I've had a pair of 1460 Snowplow for about 4 years now, and it's one of the best pairs of Docs I've ever worn; really comfy, has good soft leather, and the soles are long-lasting.
I've had a pair of these for about 4 years now. I like them for the same reason I like other Docs (I think they're cool looking, and I find Docs to be comfortable for me. They fit my feet very well). I work at a hockey rink, and I found that the waterproofing and warmth was good, but even brand new, the traction was not much better than other Docs tbh. Funny that Docs advertise their soles as the distinguishing thing about their boots, but the soles are what I have always considered one of the worst parts.
It's been a long time since I had a pair of Docs,. I need a new winter boots and saw these. I had been undecided because of whether they would be warm enough and also the price. However, since viewing/listening to your review I'm now definitely going to buy them. Thanks very muchly.
Loved your video bro! Also I just bought mine a couple weeks ago, the blazzer ones, havent tried them yet because of the lockdown, I actually copped them on sale and also there was an extra discount, so its pretty much a steal for me, and yup as you mentioned earlier you dont even need to break them in at ALL! ( i live in Canada too thats why i bought them, it could get to -40💀)
@@Fodaydontplay rightt! Its too cold here i have been in canada for almost 4 months thats why lol. Also I bought them from little burgundy if you know the store, they were on the boxing day deals section:).
Great video pal, and good to hear they're holding up well for you and keep you warm and safe👌. I love how Doc's look with Sweatpants 🥰. I totally get what you mean about the winter version being expensive for how much you'd get to wear them with them being a boot purely for winter and what you said about the sole is so true, no sole can ever been totally relied on to keep you upright, although I've never fallen over in any of my Doc's, I don't have any winter versions, as I think they're just too expensive for the wear you'd get, it's different if you live in a cold country and can wear them most of the time, but I think for most people, regular Docs would be perfectly fine all year round 👌 Have you got them muddy yet?
@@Fodaydontplay Aw nice, bet they looked great with mud on them 😁. It's rare that I clean my Doc's as I prefer them looking worn, I do wipe the Leather down with a cloth and water and then condition it with Wonder Balsam, about once to twice a year to stop the Leather cracking, but other than that I don't clean them. How do you like your Doc's pal, Clean and shined up or the worn/dirty and scuffed up look?
@@Fodaydontplay Awesome 🤙. That's the great thing about docs, they look great either scuffed up/dirty or clean and conditioned 👌 Can't wait to see more of your Doc's collection pal 😁
@@Fodaydontplay I just bought a size 9 but my size is 7.5 and it's fits me and I bought it in a 2nd hand shop here in 🇯🇵 I'm so happy it cost only 9k yen
I am sure you can but I don’t know how durable it will be every winter. I wonder how the rubber part will hold up. Also the inside is thick for summertime.
Is it worth noting to wear them 2-3months... Well yes cause I'm from East coast so u know it's always cold here so out of the 12 months it's about 7 months of cold weather 😂
lol.. I am from the east coast too.. Are you from the northern part? I bought the Dr Martens winter boots when I was in North Dakota. The coldest winters of my life 🥶
Why would you go ice skating with Dr. Marten boots on? Wth are you talking about? I’ve had mine (the originals) for over 2 years and they still Have traction. I ride dirt bikes with them, motorcycles and have worn them traveling.
I could just listen to this guy’s voice all day
Thanks you! I wish I could talk all day 😌

I’m happy I could help.. you’ll like them
Do you recommend using the beeswax or protectant on this specific boot?
Just ordered 1460 Trinity Wintergrip Waterproof boots, really hope the last for years. they were 240 euros plus shipping
They should.. 😱 240 is a lot
Thanks for the video mate. Check on the song "I die with my boots on" by the band Crux. :)
Okay.. Good song.. thanks

Yeah if you want to
So calm
Thanks
Thank you for this video
Thanks for watching... I really appreciate it.
This goofy individual appreciates this information! ✌🏽
Thanks.. I am glad i could help
Are these appropriate for wet floors in the kitchen? Will they work in terms of slip resistance?
You should be fine with them
If I’m size 11 are they true to size
It depends.. do you have wide feet ?
Is the tractions of the originals is same as this winter blizzard? Thank you
The originals do not have the rubber traction sole. The winter boots do
@@Fodaydontplay I see so the winter boots is best traction for black ice?
@@renzatienza4667 yes it is

Is it still recommend for using in hot weather like country who has two seasons?

Question: do these squeak alot when walking around indoors
no they do not
The boots are Slip RESISTANT
Even slip resistant on soapy floors!😅😂 love them

I do not think anyone is going ice-staking with Docs on. I was talking about black ice during the wintertime.
They aren’t expensive for a winter boot.
Lol.. yeah you’re right
Yeah they don’t look as stylish as other docs
Yeah.. they are more functional
Your on the camera to much. Show the shoes man. 90% shoes 10% you. 🤦🏻♂️
lol.. I’ll work on it
Here is the review of the boots..
