Results were about what I expected, that is with regards to reduced airflow. Still wonder how affective this off-brand HEPA filter is. None the less thanks for redoing the test! As for other accessories, would be interested in finding rain guards / window deflectors, especially for the R1S. (BestEVMod only has them for the R1T.) Besides the obvious benefit of leaving the windows vented and not having to worry about the rain getting in, I wonder if they will help with the air buffeting / thumping when certain windows are open. Don't know about the R1T but the air buffeting in the R1S can be downright painful on the ears.
Thank you for thee video sir! Great job! One thing that would concern me is the extra load on the HVAC fan. i would like to see the current to the fan before and after filter replacement, then compare to Rivian spec
I can tell you after watching this video and owning a Tesla and Rivian that Rivian made the process of changing the air filter way easier than Tesla. I’ve changed the filter on a tesla and it’s a pain in the rear.
You asked for feedback on what viewers might want to see on the channel. Since you were tracking software, how about more details on iPhone app features, icons, etc. since Rivian doesn’t seem to have a user guide for it.

I actually got those exact BestEvMod rain guards to test in a future video :)
Thanks Jose, this is good information.
You’re welcome
Thank you Jose! Great video, will order one. Reducing the airflow is not an issue for me
Glad to help

Ty Jose. informative.
Great video! Will have to test next smoke season here in the PNW. 😂
You should!

Yeah my old model y was a giant pain
Cybertruck is now the easiest for changing the cabin filter.
Thanks!! This video was helpful today!
Glad it helped!
I look at the reduced airflow as a benefit. Even at a fan speed of one, sometimes the airflow is too high for me. Still plenty on high.
Absolutely!

Sure! Thanks for the idea :)
When should I replace the Cabin Air filter in the Rivian?
That is up to you! You can always go check it out and see how dirty it is but it really depends on the air quality in your area.
Rivian says 1x yearly FWIW.
The black side go on the top and white side go on the bottom right
How often does this filter need to be replaced?
Being in Florida, I do it once a year
That's a tiny filter, my Model 3 takes 2 of them about that size. HEPA will definitely restrict air movement, if it's truly HEPA.
Yeah it’s small but still better than nothing
