Another great thing about classic prestige... People will have to use different guns and perks when they reset their ranks. So not everybody will be using the same meta loadouts and classes. Very good thing for variety. It makes levelling your guns up more fun as not everyone is running meta guns.

Most people just don't prestige and those who truly grind get to prestige 4-5 easily and have their Meta unlocks, and their first unlock will be the best AR in the game and will just play with that a lot as they grind back up. Exactly what I did in every single cod like Bo2 you just unlocked the An94 and you were good using that until prestige 2 then you unlock whatever next. So no this idea don't work and not the reason why prestige is good as this has no effect on that really.

That happened to me in BO3. It was my first cod game and I had no idea, I also got called a Christmas Noob right after prestiging in that game, good times 😂
I liked being that guy that kicked ass and never prestiged his profile. I honestly never cared for it. I just miss the simple days of killing and respawning for twelve hours. I hate the battle royal concept and that's what really killed the franchise.
I do wonder their re-engagement numbers. Because I know the past few years I have fun for the first month or so and then get bored and move onto something else. The only except was mw2019 because warzone dropped and I grinded that a lot
im hoping they bring back a certain system for the camos like back in the day with bloodthirstys and all that get all guns gold get the master camo was a hard but fun grind and felt really rewarding
my biggest concern is that need to keep on their servers especially the packet burst and packet loss issues that have been happening that had made the game unstable lately
WW2 had the best reward system imo, the classic prestige system with prestige tokens, the camos, the weapon charms, THE UNLOCKABLE RETICLES, the daily and weekly challenges to unlock reward crates and weapon skins or “blueprints” it was the most rewarding unlock system in a cod game I have experienced, and it had fun modes like prop hunt and the HQ thing where you could like emote glitch and move around while emoting, it was so fun haha, I hope black ops 6 has similar cool stuff like in that game
Overall for Black Ops 6, as far as playable operators are concerned, just permanently kill off all guest character operators related to movies, music, pop culture etc. It was pathetically stupid to have guest like music artist, iconic movie characters in Cod literally.
I just hope it keeps me entertained and wanting to keep playing bc yes I’m 24 but cod has been bad recently ever since bo4 and ive played all of them but the old ones I could play all day all night everyday now I get a couple days in on a new update then I’m done again till the next one I hope it keeps me in it the whole time

Bringing back the Prestige system is a good huge step forward now theres only a couple other things they need too implement and i think we all know what they are unfortantley i dont think those things will happen.
Nah COD will remain a good memory in my mind, but I'll never buy a new one. The last one I've bought was BO2 in 2012. Great game. As good as BO, my favorite one. Mw3 was amazing and had a huge content when it came out too. That was peak CoD.

I think a blueprint and camo reward system would be great for prestige rewards. Give a blueprint each prestige. Make a few like 3, 6 and 9 come with Mastercrafts. Give universal camos at a few of the others and at grand master.
This will be nice for one game and then taken away and meaningless next year. They really need to stick to one game and just update it. This is the reason I moved to XD. Zombies and story oughta be good tho

The only way I’m using the system is if all my guns and attachment stay when I prestige. Otherwise it’s a useless feature that I won’t use, but anyone who wants to use it go for it. I only have an hour to two a day to play anyways.

i grinded up to 10th prestige on Cold War because once you do you can unlock a tenth prestige icon from previous cods. It glitched out and didnt let me unlock the gold cross from Cod4 .....

This is the way it should be, the traditional way. Prestige and EVERYTHING resets bar unlocked camos. Everyone wants everything handed to them these days. That’s why cod used to have longevity.

I don’t think the new cod players will like the classic prestige i personally never liked reunlock items but i always use my unlock tokens which kinda made it bearable especially with certain perks 😂 dealing with uav spam

I hate hate modern warfare prestige xp is worthless late in the season cod needs ways to keep people round full season that’s why I think one of mw3s strongest new feature are the weekly challenges and associated aftermarket parts they keep the game fresh and fun
