Hi Damo, My son took over my NC from me (2006 / 117k miles) when I bought an ND 30th Anniversary. I recognise the faults / niggles you highlight tho we're now feeling the effects of rust with a bit of welding required to pass the last MOT. Sticking front calliper is a classic and the price of parts meant we went for a replacement and no issues since. The gear change is lovely as it is in the ND but overall it's provided a real taste of rear wheel drive to my son who is now struggling to decide what to replace it with. As for me, well I'm due to take delivery of a replacement for the ND (still to decide if I'll sell it or keep it) in the form of an Alpine A110S - light weight, its infectious :) Cheers, Kevin

The front brake issue is definitely a binding calliper. I had the same issue on my 2011 NC, it's a very common issue. Don't make the mistake I did and changed just one caliper as the other side failed within 18 months or 4000 miles. I went through 2 sets of pads and discs within 18 months as the second failed caliper cooked the brake disc so could risk it having been warped. Best to change both calipers.
