He wants to dismantle corporations and higher ups controlling people’s lives in exchange for the “new world”, something that resembles that of our ancestors, but also doesn’t see the hypocrisy in his goal by possibly creating a nuclear hell where many of the weak and poor will die off, ironic given the whole goal of his. I’ve played a little of far cry 6, but so far it seems like they’re making the villain more heinous than the last
Yep. Inflation by the government fed bank printing money en masse causing poor to get poorer and rich to get richer. Called it out years ago to come and people thought we were nuts. The neverending ight for survival, social determinisim, repopulating mankind. Oh how blessed are the ignorant and innocent, for they can just ignore this truth and go on with the lifes
What an amazing soundtrack. Better than than anything in Hollywood.
I'm listening to this on this midst of Covid-19 crisis 😔. Stay safe everyone!
Same
Stay safe!
LOL
Down in my bunker right now waiting this out. Hope all of you make it through this.
This song does actually relate to this situation. Im replaying fc5 cause it feels more authentic, especially the music
Why the hell can I not find any more music with this woman’s beautiful voice on it? She has an amazing voice absolutely beautiful. Why is she not famous and doing more music? I can’t find her stuff anywhere.
gregory and the hawk
this voice drives away all my sleepiness and it's 3AM just simply stunning
This game has given me a new outlook on life thank you Ubisoft Montreal
this song reflects current life for many of us
Thanks Ubisoft
More relevant every day. Let them begin indeed.
The rich will get what they want, the poor will lose what they need. A heartless tale that's old as civilization
Her voice is like an angel.
"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil"
Man the stomach drop when “oh god, he was right” such a big moment for me lol
This is by far the best game OST I've ever heard
This game, man.
I always find myself here when I'm feeling down. Far Cry 5 is extremely underrated and the soundtrack is among the best I've ever heard.
Yeh so true - I re-visit FC5 every 6 months or so, it's my happy place - Hope County really feels like home, no other game does that for me tbh - and the soundtrack is sublime.
Yes its my favorite far cry game, other far cry games were also amazing but the 5th is the best
The song reminds me never lose hope always listen to this song when I'm feeling sad I've lost everything I'm still fighting
The riots in Sri Lanka, the murder of former PM Shinzo Abe, food and gas shortages. If the Project at Edens Gate was real they would be getting new members daily.
"Judge not, and you will not be judged. Condemned not, and you will not be condemned. Forgive... and you will be forgiven. Take your friends my child and go" -Joseph Seed
My favorite Far Cry by far , the the feeling the area and the music gave me was so calm , melancholic even though you are in a middle of a war in a way, but the nature and everything around you makes you feel still warm inside , kind of hard to describe but other games didn't make me feel like that.
Same
Wow. I love Dan Romers work since atypical and maniac but when he is working with a wonderful voice.. wow.
Sometimes.... the best thing to do is to walk away.
Well the fact that he was right doesn't mean he was right to be as inhuman.
because the enemy too strong :D
Fine im buy this game is just for walk away
Imagine a soundtrack for a video game that in itself was so jaw dropping that the music that goes with it inspires visions inside of us and reminds us of the great times of running around Peggie county in it's hay day. Enough to get 1.6M of us here together. I'm convinced this game has the best soundtrack of this decade, paired with such a crazy story.
Hard times make strong men.
Strong men make good times.
Good times make weak men.
Weak men make hard times.
We've been living during phase three. *On to the fourth.*
GhostCreek cull the herd
Careful. "Strong men" triggers the soyboys.
LOL
You need to take a step back and re-evaluate your perspective.
Cause I’m willing to bet you’ve never actually experienced true desperation, where your life is at stake against the unknown. Against actual threats and the slow creep of starvation or dehydration.
You’ll learn who you truly are during those hard times. And what you had taken for granted.
i think were on the fourth to be honest. the question is how hard will these times be and what cost would they bring.
to the 17 SINNERS that disliked this song..... your judgement is coming!
It's now 62 sinners, but don't worry. They don't have to do anything. John will come for them. Welcome to Eden's Gate.
For the father!
They must be atoned!
They will say "YES"
151 SINNERS someone need to stop them

I see John in his plane, he's comming
This got me in tears ... so beautiful
Song hits more now in 2023
This soundtrack is a masterpiece for a masterpiece game
True. I'm gonna give a shot to Far Cry series just because of this song. What a touching piece.
Facts
Farcry 5s music is some of the best in games and some of the best in the world. This song specifically should be on radios

I’m in nanking for a trip and I see the a bomb pls help
Heh
This made me sad for killing the fathers family , the cutscene where’s he’s crying made me cry
The snot distracted me a little but yeah i felt pretty bad for him especially after i found out what they had been through.
They were psychopaths who brutally tortured and killed thousands of people. But hey, Joseph Seed squirted a few tears, so maybe he's not so bad after all.
yeah, motivation, lore, which in 2 books, movie, this shit go fuck, thiy psihopats uuuu
@@kevinm8865 Cruelties of nature, what humans will return to after civilization crumbles. Its in our nature to be barbaric
I’ve played a little of far cry 6, but so far it seems like they’re making the villain more heinous than the last
Riding around the map at night with this song is such a vibe
This becomes incredibly relevant
It has been relevant since day one
This is quite beautiful. Love those original songs that are produced for the game. Like the ones Ill Factor created for Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Mr. Assassin quiet = silent, quite = really, in your case quite > quiet
This song hits even harder in 2022.
The Great Collapse looks more and more real each year after this game was released.
Yep. Inflation by the government fed bank printing money en masse causing poor to get poorer and rich to get richer. Called it out years ago to come and people thought we were nuts. This game is going to be looked at as seriously prophetic if a nuke drops anywhere in a civilized nation in the near future.
. . . 'Cause it is? nuff said.
@@Nomadic_Inquisitor it is deserved
Sadly it’s all too true. (Edit: I cried.)
I get constant shivers from the cult songs! They are amazingly written and the girl sing so beautiful.
Just give this masterpiece of music a trophy. Man the soundtrack of this game is something else
I will never tire of listening to them ... you have done a great job Ubisoft
"When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change"
-Avatar Aang.
Listening to this song while staring out at the Bitterroot Mountains feels really good. You should try it.
"In the west shall rise
A sinister creed
The rich will get what they want
The poor will lose what they need"
This goes so unbelievably fucking hard OMFG.
Day by day and these soundtracks become more relevant. I'm waiting for someone to start a movement and I will not hesitate to join.
The movement already exists. Check out Jordan Peterson's lectures and talks.

yep, even onto 2024. Fight on Ukraine!

I wish I could go back to 2018, erase my memories, and play this game again. Far Cry 5 was, and still is, a masterpiece of a game.

One of the best video games themes I've ever listened
Man 3 years later and still one of the best game soundtracks I've listened to... And not just 1 song in the game is good.
It hits different during covid. I was already crying while listening to it, didn't know why, but know I don't cry. I feel full of hope and true understanding of this marvellous song
Feels good that im not the only one that feels that type of way even though im late😅
The great collapse won't be our ends, my friend. Stay strong through all of this, we could make it !
This song brings back memories
Blows all other far cry game's soundtracks out of the water hell it beats all other triple A games out right now tbh
This game was an experience. Lingers with me throughout life now.
This is some piece of work . Farcy 5 obscures the entire impressionist era ! And the Jesus characters especially , mr second in command is of the best cast , the movie industry has hardly ever seen . Perfect work !
This makes me feel like starting my own country to help others in the globe
1hr and 43 min left till it's released. This is amazing.
[Verse 1]
In the west shall rise, a sinister creed
The rich will get what they want, the poor will lose what they need
The devil knows our fears, he told all his friends
They'll block the sun with their lies, as darkness descends
[Chorus]
Oh Lord, the Great Collapse
Won't be our end
When the world falls into the flames
We will rise again
We will rise again
[Verse 2]
Let the wars begin, we'll keep our pistols near
Our neighbors frail and thin, as they disappear
Let the chaos come, let our houses freeze
The lights will all go out, but we'll finally see
[Chorus]
Oh Lord, the Great Collapse
Won't be our end
When the world falls into the flames
We will rise again
We will rise again
[Verse 3]
When the sky has cleared, and the storm has passed
We'll walk arm in arm, down our promised path
We'll watch the sun come up, from its bed of black
We'll enter Eden's Garden, and never look back
[Chorus]
Oh Lord, the Great Collapse
Won't be our end
When the world falls into the flames
We will rise again
We will rise again
Sometimes in the game i used to stop my car just to listen to the songs, just for the vibes.
The music in this game was probably one of the massive aspects of the reason why I loved it.
I really love the country feel that this song gives.
why the hell I am crying

Just moved by myself in my first ever apartment. I took my Xbox one and plugged in after 2 years of not turning on. I instantly hopped on Far Cry: New Dawn after years of completion of the story. I saw that The Judge is my buddy, I remembered the fact that Judge is the Deputy and instantly played this song to remember how I felt when FC5 ended.
Such a perfect song for a perfect game.
the amount of effort, background, music, etc put into this game as a whole is astounding. It's a great game.
