- It’s tomato and garlic confit. It’s pasta. Of course, it’s tomato and garlic confit pasta - basically the trifecta of things I’ve become well-known for. The tomato and garlic are slow roasted in lot of olive oil until sweet, jammy and caramelised. They are then blended together with some cream and tossed through pasta with lots of parmesan. I have also served this quick and easy pasta sauce with some tender and juicy chicken breast for those after a little extra protein.

Everyone used to think, you use a lot of olive oil but i always felt like you definitely stored the remaining oil for other purposes because garlic oil is tasty as well as healthy too. You are way ahead.

Because the shorts are filled with children who think saying the same thing over and over is funny and that they get their dopamine from everyone liking their comment instead of enjoying life.
i make this kind of pasta a lot actually but i do it a little different. i use tomato paste instead of actual tomatoes and i use a lot of seasonings (chili flakes, chili powder, black pepper powder & salt) just for the sauce.

You can leave it out if you like! I’ve made it without the cream lots of times and it’s just as delicious.

You say to make sure everything is fully submerged... but then it isn't fully submerged? It looks like it comes maybe half-way up the tomatoes?
As long as the garlic is submerged you will be okay! Apologies for the confusion
I don't wanna lie, but I can never convince myself to add that much olive oil. I know that u explained it later to what to do with that, but its really too much.

So mine is exactly the same .. sans french shallots AND I didn’t blend it. I just love the pasta as is and when you got the perfect amount of garlic and tomato in a bite, its insane. I always make big portion so that I can eat it 2-3 days out the fridge 😂
