- A murder from 25 years ago may finally be solved after a man confessed to a TV station and police that he was among those responsible for the killing. Brian Hawkins confessed to the killing of Frank McAlister, 19, who was stabbed to death during a robbery in 1993, Redding police said. Hawkins first went to a television station in Redding to discuss his actions before going to the police, according to KRCR-TV. I think what he means is that his life was ruined because he killed someone that didn’t deserve to die. I’d imagine that if you kill someone like that it takes a toll on you
He probably just wanted steal from him but two other decide kill him
@@nokina3 that seems decently likely peer pressure do be real.
That's what he meant.
@@Simmoshu what I am saying is he actually had his life.
It takes a lot of courage to finally come forward. He could have continued to keep the secret, but he didn't knowing that he would potentially be put away for life. I hope the courts showed mercy on this man. It looks like his life hasn't been a very good one since this incident.
I hope this wonderful man finds peace and learns to forgive himself for a bad decision made on a bad day so many years ago. I hope too, that franks family can forgive him and all these people can heal at last.
wonderful? Lol
the amount of people in this world that could have dark secrets in their past exactly like this sheesh, imaginee
"Imagine all the people"- John
You can truly see in his face how much guilt and regret he's been carrying throughout the years. It took him a long time but the fact that he turned himself in shows he's changed. A murder is a murder, but I still hope he gets lesser sentence just because he showed clear remorse. His last phrase about the kid and himself not having been able to live a life, is very powerful.
Sometimes guilt is overbearing.
Every guilty person is his own hangman
