THIS GUY IS AMAZING!!!!! I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS CONTENT IS FREE thank you so much i recently started my vfx career because i get inspired by your thanos tutorials im so gratefull and also i signed up to the vfx bootcamp BEST COURSE EVER THANKS ALLAN !!
Hit like before it even began - just what I needed now, studying TyFlow and wondered what to do with animated or rigged meshes. Thanks in advance mr. McKay!
@@AllanMcKay Would be great to see the workflow of getting rigged animated meshes to actually rip apart by the joints - I'm guessing by combining the skin ripping worflow from your other tutorial with this actor behavior.
Thank you Allan! Should be nice a tutorial where zombies have different behaviors as they approach the target. For example, they raise their hands more as if they want to grab the target
@@AllanMcKay It's well deserved. Have You thought about doing TyFlow courses ? I mean begginer/Advanced/Master classes ? I bet many people would pay for those kind of tutorials. I know I would :)
Thanks Allan, amazing video! I would like to see more content about tyflow in conjunction with Phoenix (I saw the phoenix's UI bar on your max) ;) maybe some xplotion or smoke trails following tyflow particles. Thanks again and keep bringing knowledge to the community. Best!
Definitely! Thanks German! I will be putting out a lot of phoenix stuff soon just trying to put some stuff out inbetween set and travel. But going to be putting out a free course in 2 weeks time that is heavy on the Phoenix side! :)
Amazing, this is just what I've been looking for. Trying to create a crowd sim for Archviz and I've finally managed to get a Mixamo rig in to biped, so now to crowd-ify.
Allan, another great tutorial thank you! You know one effect I'd love to see is a tidal wave destroying a shore line. Or even just a nice stormy ocean scene, I've tried creating a stormy ocean with Phoenix before and I just haven't nailed the look yet.
Haha cheers Brad! Definitely been fun doing these - actually I just looked through my archives and I've recorded at least 10 more videos in the past 3 months that I never got around to posting. So definitely lots of stuff coming! Thanks again for the motivation brother 👊
great advanced tutorial that really push great tyflow into different production areas. I have to watch this couple of more times. ...You asked for ideas for next tutorials; I allways find odd that hollywood postproduction rarely takes care of putting on warer wapor fumes while actors talk faking cold. So your take on wapor sim triggered by talk would be interesting. And also lets put a sticking snow into a proxy mesh fitted onto actor. I think its a good tut for upcoming winter :)
Allan its very good and details training of ty crowd and plz tell me one question about ty crowd is how to do texture in tow different characters using in tyActor node if i applying using multisub materials tyflow apply only 1 ID i am also using MatID node on tyflow but cant solve my problem .hope you understand if any body know plz help only texturing issue on multiple character .thanks
Many thanks Allan, awesome tutorial. There are some basic crowd tutorials but none seem to cover materials. ie. how can I apply materials to multiple characters. Especially if the character has sub materials.
Would be great if you make a tutorial on twister in tyflow and in addition like crowd is running and some people's gets pulled in the twister. Thank you.
@@AllanMcKay would love to see your prospective like how will you make characters fly into the twister and the what cool and amazing kind of twister you will create really looking forward to this.
That s great and tnx , could u please explain how assign matrial to two actors in one tyflow sim , because we can add two or three actor to sim , but i don’t know how assign exactly their materials precisely !? Tnx in advance 🌟
A question I had when using a particle Speed, what do you do for animations of different speeds, aka a walk and run cycle? I have a walk and run cycle in my character, but obviously one is sliding more than the other because the run is faster than the walk and the particle speed is constant. Do I have to have 2 different whole character events with different particle speeds?
anyone had a success to repeat this on .16057 ?? my characters slide under Speed influence starts from 30:00 this tut wont work for me, any help please
Thank you very much for this tutorial but how can you work on this count of particles without any tyflow crashes coz i work on half that count and faces lots of crashes with a super machine
Another super tuto Allan. thanks for sharing! Lot's of people like me using mixamo for downloading fun mocap....but the anim is coming in fbx with bones....very difficult for me to convert in catrig or max dummy. how can i play the downloaded .fbx in the same place? ...tyflflow "force biped in place mode" don't work.
but maybe you shouldn't forget to tell us that running the final animation will cause a black hole in our your rooms :D But wait, i did i just see some hidden frames between frame 26 and 27 XD. ,9 Nice Tutorail l^^ Luve

That's so great Daniel! I appreciate it brother and I hope you find this valuable - just trying to give back wherever I can. Thank you again brother!
That step where you align the tyactor is fundamental. Thank you very much, Allan.
Yeah if you miss that nothing will work. Very important. Glad that helped, thanks Santiago!
Thanks so much Allan McKay. Big hug from Brazil.
