here are my two cents: 1) The 2nd round G-Ann v. Wendy upset felt like a minor car accident at low speed in traffic. You just wish it didn’t have to be real as soon as it happens. But Trebek did level it out by crushing G-Ann at the end about her pregnancy. The reason it’s so rough is because he previously GUESSED WENDY WEIGHED 83 LBS. that’s fkn wild to do on TV haha. Love this show 😂 2) This was the fizzling out of the old-school game show styles and into the more clean and crispy Who Wants to Be A Millionaire styles. Trebek is pretty awkward in almost all of these but shows started to change quickly around this time and it’s fascinating to see. Lastly, “Stubborn as a mule” was a bruuutal puzzle for the *Tournament of Champions* if I’m honest. And thems are my 2¢
You think the creator of the show would of imagined that his late 80's early 90's game show would be this enjoyed in 20's. We came for Jim & Jake but its the show that's providing the set up.
