- Many artists use or combine everyday objects to challenge assumptions about what constitutes “art” and how it should be made. Learn how Marcel Duchamp, Meret Oppenheim, and Robert Rauschenberg did the same with a bicycle wheel and a stool, a teacup, and a bed.

I love these videos. I had heard of Marcel Duchamp but never realized what he had accomplished, so I appreciate learning more about him and his impact on the arts. I have often been fascinated by the intrinsic art of everyday objects as well as the beauty of basic engineering marvels. It's good to understand this art form better. Thanks for producing these videos.
Great video! Great selection of iconic works!
Good selection of art works, calm narrator, nothing superfluous 👍🏻
This is excellent! Well done, concise presentation of provocative ideas. PLEASE make more of these!
these are lovely! Thank you so much MoMa
Really wonderful series on modern art. The videos have been edited brilliantly. Hope to see more.
Quick, educational, enjoyable. Great little video.
It be great if you did something on Piero Manzoni, there's not much about him on youtube. Great series btw!
Great series. I like it.
This is such a light and unserious video. Congratulations MOMA. Good to know where your priorities are these days.
I love art, but I'm more of a sketch/drawer than I am painter or mosaic and other arts,I love the series though!

hi Anastasia, we just re-released the "Art & Society" film! You can find it on the Modern Art & Ideas playlist under the title, "How artists responded to political crises" or, here: ua-cam.com/video/whyXxfmCbTA/v-deo.html ...let us know if there's a theme you'd like to learn more about!
Hi MoMA, thank you, this is very sweet of you to let me know. I like the series a lot, I only wish it had Russian subtitles so that more people in my country learn what modern art is actually about. Keep up the good work!
