I feel this sentiment so hard. It's tough, but on the other hand, sometimes there IS no one else to do it, and you have to do it yourself if you want anything to get finished. It definitely can become a grind but there is also the freedom to explore whatever interests you musically, which is less common in a band setting. Like anything, there are pros and cons, I suppose.
