The most important reason for the metal mesh I've found is that it prevents rodent ingress! I had to add metal mesh to a Honda Civic intake to prevent them from continually getting in and ruining the filter. It's definitely a feature I look for.
@@Andrea_eTi Right I should have been a bit more clear. What I mean is it prevents rodents from chewing through the filter. The Civic for example had seeds caught on the throttle blade and in the IAC valve and was causing big problems. I have had multiple air boxes with nests in the bottom portion, but luckily the rodents could not nest further in. It's most important for a car that has been sitting or if you live somewhere with a lot of rodents and such. Will also catch major debris if the rodents are persistent enough to chew mostly through. :)
Prefilter (white fleece) on M+H filter had a right description in your comment - it was designed for cold countries to stop snow and water which could wet the filter as much that could tear on some point - its needed in e.g. Scandinavia REALLY. Beside that it improves lifetime from 10-25% depending on the whole system design (airflows, circulation etc.).
Just installed a Hengst filter in my X3 F25. It was also made in Poland. Can confirm the fit and finish was excellent, noticably better then the OE Mahle that was removed. Definitely would like to try out their other filter products, but they don't seem to have the mass retail availability here in Canada compared with something like Mann. Thanks for the tests!
Best video ever. Thanks so much for taking the time and the scientific testing is first class. Great statistical analysis, production quality, summary and a bit of humour... Love it. Just earned you a new subscriber. Thanks.
Just visited the largest filter manufacturer in Bulgaria last month. I was very surprised that from the same production line were coming out filters for 9-10 producers in this video. The manager even confirmed that all the filters are the same.. they just print the brand and use different boxes. All producers give the manufacturer the characteristics of the materials they have to use, but it has a margin and if it falls in the quality specter of more producers.. they just use it! The bottom line is that, in most cases, you just pay for the brand.
No surprise. I worked in the buscuit industry and we produced similar products serving the mass-market right thro' to the big brands. To be fair, the ingredients were often tweaked to suit the client's spec.Packaging was thr main diffence tho'

Bought the first Hengst filters this year for the oil and filters change and discovered a really nice solid build to all of them. I have been buying and replacing my own filters for a while and have used, Mann(twice), Mahle and Knecht(5+ times) and the plus for the Hengst would be that for the cabin filter it has a sponge ring all around and it fits really snug in the frame(Mann, Knecht and Mahle do not) and the oil one seems to have the innner plastic frame more solid than the rest I have used. The price is similar to Mahle and Knecht.
I really appreciate this. Unfortunately, I do think your comments at the end are correct on the subject of different quality from different factories. I became a Mahle convert but found myself wondering if, for example, they bought a company like Clevite in the US and upgraded the factory or just put t heir name on it. It's probably a bit of both but I don't think many companies prioritize performance over profit when only the very occasional test like yours will ever reveal what they are actually selling. Ultimately, your fine work here will help those in your geographical area but only provide a single data point for the rest of us. I'd love to see a test of the same filter from as many factories as possible from one or more manufacturers. My Japanese and Chinese Mahle oil filters are nothing alike in outward appearance, as an example, so we're all guessing when we make a choice.
@@SergiuGabor The reason its because its from Romania, its like the fake oils from Turkey and Romania.Next time please try YACCO Oil!Its only made in France and there are not fake ones!Im really curious for the friction test!
Sergiu thank you for the content. I am extremely happy to see a product from Poland - Filtron. Put it more often to the tests so you will have more views in my country. Cheers!
Thank you for the well thought out testing procedures and the testing advice, I appreciate all the effort you put into this. I definitely will be purchasing the number one choice. I want nothing but the best for my truck. Air filtration is critical for the life of your engine. Your video is the best I have found thank you very much.
I live in a cold climate, use filters like Mann's, know the answer about the extra layer. It used for quite different than filtering snow. At temperatures below 0, water turns into ice and expands in their volume. If water somehow gets into the filter, at negative temperatures the filter will at least be freezed and will stop passing air. Also, the formed ice is able to break the the filter's folds. To prevent filter icing, the VW engine has an additional heating system. There is a separate valve and tube that brings warm air from the engine to filter's bottom. Thanks to that, the filter always stay dry. Soot also comes to the filter along with warm air. The extra layer is meant to hold her back. When the filter replaces and used one extracts, the surface of the additional layer is abundantly covered with something black, similar to soot. Confirm this, saw this many times. Air filters for cold climates are available from every manufacturer. Not only at Mann VW's partnumer - 1K0 129 620 L (made by Filtron) Mahle-LX1482 Bosch - F026 400 172 Purflux-A1217 For different filters, the additional layer is made of different materials with different thicknesses. The additional layer on Bosch filter is identical to that on Mann. All other properties makes to think the Bosch and the Mann (both made in Germany) are made on a same factory. The additional layer for Hengst, Ufi, Filtron filters looks the same. The additional layer for them is a few millimeters thicker, but softer. These three are also made in a factory in Poland, they look identical. The Mahle filter (made in Austria) has the thinnest extra layer, made of (foam rubber ?. I don't know how correctly translate this matherial's name to English) As the overall height of each filter must be constant, so where the extra layer is thicker, the height of the folds of the filter itself will be smaller. Wonder that "normal climate" Mann fails that way. Also looks wondering that almost the same build filters for cold/normal climate are made on factories in different countries.
I think I already know what brand of air filter will be my next choice. So far I have been using Mahle filters. Very good fit in the Astra H. The previous filter put in the service, was deformed. Poland has many factories that produce spare parts and consumables for many automotive brands and these are quite decent parts. In addition, the price is adapted to our market. I would be happy to try a Hengst brand filter. Thank you for this video, as usual top quality testing. Regards.
Mahle are excellent filters. Probably the best quality. Only downside: lower a bit the airflow but not as much as Mann filter. Hengst is not so good quality as Mahle but offers standard filtration and balance air flow. So Hengst is the best from all. The noise of your engine will slightly increase because of a slightly more air in the engine. In any case filters get blocked in short time so change it at least 2 times in a year.
Excellent!! The air filter is the most important filter and this type of data is hard to come by. Thank you. How could a filter catch more of the smaller particles than the large particles like the Mahle? Would also love to see additional oil filters tested!
Hey neighbour, great stuff, you are like romanian/european Project Farm :D! Most of these filters are available on my market so it's good to see their performance. I bought Wix for last service and Hengst for one before that, will stick with Hengst and visually check quality control better when I'm buying. Also for my car all filter brands makes them with both that winter coat and metal mesh, like it's some sort of standard. Pozdrav iz Srbije
Very good test as always! I'm shocked that the Mann filter with the white layer filters that much more, I thought it was useless for other than snow as I've read online. It never snows around here so I always take it off since it's not glued (it's a cylinder filter) also for the sake of bigger airflow as I've tested it with a blower. Guess I'll put it back then. You deserve much more subscribers, keep the good work !
I live in a colder climate and here you should use filters "for cold climates". The reason (as I understand it) has nothing to do with the snow getting into the filter. Instead, it has to do with the fact that in the spring, when the snow has melted and the roads have dried up, the roads are full of large amounts of fine dust. Therefore, the pre-filter is needed to handle the large amounts of road dust that the cars is exposed to.
Great job, excellent content. Today I was looking for parts for an oil and filter service, and I came across this video through a forum. Without watching it, I would have chosen completely different products, not necessarily good ones, and unfortunately more expensive. Thank you very much for preparing this material. Thumbs up and subscription done, now I’m off to watch more videos.
I like BluePrint (Bilstein) filters. Even in my Megane 2. Really nice price and quality, just 4 euros for an air filter! Renault also uses that kind of coarse pre-filter on top of the filter pleats. I would like to see another round with BluePrint, JC Premium, Meyle, SCT Germany, Mfilter, Stark, Kamoka, Topran, etc if it's possible :P
Great test! I bought one of each hengst and alco. My 2nd hand car had purflux in it and just from looking at them hengst was best, alco was 2nd, purflux was last!
Great job! I'm living in Poland and didn't even know that Hengst is made in Poland. Normally i was using Mann (made in Germany) but prices are crazy now. Thank You!
I do not think that all Hengst Filters are made in Poland. I gought one for Honda civic and it says made in Bulgaria. I guess that anything made in EU is higher quality irrespective of country of production as they apply same quality standards. And it seems to be true that Polands produces a lot of spare parts for automotive industry and they are becoming experts at it. It has become a good quality hub. I have bought Kormoran tyres made in Poland factory owned by Michelin. I guess Michelin uses their technology for it to produce normal good quality and good price tyres.
Alco looks like the best choice to me! Obviously the OE filter is great, but it costs a lot more. Plus I want to keep those rodents out. Really awesome testing you've done! I'd also like to see AEM dry flow and Spectre filters. Last comment I swear. ;)
Hello, all the filter producer buy the filter media from a handfull of suppliers. There are actually only two good suppliers for flame retardant filter media in the (european) market. One with 50 mm line distance (on the clean side) and one with 30 mm. Under dry conditions nearly all filter elements perform well but under wet conditions you can see the difference. This is due the different resin and saturation technology, which is used at the media supplier. Best regards WH
Hello and thank you for great test. It was BIG surprise for me that MANN is so bad after all i thought last 10 years it is quality product. I will next time buy Hengst filters.
I bought the Wix cause long time ago you tested it and was good :) But still I live in a very clean area so it's always super clean when I do the yearly check up. I paid like 3€ for it
The prefilter on the mann Is to avoid the main filter to get wet. I m not worried by the curvature of the gasket, the lid of the airbox compress the filter.
for the Mann filter, the cold climate version. The flat filter is for humidity, to help condensation and not let the humidity into the filter so that paper can risk bursting/tearing apart.
I have Renault Fluence 1.5DCI automatic I have a regular Mann filter installed for 8000 KM now. I tried to switch to Champion with additional layer and it was a nightmare the whole behavior and engine response and the torque got a lot worse I didn't knew my car any more after few dozen miles I put back my old Mann and the smile came back to my face I just will sell or dump the Champion and maby try the Bosch it looks like a sweet spot in terms of quality air flow and particle retention
Mann gives the best performance to your engine, thats why its not filtering more like the others. they purposefully make this so, their filters are very well balanced for enough air and filtering. stick with Mann filter if you want your car to perform like it should!
The problem is that even the same brand and model (I have a couple of those filters, since my car has the same filter model), they aren't from same location, and look very different. For instance, that UFI looks completely different from the one I have, which is WHITE and NOT YELLOW! But, very good review!! PS: Would like to see the cheap Ridex brand from Autodoc!

I have been using K&N Air filters for the last 20 years, with a pre-filter for peace of mind, expensive but cleaned every 100,000 kilometres they provide very clean air, I have an LPG system and that tended to almost choke at traffic lights, until I fitted the K&N air filter, now I would use no other filter. I have used them on my Subaru, Mercedes S-Class and now my Mercedes Viano, all of which were used as Taxis! I am surprised you didn´t test the K&N filter? BTW, the second filter you were confused on, it is a take off the K&N Pre Filter which stops the big bits of dirt before it even gets near the filter itself! Very good idea and prolongs filter life.
You've discovered the American standard! Fram spends a ton of money on advertising and their products vary from good to extremely sub par. Seems all those Polish filters are nearly identical if not the same.
Wix has purchased Filtron factory, that has been producing decent filters since 1970's or earlier. Different brands from the same factory. Maybe different production lines and batches of material. Some brands are better than Filtron-oids that are still quite OK. I wonder why Fram sucks at every test and has not bankrupted yet?

Dear Sergio from the other day when I discovered your channel I was just delighted that such a thing exists or that there is someone who really tests automotive products realistically and without any intention to promote any of these products or to have the influence of sponsorship, which is a rarity nowadays and so thank you very much for informing us and showing us the truth. Furthermore, I am your companion from Bosnia and Herzegovina and there are certain oils and filters on our market that I would like to be tested on your channel, and here are the brands I think are also present in the markets of Croatia and Serbia. 5W-30 C3 and C4 motor oils from FUCHS-TITAN, GERMAN OIL , INA PAO , and COMMA and of the filters, I primarily mean the testing of oil filters, and the most common are those with affordable prices, following brands FILTRON, KAMOKA, ASHIKA and HENGST here is that modest query and everyone would be grateful for the test in some future time and I am sure that at least most of these brands are available for testing Best regards and thank you very much for the tests so far
The man filter cold climate is just like the one I use on my Toyota Corolla Verso 2.2 D4D, it’s very long lasting and why it’s like that it could be due to capturing bigger particles and leave the paper filter the small particles , if that’s the reason well, only engineers that design this will be able to comment. Good Work!
I think the white pad on the Mann cold climate filter is to help with filtering salt road salt? As for snow I can see how it might help in a snow storm.
Thanks to you and the presentation of the led bulbs, I bought from Amazon (there was no one in Romania) bulbs from Bevinsee, the best investment ever, thank you very much for the hard work! I can't describe how well the headlights light up the road at night.
Hi Sergiu, very good videos and thank your for your investment. I have one question: why did you put the particles counter underneath the filter and not in the outlet tube? It may be more representative as for now, the particles counter may struggle to battle against the air flow of the leaf blower and not catches all the particles (less repeatable result). And as it is directly underneath, it may catches bigger particles that would otherwise maybe not be sucked by the engine. Also, if you want to try the new setup (as the method must be tested to see ifs better or worst) I can provide you particles standard (with a certificate of analysis, with mean size distribution and stdev) that would greatly improves the repeatability of your testing (I'm working as a metrology engineer in pharmaceutical R&D).

Great video! Thank you so much for your hard work in testing! I've made all my oil and filter choices based on your videos. I put Motul in my car and all Mahle filters. However, all of the filters I got were made in Austria and seemed very high quality. Previously, the Mahle cabin air filter made in Germany beat the Hengst one. Is it possible, that the Mahle products manufactured in Romania are of lower quality than the austrian ones? What do you think? Should I use Mahle oil and cabin air filter and Hengst cabin air filter then? It would be really interesting to see if there's a difference between filters made in different countries, e.g. Mahle from Austria and Romania.

Am văzut că au pe codul de bare 642, deci îs făcute / ambalate la noi.
I have bought Mahle and Mann for my car in the past, both sucked on the fitment, a few days ago I ordered Hengst, after watching this video I hope I might have a winner now.
Excellent & thorough testing Sergiu. I had already opted for the Bosch filter before watching this presentation & was glad to see it had a fairly good rating. Keep these very interesting tests coming! 👍
Amazing work. Medium overall curvature is not that much problem and not may affect rating, because you always cover it with half of air filter plastic cover and tighen with screws = filter is between two plastic flat parts = filter will be flat
Sergiu, I just finished watching both of your filter videos, and they confirmed my research: that high flow, cloth filters don't do anything but pass more dirt. There's also the problem with putting too much oil on them, which can end up on the MAF sensor and cause more problems. For my car, I had to go with the OEM air filter because it fits better. I tried two or three different aftermarket filters, but neither of them fit in the airbox properly. The filters all sealed at the intake, as they're cylindrical in shape. However, the filter was too long to fit; to make it shorter, one had to squeeze the filter at both ends, which kinked the filter media. The OEM filter, while snug, fits. It also has a tab on it, which helps to guide the filter in to the airbox. SO! For me and my car, the OEM air filter was the best and only option.
Much appreciation for the finer details !! It`s hard to find the particule size information these days. You should do another video for short ram intakes comparing higher end filters like Airaid, AEM, Burger, Corksport and of course the most advertised mainstream so to speak K&N...
Great video! I feel this same test should be done for a JAPANESE chicle, specifically Honda/Toyota. From my experience Japanese quality is always tops and I'd suspect the OEM filter to perform the best overall in terms of performance vs filtration.
The best brand is the one that has not only good, but consistent quality products, because with this kind of disposable components you can do serious damage if there is a real fault. I've been using bosch in the last years for oil, air, cabin and fuel filters because they were readily available and well priced. They seem good to me, and the quality is very consistent, so I can trust.
Thanks, Sergiu. Awesome content and surprising results. I have mostly fitted Purflux and Mahle filters in my car, but oh boy, I am confused now. Bosch looks like balanced deal overall if you'd like filters from one brand, so does Hengst as well. But I think I will continue to use Mahle regardless, for my car as per OE you have the additional layer and I have read that is supposedly dust shield, rather than cold climate one as Mann maybe advertising. I wonder what your opinion is one that? Cheers and keep up the good work!
The Mann dusty conditions filter is just like their normal air filter except the paper pleats are deeper. Presumably for more surface area to prevent it blocking too quickly. Be interested to know if there were benefits (or the opposite) of using a dusty conditions filter in normal environments.

Hi I really love your comparisons under filtration systems and wanted to ask if you can do a video on what the best filtration systems would be for a service kit for VAG cars. I would like the best combination for my SEAT Alhambra but I'm unsure which ones to get as there are so many filters in the market
Hey, I'm not an expert, but got a few thoughts: 1. What makes you think the filter media is folded only because it increases the surface area (and therefore making the filter more effective)? I'd say this layout provides a much higher structural rigidity, which prevents from bursting the media by changing the angle of the media to the air flow and also 'naturally' removes the flapping effect that the flat media would create (I guess that's beneficial for the intake gases flow). 2. Judging the quality of the media by its surface area is quite misleading. The thicker the media - the less amount of folds it allows fitting into the filter, and vice versa. So, in theory, for a given media you can achieve the same level of filtration by using a larger surface area of thin media OR smaller surface area of thick media. 3. What exactly does weight tell us about the quality of the filter? Does thicker media filter better? Only if we're comparing the same media material (which is not the case between different brands of filters). Otherwise, it doesn't provide us any meaningful info. 4. Barcode only shows the country where the manufacturer’s business is based, which can be different from the manufacturing plant location. Anyway, big thanks for your effort!
Can you do the testing of Magnatec Stat Stop vs Castol Edge LL? Or just tell me, which one is better for mostly city driving with heavy traffic? Hey man, bit too late but i'm still hoping you'll see this and that it will be somewhat useful information for some future tests. Original VW/Audi filter actually does have manufacturer indicated on it; UF3 which stands for Unico Filter which is indeed located in Bosnia and Herzegovina(where VW also HAD manufacturing plants) but that company is owned by Mann. As far as i know they've been making OE filters for them since MK3(1H0) up until MK5(1K0) and after that they switched to Mann or Mahle, depending on the model/year. I actually went to dealership to get air filter for my B5 Passat TDI and it's basically Mahle(Made in Austria) in VW box but fits perfectly unlike some shown here which usually had horrible fitment for some reason, Bosch being the best of them all regarding that. Great video by the way, these are super fun to watch and also very interesting!
Sergiu! I'm from Poland and have been using only filtron filters. People in the Internet or different car forums say they arn't of good quality. To my humble opinion they are wrong. All my previous cars still drvive without any problems. What do You think of filtron filters. I can't tell a difference but see the price difference.
Hey, i ve been using filtron for too many years, never had any problem, top notch quality.besides, it is similar to mann and cheaper knowing that they are the same company, i also found oem filter cars made by filtron which means the credit is earned ! Would go for filtron all they way man
Excellent video, I came to the same opinion of the top three as your video was going. I do wonder though with the noticeably different element fibers under microscope of the two Mann filters (long time favorite personally) and the Wix that is their same manufacturer, that perhaps it just happens what batch your filter came from? At least the differences in particle retention and the variations in fibers. I would almost suggest you do the exact same test all over again, order the sane filters and compare each of their results to the last time. Maybe Champion got lucky. I put one of those in my 85 Eldorado lately and the fitment of the dense sticky rubber brim was awkward. Maybe their filtration is always this good, or maybe you got a good one from a good batch

I was so confident that Mahle will be the best, many thanks for your video, you did an awesome job :D . Hengst is next! :)
Me too 😅 that's why I have Mahle filters on my car.
Cheers!
Man 80% of the filters in the video are made in Poland 😀
Tam jest więcej filtrów z Polski i wygrał hengst, który jest produkowany w Polsce, ale nie da się go u nas kupić.
Not only at Mann
VW's partnumer - 1K0 129 620 L (made by Filtron)
Mahle-LX1482
Bosch - F026 400 172
Purflux-A1217
For different filters, the additional layer is made of different materials with different thicknesses.
I don't know how correctly translate this matherial's name to English)
As the overall height of each filter must be constant, so where the extra layer is thicker, the height of the folds of the filter itself will be smaller.
Wonder that "normal climate" Mann fails that way. Also looks wondering that almost the same build filters for cold/normal climate are made on factories in different countries.
Sergiu, make a diesel glow plug test. I have seen a lot of differences in performance between different brands
Just get a Bosch. They make almost all ECUs and the injection systems anyway...
yes i would like to see diesel glow plug test very much too. Beru, Denso, Meyle, Bosch, to see which one gets the hotest and afterglow retainment
@@erolserif5357 Meyle is an absolute shit. Do not confuse it with the quality brand Mahle!
@@DashCamSerbia in my car, opel astra 2015, the factory fitted ones are made by BERU.. But i would like to see how are the other brands performing.
I bought a Hengst air filter for my car, thank you so much for your hard work. It's much appreciated you are the best! Merry Chrismas.
I have fitted Hengst filters in my Car, glad to see they perform great
Hengst keeps impressing... A shame about Purflux... I still remember them being up there for may years...
This is my newly found favourite channel. Well done! More service part content please! Oils, filters, flushes, etc. Love it.
I would like to see another round with BluePrint, JC Premium, Meyle, SCT Germany, Mfilter, Stark, Kamoka, Topran, etc if it's possible :P
i also use dreisner, very low price ,but they look very good
Thanks to this video you now know they're not that good.

Un test la uleiurile 5w40 si la filtrele de motorina, ar fii super! Faci o treaba buna! Spor in continuare.
Alco looks like the best choice to me! Obviously the OE filter is great, but it costs a lot more. Plus I want to keep those rodents out. Really awesome testing you've done! I'd also like to see AEM dry flow and Spectre filters. Last comment I swear. ;)
@Peter Angles I'm not a fan of oiled filters in general. 😬
Hello,
all the filter producer buy the filter media from a handfull of suppliers.
Salut, imi plac foarte mult testele pe care le faci, felicitari 👏. Un test pentru uleiurile din grupa 5w40 pe cand ?🤔
How comes Hengst is better than k&n 🤔
Hello and thank you for great test.
It was BIG surprise for me that MANN is so bad after all i thought last 10 years it is quality product.
I will next time buy Hengst filters.
I bought the Wix cause long time ago you tested it and was good :)
But still I live in a very clean area so it's always super clean when I do the yearly check up.
I've never seen that happen, ever.
I have Renault Fluence 1.5DCI automatic I have a regular Mann filter installed for 8000 KM now. I tried to switch to Champion with additional layer and it was a nightmare the whole behavior and engine response and the torque got a lot worse I didn't knew my car any more after few dozen miles I put back my old Mann and the smile came back to my face
I just will sell or dump the Champion and maby try the Bosch it looks like a sweet spot in terms of quality air flow and particle retention
Mann gives the best performance to your engine, thats why its not filtering more like the others.
they purposefully make this so, their filters are very well balanced for enough air and filtering.
stick with Mann filter if you want your car to perform like it should!
Thank you. This video helped me decide between Wix and OEM filters for my Ford.
The problem is that even the same brand and model (I have a couple of those filters, since my car has the same filter model), they aren't from same location, and look very different. For instance, that UFI looks completely different from the one I have, which is WHITE and NOT YELLOW!
But, very good review!!

Purflux is not what it used to be. Caused me many problems. Hengst is my favorite filter at the moment.
@@yeahbucka3005 I honestly think it's down to good marketing and products that work just well enough to avoid lawsuits, hahaha. Wix is def a fav of mine, but yes even their products can vary.

The extra filter on the Mann filter is possibly to help stop dust getting into it,genuine Land Rover filters and some aftermarket options have this.

from the other day when I discovered your channel I was just delighted that such a thing exists or that there is someone who really tests automotive products realistically and without any intention to promote any of these products or to have the influence of sponsorship, which is a rarity nowadays and so thank you very much for informing us and showing us the truth.
Furthermore, I am your companion from Bosnia and Herzegovina and there are certain oils and filters on our market that I would like to be tested on your channel, and here are the brands I think are also present in the markets of Croatia and Serbia.

and of the filters, I primarily mean the testing of oil filters, and the most common are those with affordable prices, following brands
FILTRON, KAMOKA, ASHIKA and HENGST
here is that modest query and everyone would be grateful for the test in some future time and I am sure that at least most of these brands are available for testing
Best regards and thank you very much for the tests so far
I live in a colder climate and here you should use filters "for cold climates". The reason (as I understand it) has nothing to do with the snow getting into the filter.
I'm planning on testing this in a future video. There's definitely a difference in quality depending on the manufacturing location of each company.

Just as a quick notice on an old video. VAG group uses MANN as OEM airfilters and Hengst as oilfilters
Mann are not good filters to use both oil and air. Why? They lower the flow of air and oil. Not a good balance. And cheaply made.

I love youre videos. You definitely dont get enough credit for the work you do here. Ma bucur ca am descoperit canalul tau ✌🏼
The best brand is the one that has not only good, but consistent quality products, because with this kind of disposable components you can do serious damage if there is a real fault.
I've been using bosch in the last years for oil, air, cabin and fuel filters because they were readily available and well priced. They seem good to me, and the quality is very consistent, so I can trust.
what about Meyle brand? it's big and established, why are they not in your comparisons?

Hey, I'm not an expert, but got a few thoughts:
Thank's for the great review Sergiu.
Really good work doing this analysis. Thank you for doing the work and sharing with us.
