- This video is to completely demonstrate how I am able to drive from beginning to end of a trip as a C4-C5 complete quadriplegic using the EMC Aevit 2.0 driving control system. I also talk about my experience acquiring my driver's license in the city of Chicago Illinois.

@@Quad12Walk my injury was back in May 2012. I purchased this vehicle out of pocket from another individual that was selling it. And it ended up being a lot less $ than having to go through vocational rehab and their requirements for funding.
Great job. On your video. I just purchased a 2008 Honda Odyssey. with this System in it.. I'm AC5 C6 incomplete quadriplegic. I use regular hand controls so this. system is really touchy for me. It's really sensitive. Gona look for a dealer here in Mesa, AZ to see if I can get somebody to adjust it before I sell it. Your vehicle looks like it Drives a lot smoother ON the accelerator and the breaking part.. Great job.

Brian, I really enjoyed your Video. My name is Hugo and I have MD. I stopped driving a Sienna Van with rear entry with no special control, 2 years ago. I have saved money to invest on a side entry VAN with EMC controls. I live in Utah and I called EMC requesting information but they want me to go to an Evaluator first. The closest Evaluator that I could find was in Tempe, AZ. they want about $6000 for Clinical, Physical and Driving. I cannot see their Van until I complete all Clinical, Physical, cost $1150, before I can enter the Van after spending the $1150. I do not know you how you were able to buy your equipped Van and bypass these Evaluator Robbers. Please, shed some light on how you accomplish the purchase of the Van and of the EMC equipment including installation without having to go to an Evaluator. Thanks for your any help you can give me. I also ask other members of this group to weigh in.

If you are currently working or are planning to work, you can have vocational rehab work with you to cover modification expenses.
Awesome 👏 I am going to try to get the endorsement on my license soon 🤞 and it is something that I have over complicated for years now, the biggest obstacles we face is often in our minds.

I bought a van like that with a hand control emc aevit 2.0 but the controls is different from the one you have it is just one joystick that do everything , so I bought the same hand
controls that you have to replaced it , doing that the van already have aevit 2.0 I think that I can just add the controls, the hard part is find someone to install 😩
