I've had my fiddle about 5 months now. I started playing this song by ear and didn't even know what the title was. Then it rang a bell. "Kentucky Waltz" of course. I love the way you play it as well as a lot of others you teach. I'll figure it all out eventually. Great Job!
I am a teacher and we are going to UIL competition. We are doing a play about coal miners in the 1930’s. I would like to use about 20-40 seconds of the Kentucky Waltz for a scene in the play. Is there anyway that you would give us permission to use your music? How can I get in touch with you?
+Máté Szabó Hi, Mate. I use both a L.R. Baggs piezo bridge and a custom made condenser microphone suspended over the F-hole of the violin. In this case, that signal was augmented by using SM-81 and Neumann room microphones. Hope that helps, sir!
Nope, James. Not your computer, sir. We have fixed that in the more recent videos (since 2015ish) and we have plans to go back and boost audio on these older videos at some point. Carry on!

I am not learning to play the fiddle, however I love how you play this piece. I have listened to it many times, and it is my favorite. Thank you!
Beautiful waltz tune!

+FIDDLEVIDEO thank you!
It may be my computer, but Your voice isn't as loud as the fiddle. If I turn it up the fiddle is too loud. Probably just my computer.
